As a true regular at this Starbucks location is amazes me the lack of consistency and service on the weekends. During the week the service is impeccable. The weekends are another story all together. Long waits with one vehicle in front of you.....inconsistent service and product..... a Venti iced latte can be so white and milky one time and dark as the night the next. Service is so inconsistent you can't believe it is the same location you frequent during the week.......... One of the worst Starbucks I went too. They messed up, not one...but TWO of my hot coffee orders. It wasn't until later (since the drinks were hot) that the screw up was found. Ordered a grande pumpkin spice latte and a cinnamon dolce latte. Pumpkin spice had absolutely no flavor, and cinnamon dolce tasted like it had all of the flavor. In addition, they left about an inch of space from each coffee. No wonder though, seven employees all standing around bullshitting....and only one customer in front of me. It still took 10 min. Avoid this Starbucks if you want any service, and if you actually want your drink made properly the first time. read more

The girl that's in the drive-through every morning is completely rude. Told me today after going there for years and getting a Venti ice water With my $10-$20 orders, that they don't do that. Just went there yesterday different person they did that. She also told me they're no longer giving out straws but didn't give me a lid with a non straw friendly hole in it. When I asked for a straw she basically threw it at me. Every other Starbucks in town will give you a Venti ice water and a straw if you ask if you need one. Unless they give you the right lid are you supposed to pull your lid off when you're driving a car and drink your coffee I don't think so! I'm writing to the corporate office as well. read more

I've never actually been inside this Starbucks. As often as I've gone it's always been the drive through. So I cannot comment on the interior but I can say the drive-thru Baristas are always friendly and they get my order right 100% of the time. Can't ask for anything more than that. First by letting me say I am a Starbucks addict! I eat drink or work at some Starbucks location almost every single day. This time I didn't go in but just grab myself some coffee in the drive-through. This Starbucks drive-through is not necessarily ideal. You have to basically go through the line of fire from the drive-through line to get to the front door if you decided you wanted to go inside instead of using the drive-through. This location is also connected to body pages, which..., If you have some dry cleaning and want to grab a coffee is absolutely ideal! However the layout for the drive-through and parking for the guests that are going into the location is a bit dangerous and a bit muddled up. You have people there parking across the street that are trying to get into the entrance you have people from the drive-through trying to get out of the drive-through and into the drive through and all of them have to cross in the same general area. Unfortunately this is the only drive-through Starbucks within quite some ways... And if it's snowing or raining and you're in a hurry this is going to be your best bet. The people here are always absolutely amazing, like all Starbucks! So I give them three stars for the drive-through but five stars for the staff. read more

This Starbucks is conveniently located nearby and has a drive thru yet every time I go there the line is always way too long inside and out and the baristas constantly mess up my drink, and it's not even that complicated. I'm always disappointed and shocked they don't recognize me or my order for how often I go there. read more

I used to feel Starbucks kept up with the times. Everyone's feeling the pinch of the economy right now, so why raise prices. However, with the new year came new prices. I'm not happy that a house coffee is a 1.99 for a venti drip. I was content with a 1.75, but come on that's still pricey compared to McDonald's for a hot cup of joe. I enjoy going to any Starbucks. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing. My only complaints are, Starbucks doesn't serve any organic coffee, and when I come in I try to take a bistro box home for later but they never seem to have what I want. I don't know if it's because they don't order enough or if they actually sell out before I get there. I usually go around 3 in the afternoon. read more

I witnessed one of the baristas wiping down a toilet(not using gloves) with a wash rag, she lifted the seat and really got it clean. Then, check this out, proceeded to wipe down all the mugs and cups for sale with said pee rag. That's foul. read more

The drinks are prepared well but the atmosphere is dismal. I live nearby so I tried this location about 4 times so far. I would like to stop by after working 8 hours retail on Fri, Sat and Sun but it is an unfriendly place. I arrived at 7:15 pm but the floors were being mopped so I had to pray that I would not fall as the distance from the sitting area to the front is far. No greeting; just there to take my order. I had to clamber back over the wet floor to retrieve my drink and I do have arthritis...no thank you nor a good evening. Why? The Starbucks on S Virginia is really friendly but a bit funky at times. This is the worst Starbucks location I have ever been at! It's the closest Starbucks to my house so normally I do go there. However, 90% of the time, my orders are wrong, ( all i EVER order is black coffee with heavy cream on a side, how can you mess it up? ) have a bunch of employees working, but even with only few people in line I managed to wait at least 10 minutes.....Last time I went I waited at least 5 minutes, being the only customer, 5 employees were present and no one even acknowledge that I was there by at least saying " Will be with you soon as we can". This location is always fast and efficient. Everyone's really nice and they rarely ever run out of ingredients. I come here almost every morning before work and love seeing familiar faces. They know my order now and take good care of me every time! read more

This is the best Starbucks in Reno. The staff are friendly and speedy, the space is well laid out for staying and reading, and it has a drive-thru. Our running group usually crashes the place on Saturday mornings, and we're always met with cheerfulness and welcome. read more

I visited this location on several occasions this last week and was thoroughly disappointed on every visit. From employees too busy joking with each other to help customers, to waiting for my drink because they made the drinks and food for their regulars first to having an employee offer to help, then walked away from the counter to go do something else, which resulted in my having to bet back into line and wait again. My Vanilla Latte is what you would expect from a Starbucks, consistent and good, but the customer service will keep me from coming back. read more

Every time I go in here, generally when I have errands in the area, I have consistently been treated rude by the barista. Also they have a bad tenancy to mess up my drink. Most recently I went in and asked for a passion tea lem...because thats all the girl let me get out before snapping that they were out of lemonade. I ordered a passion tea with raspberry sweetener instead. I watched one barista make it and she completely skipped the sweetener. When I asked if she could put some in she rolled her eyes, grabbed my cup and put a few pumps in then set on the counter rather hard without saying a word.I'll have to start making the drive to keystone to avoid the attitude and death stares. read more

Hey Starbucks - when it's slow - customer service is even more important. The woman on drive thru duty (identified by the headset) waited on me when I walked in. The silence between us was awkward for me because I never know if they are listening to someone outside. I waited for her que. I ordered my cocoa. She made it personally. Two of her coworkers were busy behind the counter. No one said thank you. I loved the way my order was announced - just like when they are busy. I'm a grande hot chocolate. There were no other customers anywhere - inside or outside. Went home across the street. One full inch of room I noted upon arrival - within 3 minutes. Thought it would have whip? Called to ask if it comes standard? Yes indeed the reply. Well, not in mine. Woman with attitude at this store. And no team to help her out. Baby it's cold inside.
