I came in to get some work done so I was here for several hours. This location is a great place to study with several different charging stations and large tables. Nice space for a business meeting. Plenty of room in an enclosed area in the store. I ordered a wrap and it was nice and hot and the ingredients were fresh. They were out of bananas for my husband's smoothie. Otherwise, a good experience. Clean restaurant. read more

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I'd booked the community room and another group was in there at the time of my reservation. Staff respectfully and professionally made the other group aware of our reservation. They apologized for the inconvenience and helped prevent any further miscommunication. It's Starbucks. Mostly clean bathrooms and a standard menu. What is difficult for me about this location is that it is usually moderately busy being in such close proximity to Rex and ITB but is never slammed. That being said, this location will try every single bit of patience you have in your body. It will literally take ten years to make your drink. Want to be simple and order an iced coffee? Nope. Still ten years. They will make some persons 4 to-go macchiatos before you get a plain coffee. Efficiency is not the way of this Starbucks. I find myself back here time and time again due to the proximity to where I need to be, but unless you want to wait 19 minutes for black coffee when there are only 2 people ahead of you, don't visit this location. read more

As many others, I come to this Starbucks often because it is close to where I live and on my way to work. That's the only reason. The staff is generally very friendly. But I wouldn't dare do a mobile order, 90 percent of the time they'll say they never got your order or you'll wait forever even if there isn't anyone else waiting. Once, I legit spent 35 minutes waiting for a coffee and sandwich I had ordered ahead of time. My coffee came after about 20 minutes. After multiple requests for someone to check on my food, I informed them I was now late for work and had to leave without the food I paid for. The barista literally responded, "We'll get ya next time." As if he knows who I am in order to "get me next time." Insane. Good thing is one call to Starbucks CS and they handled everything. They're very understanding and aware of your time, unlike some of their stores. read more

So this Starbucks is by far the best one ever with the exception of the mall. I came here once before and the service was amazing. This time I chose to try the drive through. One thing I find fascinating is that this Starbucks is a recycled restaurant. It appears to me that it was once a bank and they did a great job at preserving the blankness if the drive through. Another thing that made my day was Nancy she took my order and was exceptionally great at customer service. Stopped by here one afternoon for a frappuchino (the mocha coconut, which was tasty). Service was friendly and quick, although it wasn't particularly crowded. Being that it's in what used to be a bank, the atmosphere wasn't quite as cozy and warm as some other SB's, but it was spacious. A nice advantage to this one is that they have a room where you could have a meeting, game night , etc. without bothering other customers. This one also has a drive-thru. read more

Only bonus is the drive through. Every time I go in there no matter what it feels like outside it is MISERABLY cold in there!!! AC is pumping full blast straight on top of you at almost every table. I mentioned something to two of the work staff and the comment was "well we get hot back here." I guess screw the customers comfort huh?! Not going back. read more

Came here and ordered a simple order and the cashier named Hillary not only blamed us for putting the order in wrong, but also belittled us by saying that we are not using their terminology of 'tall' and so when we said a small, she said that meant a grande. When we asked to repeat the order, she got everything wrong. She looked at the other customers waiting behind us and shook her head at us. And when we finally got the food, one of the items was still wrong. We did not change what we ordered and this woman's behavior was horrible. Great location near 440, Rex Hospital, and the fairgrounds. This Starbucks is a super spot for meetings and working with a variety of tables strewn about inside and outside. On this busy Friday morning, cars were lined up around the building for the drive thru and seemed to me moving at a good pace. I would recommend it for passing through or taking a moment to pause. read more

I only come here because of the convenience. This place is lacking enthusiasm, customer service, and fresh products. Anytime I order my drink they make it wrong or it somehow gets screwed up and also, their bakery items are always stale. Very disappointing! read more

do not eat or drink anything here! this place is infested with roaches. while waiting in line to order my drink, there was three of them crawling up the wall near the ceiling. if there's three then there's more that i didn't see. have reported them to the health department and hope they take care of it. next time i come through raliegh, i will not be stopping here. read more

This location never fails to disappoint. I have attempted to give this location multiple chances in hopes my opinion will be changed, but they continuously disappoint. I have ordered the mocha frap and triple mocha frap numerous times, but each time they manage to mess it up in some way. I have asked for it without whipped cream, but it always ends up on the drink. That, I can live with as many locations have the same issue and it's a tolerable mistake. My issue comes from the last 2 times I have tried to give them another chance. The first time, they made my mocha frap with chai since someone accidentally replaced the mocha pump with the chai pump. Apparently they had been making the drink this way all day (I went around 3pm). How no one informed them of this prior to when I went that afternoon is surprising to me. They were super nice and remade the drink, so I decided I would give them another chance. Unfortunately for this morning, I did not have time to go back and wait for them to remake the drink correctly as I was able to last time. My triple mocha frap this morning is basically an iced coffee. The flavor is not correct and it's not the frozen consistency it should be, but rather a nice iced coffee liquid form. I have no idea what the girl making the drink did for the frap to turn out this way. While the staff is always super friendly, I will not be back to this location. Too many major mistakes have solidified that they are not able to consistently make the drinks correctly for me. read more

However, if your carbonation machine is going be down for over a month, then TAKE IT OFF THE FREAKIN MENU. This is the most unorganized, apathetic starbucks I've ever been in. I only go here for my Friday coffee and dread it every time. I wish there was another between my home and work, but this is the one. There are usually 5, sometime 6 chickens with their heads cut off working. Most of the time the line takes 10 mins to get to the register...even if only 4 or 5 people are ahead of you. Then it's a giant cluster to pick up your beverage at the other end. Every time (seriously, every time) I order the exact same thing: and it's wrong. I watch the input on the computer. I look at my receipt...those are all correct, but the barista who yells it out is always wrong and has to take it back to either add a shot of espresso or add the cinnamon (which is only behind the counter now...I can do that myself still. I'm 36). Ugh, if you don't have to, don't stop at this store during busy hours where they should be a fine tuned machine churning drinks out left and right. read more

i ordered two sandwiches & a drink from this location & i got my sandwiches but never received my drink. i sat down & waited almost 20 minutes for my drink until i got up & went back to the counter. i asked the barista if it was typical to wait that long or if i was just forgotten about. Bea, the barista taking orders, asked me to remind them what i got, i told the order back w/ the receipt in my hand. they recited the recipe to the barista making drinks, andrew. i sat back down & 10 more minutes goes by & i stand up & walk back over & another employee i'm assuming a shift leader or MOD ask can they help w/ something. i told them i was waiting on my drink that i had already asked for THE SECOND TIME... at this point i'm like y'all aren't serious right. no one made the drink!!!!!! so he ask what did i get... again. all the employees gather around looking like mannequins at macys trying to figure out what i'm talking about so i just ask for my money back. it took every thing in me to remain calm. i got my money put back on my debit card which i had taken out to my car during this whole fiasco & the shift lead/MOD states they do returns in the same format paid & can't just give me the cash out the register. he gave me a $4 coupon for a $6 drink & told me to have a nice day. still... no drink!!!!!!! this location & staff are embarrassing. no one remembered my name, my drink, nothing. just left w/ my at this point cold sandwhiches & cotton mouth. read more
