We visited this location after leaving the Whole Foods. The parking lot was pretty busy with it being Saturday, but we had no problem navigating. It's in a convenient spot. We went through the drive through. It's the only time i've ever not had to sit in a line at Starbucks. The employee was friendly and patient as she answered my partner's questions. Once we arrived at the window, it was maybe two minute at most before we had our order. Everything was correct and tasted great. Ordered a Venti PSL, received a cup half full of coffee that is lukewarm and was charged $8. Such a disappointment and waste of my money.

It really shouldn't take 15 minutes to get a latte made. I've had to wait 10 minutes for a regular tea. Food is never that good, the croissants are absolutely terrible. Makes me change my mind about my order.This is why I never tip here. The service sucks why should I give someone a tip that made me wait that long. I love coming to this location! The staff here is very friendly and efficient. I never have had a bad experience. The inside is a bit small so pre covid it could get pretty packed in here. Thankfully with social distancing and increased mobile ordering, it is not as busy. You can also get curbside pick up here which I appreciate as there is no drive-thru! read more

I really did not seem to have much luck food wise yesterday, lol. I stopped here for a Salted Caramel Mocha Frappucino after a bad meal some place else. I really love the Salted Caramel Mocha, and it's seasonal flavor, so you can't get it all the time. There was no one in line when I got there, so there shouldn't have been any reason to rush making my drink. I could tell when she gave it to me that it was too dark, and I took one sip, and it was awful. I'm not a barista, but I'm pretty sure it was too much mocha, and really no caramel as far as I could taste. I should have said something, but I don't like to be that person, so I just took it and left. I'm going with 3 stars because I've been here a couple times before and I don't remember specifics, so I don't want to go any lower based on one drink. This is a small Starbucks, and it has just one, decently sized table for use by customers. I have visited numerous times, and that table is ALWAYS fully occupied by a worker (a big guy with tattoos). I think this bad business practice, and also shows disrespect for customers. read more

This morning was super rough so I decided to swing through the drive-thru for a quick pick me up. My morning was instantly turned around as soon as Gabriel's voice came over the intercom to take my order. He was kind, thorough and quick. When I pulled up to the window to pay, we quickly chatted about my morning. He handed me my order (extra credit for asking if I wanted a straw), and before I left he said a few simple words through a genuine smile. 'I believe in you, you've got this'. This marks the first time in history that I've teared up in a drive-thru. Kudos to the mangers for hiring such wonderful individuals. The service is great, but Gabriel's words and kindness turned my entire day around. The world could use more people like him. read more

Thanks Starbucks for being my refuge during those times where there's no other convenient location for a meeting. The downside is that this place is often hopping and it can be difficult to find a seat. Somehow, I arrive at the perfect time to nab one of the last few spots. The caveat is that it's often a spot too far for my power cord to reach the outlet. That means, I've inconveniently had to stalk those sitting near an outlet to perfectly time the fade of my battery power. It works out every time, despite being an annoying distraction with a few too many awkward moments of eye contact with strangers as I wish them to leave. I do also like the little bar area that overlooks the barista station, but again I'm so easily pulled in to eavesdropping on the coffeehouse employee drama. As for the product: I must say I prefer the new Pike Place brew. Full body, and doesn't have that burnt flavor. I never liked the darker roasts (less caffeine contrary to popular belief!). The Pike is a good mid-afternoon pick me up. Although lately, I've been trying to keep my caffeine intake to a minimum and opt for the peppermint tea. A lovely alternative. Other treats: - The coffee cake is so yum, but not so healthy. - I recently tried the breakfast sandwich. Very reminiscent of a Dunkin breakfast sando. I had the classic (English muffin, sausage, egg, and cheese). It was a good breakfast bite in a bind. - Spinach feta wrap -- not the best ever, but when you need something to keep you going it's a good quick snack to fill you up. The wrap was a little dry for me. It was wheat so that maybe the culprit. - I'm into the new decor with the coffee bags framed on the walls and cozy seating area. Twice I ordered a fairly large order for a group and when I got to the location it was closed. The first time I called the 1800 number and was told they would cancel my order and process a refund. Missing from the entire conversation was any apology for wasting my time. Never got a refund. Second time, one week later, same thing happened. You would think there would be an update on their app. Called again to get a refund for BOTH times, was told "no refunds" only store credit. However I was able to negotiate a check being sent to me IN TWO WEEKS! Really need to get some IT pros there. read more

I've had a couple of bad experience. The people who work there clearly don't give a crap. They approximate the drinks. Today I asked for a dopio macchiato extra foam and got 2 shots with 1 scoop of foam. I asked for it to be made again and was completely ignored by the barista while he made 6 more drinks. He only made it again after i remarked whether he will do it today or tomorrow. I also had ordered a chocolate croissant which was never put out until i asked for it after getting my properly made drink and the guy just slapped it in their oven for 2 seconds which means the chocolate did not melt properly. I love my Starbucks location. It is very conveniently located right off the 590. The best part about Starbucks is the app. Ordering online allows me to skip the lines and NEVER wait for my order. Best Starbucks in town, hands down! The staff is extremely hard-working (they have to be, it's one of the busiest stores), but always cheerful and taking time to talk with you as much as they can. I feel like the manager at this store should train all managers around Rochester (not just Starbucks managers either!), as he gets 110% effort from his staff while being nice to them and allowing them to have fun. I've seen him deal with customer mishaps the same way.. he just has a way of treating any situation as an opportunity to build a closer connection with customers. Every barista here is fantastic. I've never received the wrong drink or one that wasn't perfectly prepared. I really adore this crew, and feel fortunate to have them as part of my morning each day! read more
