3rd worse mocha Frappuccino of the night
    Beverly F.

If I could give zero stars.....this is the 3rd mocha Frappuccino I have ordered in the span of 30 mins The first order on Hinton Oaks the next on New Bern and now Capital Blvd/Huntleigh. My gawd can anyone get it right?? Watery bitter and there is absolutely no way that there was 6 pumps of mocha sauce. I doubt that they followed the request of my mobile order at all. I know what my drink is supposed to look and taste like. Is the staff? The old staff is sorely missed. These young folks aint cutting it. UTTER TRASH COFFEE...Where oh where is there a good Starbucks????

    Happy Holidays!

Roomy interior and good service. Found along my drive today. Busy drive through but the inside orders steadily come. Indoor seating is a few tables and three good sized community tables. Patio has seven tables. Good location and easy to enter on two sides of this corner placement.

Visiting different places you always need to find the closed Starbucks. We did drive though and Ms patty that took our order was the most pleasant voice this morning because of her we left a tip something we usually don't do. Everything was as ordered.

Spinach feta wrap -- my favorite Starbucks item

Before I get into the review, just want to share: *** There is no official Starbucks Secret Menu. *** The "secret" recipes you see online are customer creations. You can ask Starbucks baristas to make whatever you want IF you have the recipe, but they will not know what you're talking about if you come in and request a "secret menu" item. Just bring the recipe and you can get whatever you want! Anyway -- onto this specific location. It's right off Capital Blvd so it's pretty convenient. They have a drive thru but it's a little awkward. They have a few tables outside but not a huge amount of outside seating. Inside, it's clear they recently remodeled the place so it's pretty nice. A good amount of seating considering it's not a huge place inside. Plus, there were only a couple people in here so I didn't have any trouble finding a seat. The service was fine enough, though the guy tried to charge me for soy milk in my iced coffee (you shouldn't be charged for other milks in iced coffee -- only when you're getting soy/almond/etc. in something like a latte). I said nevermind on the soy milk, and they ended up giving it to me, so it all ended up being fine. It seems like they might just need some more training. Also, the person who handed out the drinks wasn't rude, but they didn't smile or anything. Food-wise, I got a spinach feta wrap (my favorite Starbucks item) and it was sadly a little cold in the middle. I'll still stop in here if I'm nearby out of convenience, but it's not my favorite Starbucks location in the area.

Awesome Starbucks location!!! Patty was excellent, accurate & quick with our ridiculous drink order (venti iced chai latte with soy, venti white chocolate mocha non-fat no whip with an extra shot & grande cafe latte with 6 Splenda no foam & cinnamon powder on top) all while maintaining a fun & friendly position. Definitely my new go to location. Highly recommended.

My pup and I had the pleasure of meeting Elise at the drive-thru today, and we just wanted to say she was super charming and efficient! Lovely personality. My boy got a puppacino and Elise gave me extra napkins for my poundcake too before I could ask. Love this Starbucks, they're always really sweet--today was just an extra-good example :)

    Caramel Ribbon Crunch

I absolutely love this Starbucks! My favorite drink (Caramel Ribbon Crunch) is normally sold out at the branch near my job, so I stop at this location on the way to work. The staff is SO FRIENDLY and are always happy, which is very uplifting, especially first thing on a Monday morning. They're always so pleasant and make my drink perfect. I highly recommend this location- they're quick, good drinks and cheerful employees!

My partner got the iced version--which was somehow even better than the warm version. I don't like my coffee drinks too sweet, and they struck exactly the right balance. It tasted like there was real strawberry (and not just a super-sweet syrup). Unlike many coffee shops, they gave us a number to bring to our table, so we didn't need to stand around and wait for our coffee to be ready. Instead, they brought it to our table for us. This was such a nice touch! There's a good amount of seating inside, but we sat outside since it was such a nice day. Can't wait to go back & try an iced americano or drip coffee to try out some of their different roasts.

Unfortunately, this is probably because the chairs were the equivalent of sitting on a guitar pick. The rest of the decor similarly resembled a mid-century modern insane asylum. All this is child's play compared to the drinks. I was hoping they would redeem the experience. I was rooting for you, iris coffee lab. The matcha left me wanting more. I couldn't taste even a whisper of matcha flavoring, and the price was laughable for a glass of green milk. When my flat white arrived, I felt that twinkle return to my eye. Sadly, about 3 sips later, as I neared the end of my beverage I was shocked to discover a texture component I was not expecting. After a lot of contemplation, I have decided I am not a fan of coffee grounds swirling around my mouth. The customers are hip and trendy, the employees exceedingly friendly and speedy, the drinks bespoke and innovative, but I think we need to cut out the frills and go back to the basics. Why play 3D chess when you've yet to master tic tac toe? I think the experience was net neutral, but for how steep the pricing is, I feel it's my duty to let the world know what they're getting into.

I got a hot americano first which was fantastic; i use this as a base measure for how well a shop pulls shots without having to completely sacrifice the drink if its subpar. I then grabbed an espresso which was perfectly balanced and easily drinkable; no need for sugar to offset bitterness; appropriate temperature; served in warmed ceramic shot glass. I also grabbed a baked good which was also great, i wouldve preferred it warmed up, although admittedly, they probably could have if id asked. There is a large amount of outdoor seating but inside seating is limited as well as outlets for work. Luckily it wasnt busy when i arrived and was able to find a spot to get setup. Will absolutely be coming back and recommending this place to others.

I'm a big fan of lighter-roasted, funky, expressive coffees, and Black & White absolutely delivers. Their roasting style leans into vibrant, fruit-forward profiles, and they do it with confidence. The downtown Raleigh location is fantastic too. It's right in the middle of everything, making it a great stop for a date night, meeting up with friends, or just dropping in for a quick but exceptional cup. Their seasonal menu was small but mighty -- just a couple of options -- but the kind where every drink looks so good you wish they'd never rotate them off the menu. I started with the orange cardamom flat white, and it was perfect in every way. Beautifully presented and incredibly balanced. The espresso, milk, orange, and cardamom all complemented each other without any one flavor taking over. It was nuanced, aromatic, and just a joy to drink. For my second drink, I ordered a Rodrigo Sanchez pour-over, a co-fermented Colombian coffee labeled with passion fruit notes. It was everything I want from a pour-over -- bright, juicy, and expressive, with the kind of sweet stone fruit and berry notes that make light-roasted coffee so exciting. Black & White continues to prove why they're one of the most respected specialty roasters around. If you love adventurous coffee with huge flavor and careful execution, this place is an absolute must-visit.
