Starbucks drive thru in Reno! My review is regarding drive through service only. The line moves quickly, always offering to warm your danish/muffin & perfect drinks on each visit. Although, this 5 star review is for the drive thru window employee. She always greets you with a smile & good morning, how's your day? Making everyone's day a bit brighter- Thank you!

Updating my review for spring/summer. This is my favorite Starbucks location. They are the most friendly and most accurate of all the Starbucks I have visited throughout the Reno Sparks area. The store is always clean inside and out. The Baristas greet you with cheerfulness and almost a song in their voice when they take your order. It's so refreshing to interact with someone who obviously likes their job and is helpful in meeting customer service needs. Updating my rating. Totally disgusted that it's not even mid October and Starbucks has sold out for the rest of the season of their pumpkin scones. One of the BEST sellers they have and they're not making anymore for the year! A major marketing miscalculation on your part Starbucks.

Taking a Medicine Ball home

This location is literally next door to where I work so I visit often, haha. Sometimes I work at 6:30am, sometimes I work at 7:45am. Either way, the baristas in the drive thru are helpful and friendly! I believe they recognize me too, haha. Anytime I order a food item, they will ask if I would like it warmed up. I also know that my coworkers are treated well when they go too. Our drinks are made to order. Depending on what time you go, the drive thru can get pretty busy. I personally have not had a problem, but I have driven by and seen a long line before. It definitely depends on day and hour. The Medicine Ball is a wonderful beverage! Made of hot tea, lemonade (steamed) and other healthy items, it helps when you are sick! Not a cure, of course, but it will ease your symptoms so you can temporarily function for work. One last thing about this location, there is plenty of space to sit with friends or conduct a coffee meeting with peers! Nice little patio in good weather and large sitting room inside! One of Reno's best Starbucks locations.

Wow. I see why I'm not a huge Starbucks fan Our office closed today due to a random electrical fluke. So one of the other girls and I went out for some coffee before heading home. This location has a nice small patio with umbrellas for shade. It seemed quite clean inside and the have done some remodeling since I was in last. More shelves for more products. But the gal taking the orders this morning lacked personality and any social skills- I never got a good morning or what can I get you? She just stared at me until I ordered. Awkward. She did then ask for my name to write on the cup and that was it. We picked up the drinks at the end of the counter and don't remember hearing a thank you then either. I realize this could be quite the busy location but really, a smile, hi and thanks isn't too much to expect is it ? They are consistent on the taste of their drinks, I will give them that.

Puppychino!!!!! Thanks to Anthony for making their morning so bright!!!!

Time to update past review. The service had definitely improved! Being on the way home every day, I pass by and have been swinging in for a quick drink. Much quicker than the past 3 months!! The afternoon barista's are getting better. The large selection of holiday beverages keep me wanting to go back and try new things. Make sure you ask for it to be extra hot if you want to feel some warmth going down your throat. The new gingerbread latte has just the right amount of ginger and cinnamon. They have no problems giving your pup a cup of whipped cream "pupachino". Just ask when you get to the drive up.

I really like this Starbucks if I need some "me time". There is plenty of comfortable seats to just sit back and enjoy my coffee while reading my kindle. My coffee is made exactly like I ask. The staff seem to enjoy their job and are friendly without going overboard to where it seems fake . This is one of my favorites. They also have a drive thru

Medicine ball, more rewards points and incredible service!

Omg, my experience here made my day, I didn't catch anyone's names unfortunately but I'll share the experience... The experience: I'm not easily touched/moved but this day I was. A nice young gal greets me with a smile from ear to ear and says, "welcome to Starbucks, what can I get started for you?" She might have asked how I was doing but just the warmth in which she greeted me was enough. I order my go to, medicine ball, and ask if they have these bars they used to carry, I wasn't sure what they are called and try to describe them as best as possible but we cannot figure it out. Where we go the extra step is when the young lady asks someone else if they have an idea of what I'm talking about, the other person then askks the manager and she says, "yes the RXbars" she explains the situation. Anyways talking about going extra steps, this manager says but have you tried this bar, it's just about the same thing and just as popular, I still wasn't sold so she says, "here, because of the confusion I want you to try and make up for not having the other bars." I was blown away at this point, not because of a free bar, I was going to buy it anyways but because not at one point was I ever told no in this transaction. Everyone was trying to find something that would be accomdating. Thank you Starbucks on the corner of lakeside and mccarren, you made my day :)

I've been going to The Spice & Tea Shoppe for years, even before the rebrand, and it's still one of…read morethe most comforting little stores in Reno. It's the kind of place where you walk in "just to look" and somehow end up spending forever wandering through shelves of teas, spices, olive oils, and vinegars because there's always something new to smell or discover. The whole shop just has such a cozy, welcoming vibe. My absolute favorite is their Maui Wowie tea, especially iced in the summer. It's honestly become part of my routine whenever I'm on that side of town. If I'm heading over to Trader Joe's, there's a very good chance I'm stopping here first for an iced tea before I shop. Their chai selection is also incredible. Everything tastes high quality without feeling pretentious. Beyond tea, they have such a great variety of spices, infused olive oils, and vinegars. The oils and vinegars are especially dangerous if you love good bread and dipping plates because you'll immediately want to buy five of them. The staff has always been kind and helpful without hovering, answering any questions I had, and you can tell they genuinely care about the shop and the products they carry.

Update time! Great location. Store is loaded with products…read more The quality is top notch. Organic and USDA certified. The owners have spent years working on perfecting their offerings and it shows. Spices and spice blends. They are all available in a variety of sizes and packagings. Most of them have a tester available so you can taste what you are getting. Teas... my favorite side of the store. They have all the traditional styles along with their unique combinations. Not only do they offer a tester so you can smell the flavors....but most of those flavors are available at the back bar to have made for you to enjoy while shopping or to go !!! Make sure to try "happiness in a cup"..... They also have lots of kitchen must haves.... Along with unique gift ideas.

What a major local gem in Reno. It only took one visit for…read moreme to become a fan of this coffee shop/bar in Midtown. You can tell that a lot of thought and heart went into the place. The decor, the entertainment, the products all struck a chord with me. On one side - a super cute pour over/loose leaf tea shop with some records for sale. On the other - a cute bar and lounge area equipped with a vinyl player (Bring one in on a Monday for them to play). You have some house pants, checkered floors, and cool vinyl covers all over the walls that make for some great & hip atmosphere and vibes. Their restrooms, though small, and clean and cool. Their pour overs are so flavorful, strong, and made with beans grounded on your visit. I love that they're flavored and sweetened in a way that allows the coffee to shine. If you're into sweeter drinks, ask for a bit more sweetner or add in a brown raw sugar packet yourself from the straw station. I hear their chocolate pour over is a hit. Matchas - prepared in a similar fashion. Slightly sweetned with subtle flavorings. I tried their carrot cake matcha today and really enjoyed the housemade syrup they used to flavor it with. I also love that they offer loose leaf teas. Their chai was nice, fragrant and great with a little sweetner and milk. Shelby over at the bar area was sooo patient with explaining their menu and suggested a isla bonita pineapple shrub drink for a non alcoholic option. Similar to their other drinks on the coffee side, it was tamed in sugar yet still fun and flavorful. I really enjoyed the tang from the apple cider and the spice from the tajin chili powder as a contrasting flavor. Double check their website for bar and coffee shop hours as they differ from one another. And follow them on Instagram for updates on seasonal specials & themed gatherings. A lot of cool local DJs spin here for special events and parties during the holidays. Tip: sit next to the pour over station next to the menu. It's so entertaining, especially with Sydney working the station (thanks so much for the chat and entertainment. Honestly one of the friendliest baristas I've ever met in Reno). Both bars are set up in a way that allows for meeting others and socializing. Check it out. It's a good time. Notes *Catch live jazz music on Wednesdays here for free. *free street & neighborhood parking *bagels & cream cheese available at the coffee shop *they have fun with their seasonal drink specials. I dig it.

This time last year EP was on the Yelp Food Walk…read more So I was past due to circle back and rediscover it when it wasn't flooded with event goers. An interesting combination of coffee shop, bar, and vinyl lounge, EP is located on Wells Avenue. Took a break from checking out other neighborhood shops to sit and enjoy an afternoon cocktail with friends. Plenty of various comfy seating areas and about six spots at the bar. I tried the Float On, a boozy adult root beer float using local gelato from Bibo. It's a coffee shop, so my friend sipped the 9 to 5, their version of an espresso martini. The Soul Sipper, a beautiful orange colored cocktail was similar to an Aperol Spritzer. Located on the corner of Wells and Vassar, there's a little more street parking available.
