Nephew wanted a foofoo drink, so we decided to try our luck while I was reading some books. Apparently, eye rolling and snarky banter are hiring requirements. The counter staff were more engaged in their conversation about gossip while acting as if the customers were inconveniencing them...the audacity of me to expect so little! Bottom Line-save your cash and be a barista at home or spend two bucks and get twice the coffee at McDonald's (not to mention it tastes better). Biggest waste of five dollars. I think I'm pretty much becoming a regular at this Starbucks! :P This place is really nice and cozy in the midst of all of the shops and food joints around the area. It's right off the freeway with ample parking. The drinks I always get are prepared just the way I like it and the pastries are great... need to cut back on the pounds though! I love the energy of the workers here. They really seem to know their regulars well. I must've come in too late in the day to get any food; the offerings were decent. But then, it's not in a location that has a lack of food places, either. You really do come in just for coffee or to meet up with friends. Lots of outside seating. Apparently, in the summer, there are people who are either busking or just randomly playing their music outside. You may or may not like their music enough to stay around this Starbucks if the music gets loud. read more

I love the staff, I always love my drinks, and I love the atmosphere. I come here regularly to read or draw and every time I'm more inspired to work. The staff is wonderful and the more I come in the more I love them all. I like getting to know them as well as they like getting to me and most of their regular customers. The environment is friendly and homey, I think the only "downside" is their lack of wall plugs but besides that it's great. This Starbucks is Ina great location with lots of stores and restaurants around. There's plenty of outdoor seating for those who want to sit out and enjoy the sun. Seating inside is limited at times when people are there to do their homework or just to sit and chat with friends and so forth. The baristas here are ok. They charged me 2.95 for a venti ice water wit matcha powder. I told the girl I always pay 80 cents and she told me per her manger she has to charge me as s customized tea. I Never pay more than 80 cents. She then told me "well at least you can get as much matcha powder as you want for 2.95" I would like an explanation from the store manger. This is wrong! WSE!!! Worst Starbucks EVER! Every time I went there I'd walk out saying, "I'm never going back." Until now, reluctantly I did out of sheer convenience. My latest experience sealed it for me. What frustrated me most about my experiences here is the lack of care from the staff. They are always goofing off, socializing with themselves or with others and have no drive or urgency. So this last time (emphasize last) I put in a mobile order and stopped to pick it up. After standing there for 2 minutes watching the guy and girl talking, I mentioned I had a mobile. He took a few to break the conversation about his trip to the beach to turn slightly and say, "oh our sticker thing isn't working" and got on his head set. After another few, I asked well is he going to prep my order and he told me to get in the line with the others. I said, no. I already ordered, have paid and can show my receipt. Begrudgingly he asked what I ordered and with no urgency completed it saying "here." I'm done. If you're looking for a better Starbucks go Redlands and Clark - that team clearly has better leadership and hiring expectations. For a good cup of coffee when I'm in that area, I go to Sugar Shack - a team that greatly appreciates its customers. read more

I bought a coffee mug at the Starbucks in San Bernardino for a secret Santa at work. The barista there told me if I didn't have a receipt to return the purchase, it could be looked up on my card. Went shopping in Redlands and found another gift for my secret Santa. Went here to return it and offered my card to look up the order and they refused. Told them what the barista at the other location told me and they didn't care. I am extremely upset because they didn't even try looking my card up I felt as if she took one look at me and decided I was lying. Yes. i'm updating my review again because it has been a while and the problem I had in the past was resolved. I love this starbucks. Everyone is always super polite. Most of the baristas are so used to me coming every day to get my mother in laws drink....they always know I order a ice water for myself. LoL. Everyone is super nice and even patient and accommodating when i do 2 separate orders. The drinks are always spot on. Often times, I visit Starbucks late in the evening, and the coffee is not the freshest as they're not really expecting too many people to pick a drip coffee as a beverage for the evening. Went to cold stones to get ice cream. After eating it I wanted some water. So I came to Starbucks to get a ice water. Everyone knows that water is free at Starbucks so I took a few dollars inside with me to tip them for my water. It took me about 7 minutes just to get an ice water. By far my favorite Starbucks location! The scenery is gorgeous and the employees are all really nice. I'll stop by every now and then to do some homework. Gone here a handful of times each time worse. I've never had fast service. Always waiting 5 minutes or more just to order and it could be completely empty. Today was the worse. This is the best Starbucks in the Loma Linda/Colton/San Bernardino/Redlands area for studying. There are plenty of seats/tables, plenty of power outlets, open-late hours, cool baristas, and lots of other people studying. There are usually open seats, which is more than can be said at other nearby Starbucks. The Barnes & Noble in the same Orange Plaza mall is a close second for best places to study-- so if you come here to study and you can't find a seat, you can migrate over to Barnes & Noble. read more
