Honestly this wasn't worth the wait. If you like Dutch Bros, you know what you're going to get, so by all means stop by. But what I realized about myself, as someone who doesn't drink caffeine and doesn't love huge sugar bombs, there is just a lot of the menu I skip over. My husband got an energy drink, which he enjoyed, and I got a small sparkling soda, to which I'd request half the sweet syrup next time. This experience seriously took us about 40 minutes just to get through the drive through at 2:15pm on a random Thursday. They seriously need to either redesign the drive through, get multiple windows, or just open more locations in the Triangle. The staff were super friendly, which I've experienced as being a trademark of Dutch Bros. The staffer in the parking lot taking the order, and the woman at the window (who was honestly carrying on such long convos with people, that can't have been helping the line). In a nutshell, I don't like how long it takes to get through this line, and I wish they had some more options that are decaf and less sweet. Otherwise, I probably won't go back.

I stopped by the new Dutch Bros Coffee on Morrisville Parkway, tucked just behind Trader Joe's, this weekend. It had been years since my last visit, somewhere out West, maybe California, but the moment I took a sip, the familiar quality came rushing back. The espresso was bold and balanced; the hot chocolate, rich and perfectly smooth. Honestly, the care they put into both drinks outshines what I've had from Starbucks or Dunkin. The team there made the experience even better, warm, patient, and eager to help navigate their wide menu without rush. When I arrived, just two people stood ahead of me. By the time I left, the line was well over twenty. But the cool dude at the window was quickly getting through all. That alone says something. I'm glad to see this place thriving here in Morrisville, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

    My birthday drink

We recently found out that we finally have a Dutch Bros nearby here, and as a huge fan from when we lived on the West Coast I had to come and get my birthday drink! I love the flavors. Seasonal and permanent. They always have create twists and so many options! Also their blended coffees are the best, the consistency of the ice us perfection to me! If you are like me and don't like it super sweet, please let them know so they can adjust the sweetness level to your preference. We chose the Hazelnut Mocha Truffle Coffee half the sweetness. If you like food they have a few baked goods but not a full breakfast menu so better for your caffeine fix. I also grabbed a kids freeze for my son, he is a huge fan of their kids flavors as well! We chose the sugar cookie flavor! Right now the lines are long so unless you are able to time it I would try to wait till the opening rush is past. Everyone was so kind, and we got our order pretty quickly all things considered! I hope you like Durch Bros. As much as I do!

    |Overview + Large cups of iced coffee made the drinks satisfying + Creamy and rich flavors and great coffee quality with just the right amount of espresso + Friendly customer service of cashiers made the place welcoming - Long 20+ min. wait for just 2 large cups of iced cofee - 2nd time going, we could not enter the drive thru because a longer queue would block the parking - Small coffee shop for just drive thru and pick-up so nowhere to sit around, so ambiance is not ideal. This is a combined review of our first 2 experiences in Dutch Bros. in Morrisville. I get the hype around Dutch Bros., and I know many coffee lovers are happy that a new location is finally here in Morrisville, NC. However, it seems that the operation lacked planning, and the result is a trendy spot gone chaotic, especially in our 2nd visit. The Dutch Faves, a special line of well-brewed & flavored coffee drinks, are the main reason to visit a Dutch Bros location. My wife got the Golden Eagle and I got the Cameralizer. Both are delicious, better than a typical Starbucks beverage, but we both agreed that the Cameralizer is the more delicious one. In our first visit, it took more than 20 minutes before we received our orders. In our 2nd visit, we ended up not getting anything because the drive thru was too long, and the customer service was not fast enough for us to wait. There was even a security who told us to turn around again to see if there is an opening for the line because the space around this Dutch Bros was so congested. No coffee is worth waiting for that long. I rather get an Unlimited Sip Club at Panera nearby and buy Tostani caramel syrup online to get a similar blend rather than wait at long drive thrus + slow customer service. | Overall Score: 3.3/5

OMG! If you love Chai, the hot Golden Eagle Chai with a light soft top is a must-try. So good! Next time I will try a cold beverage. As for ambiance, it's a super casual, to-go place so don't expect bells and whistles (or a seat to sit and savor your order). And if it's cold and you walk up, you may want to order and go back to sit in your car. This model may not be as appealing to coffee snobs who enjoy a nice, chic coffee shop. I'd seen the super long lines both in the drive-thru and at the walk-up window earlier in January, but was able to drive right up on a Wednesday evening later in the month. Was in and out of the line in less than 10 minutes. Had two super friendly ladies help me with my order - one took my order and the other helped me at the window. I will be back (particularly since it's right next door to a fabulous Trader Joe's!!!)! I docked 1 star only because the drive-thru seemed slightly confusing even though there wasn't a long wait. Unfortunately, the person who drove up after me was approached first and left first. LESSON LEARNED: get in the left lane so you won't have to merge from the right lane. Also, the order-ahead app feature wasn't available which kinda bummed me out because I was hoping to pre-order and zoom right through the line. I considered docking a 1/2 star because this is a carryout with nowhere to work or sit and savor your beverage, but the chai was so delicious it made up for that.

I always love coming to Dutch, being from Arizona it's a reminder of home. Typically the line is insanely long and takes some time but at 6am I was the only person there so I gave 5 stars. The staff is very fun and bubbly, I have never had a bad drink!

Dutch Bros just opened in Morrisville and I've been hearing a lot about it, so wanted to try it out. The drive-through wait was almost half an hour... it was super crowded. Tried the hazelnut truffle mocha and strawberry horchata. I liked the hazelnut truffle more, but that's just personal preference. The guy making our coffee was super energetic and friendly, which was nice. Also got a free Dutch cup for my fur baby, which was a cute surprise. Giving it 4 stars because you really need to plan ahead if you want to grab a coffee here.

    "Dude, where's my coffee?"
    Dan T.

"Dude, where's my coffee?" Lol. Ordering ahead is easy, yet painful, especially considering they have an app. Is it just me? Nope. Three other customers, while there, with the same experience. Roughly this ... Me: The app says my order is ready. "What's your name?" Name. "They haven't gotten to it yet." But the app told me my order was ready. "Yeah, that's just an estimate." That's not what the app says, it says to come up to the window now. "Yeah, this confuses a lot of people, it's only an estimate." Dutch Bros, you're missing the point of order ahead. I'm a social guy, but I'm not looking to hang out and chat with other disgruntled customers. If I was I'd just order at the window and not order ahead. You need to fix this (and, yes, I get that it's a corporate and not a local problem).

I was able to go back to this place to try something different and I was not disappointed, this place has very good drink options. Service was quick even tho they were packed.

Latte and Chocolate Chip Muffin Top (Jan 2026).
    Chip R.

Bottom line: Dutch Bros Coffee made a good tasting latte for me. They are definitely a to-go business model only here however I am one that likes to sit and savor my selections somewhere. The chocolate chip muffin top was prepackaged/not freshly made, it's what you'd expect from that. Oriented to a youthful and on-the-go target type market, which did not click with me personally. Extremely long drive thru lines seen here. The Deets: I had seen Dutch Bros Coffee pop up on my Yelp radar lately with the new location opening up in Park West Village shopping center (behind Trader Joe's) in Morrisville recently. I honestly had not known much of Dutch Bros before now, and decided to walk over after breakfast nearby. Dutch Bros Coffee has a pretty colorful presence, but actually the first thing I noticed was the very long line at their drive thru, wrapping around the building/parking area. I'm not one for lines but I understand they are new and everyone is eager to give them a try. I was glad I was not in a car going through that drive thru. They have a walk up window for ordering and the aforementioned drive thru window as well. There was not a long line at walk-up at the moment I arrived (only a couple in front of me), thankfully, as again I am not one for lines even if it's worth it. When it was my turn, the positive helpful person with her tablet took my order of a latte and chocolate chip muffin top while very upbeat youthful music was heard coming out of the work area with many staff busy filling orders. After my order was taken she assured me that she would call my name I provided for the order when it was complete. It was not a short wait, but maybe expected with the volume of business they were doing at that moment. After that pretty good wait, I retrieved my order from the window when my name was called. Now...their business model is definitely geared for the to-go market. Why? There are absolutely no tables, chairs, surfaces, etc. for you to stay there and enjoy your purchase. I get it, a good chunk of coffee drinkers are get-it-and-goers but I am not one of them. I do like a place to sit and savor my beverages/treats most of the time. I had to walk a good ways to even get to a place to take a pic of my order items to share here, as on the edge of a trash can was not an option of course, if that indicates how much they are sticking to the get-it-and-go process. Again, I get it, but from the to-go model definitely they used, the youthful upbeat music pouring out (a positive to keep the atmosphere going), and absolutely no surfaces/chairs to stay there and enjoy the goods...I can face that am certainly not the target market segment for Dutch Bros. As for the coffee itself, it's very good, I'd go with 4+ stars if only based on my latte itself. The chocolate chip muffin top was a prepackaged one in a wrapper and is just what one would expect from a prepackaged treat...OK, but I was not overly impressed with it. I'd maybe lean towards 3.5 stars here but I just can't go with 4 stars on this one. Good coffee indeed but the whole experience is just not my thing, however I am glad I went by and gave them a try.

    Jamie M.

We made the mistake of choosing one of the coldest days with the worst windchill to do the walk-up window outside. I would caution those who think this line is faster to understand that you're competing against all the cars, too, but while standing outside. We got the sugar free Caramelizer and the sugar free Golden Eagle. They were solid, and I would come back once the lines die down a bit. We waited about thirty minutes, which I don't think was worth it, but the workers were very bubbly and nice and it was great to get out of the house after the recent weather. Would probably give five stars if having ability to order ahead, but also know this is fairly new and it may be overwhelming for staff right now.

The latte was smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced--not overly sweet, just enough vanilla to complement the coffee. The Cragel was every bit as delicious as its reputation suggests: warm, chewy, flaky, and generously filled with cream cheese. A perfect coffee, a scrumptious Cragel, and ideal patio weather--what more could you ask for? This is exactly the kind of local gem that keeps me coming back.

It was very crowded there's not a lot of seating inside, they do have outside sitting. I did like how the inside looked and they had their pastries out front. I couldn't tell what to order and spent a few minutes trying to figure the menu out without getting overstimulated by the time I could even think about asking questions they had a really big line. I ended up ordering a medium cappuccino which I know see from other reviews that my disappointment was not just me. we did get a waffle croissant thing which was not bad. It tasted stale. So it was a bit tougher and chewier or I'm not sure if that's how it was supposed to be ? I'm sure if it was fresh it would have been better. My daughter ended up getting a fruit smoothie and a hello kitty looking Madeline that was banana flavored she really liked that. There are no prices on the things that aren't at their coffee station area. I did ask the guy up front that it was my first time here and I wasn't sure what to get, he just stared at me. Didn't say anything. And then corrected me when I asked for the waffle thing. Soo.. there's that. So I guess come here if you know what you want. Or come during non less busy hours. We only came by because it was across the street from our therapy appointment. But left more disappointed.. and I spent $22 with tip. Not even sure what I paid for or the prices it all happened so fast. So go here don't go here. We will probably try another place.

The Apfel (apple) turnover was delicious, as was the Heidelbeerkuchen (blueberry cake) and Zitronenschnitten (lemon bar). I saw a nice gentlemen there that day who I think may be part owner; based on what I see on their website I wonder if it was Herr Norbert. While waiting for another guy behind the counter to bag my goodies, I happened to mention (to who I think was Norbert) that I'm learning German, and he spoke some basic German to me! Which I understood - OMG, must tell my German teacher. A couple weeks later I needed to bring desserts to our monthly Book Club meeting, and Annelore's was my first thought. I decided to visit their actual store in Cary. Even though it's an hour away from home, I stopped by one day when I had to go to Raleigh for an appointment. An Annelore's employee helped me with selecting about six cake slices and 2-3 different bars, plus some German cookies. The inside of the store is very clean, and there are some places to sit if you'd like to eat there. The employees were kind and helpful (and patient, in my case, trying to decide what to buy for a Book Club group I'd never met in person).
