She chose Carpenter coffee roasters which is a small local coffee truck right off Elk Florin. We parked and walked up to the truck. I was hesitant because of the small menu, but don't let that fool you because the coffee they use is really REALLY GOOD! We ordered an iced vanilla latte and an iced white mocha. I usually stay away from drinks with dairy (lactose intolerant, LOL) but my daughter ordered my drink and gave me the: "just try it" look. And boy was she right! The coffee they use cuts through but the white chocolate created a smooth creamy aftertaste. Soooo good! But honestly, the highlight wasn't even the drink itself. It was the adorable little elephant vessel it came with. They put dry ice inside and then pour water into it, making it look like the elephant is blowing smoke out of its trunk. My daughter was completely mesmerized. Watching her reaction was worth the visit all by itself. What I loved most was that it wasn't just a gimmick. The drink was actually good, and the elephant made such a cute keepsake afterward. It felt like getting both a treat and a souvenir. The café itself had a fun atmosphere, and it was one of those places that felt a little different from your typical coffee or tea stop. I told the cashier I'll have the crystal boba instead of the brown sugar since it's currently unavailable, and the guy goes with an attitude... soo do you want the crystal boba? I almost had to bite the whip because it was so thick. Seems like they're using quality ingredients so the intention is there, the executions needs some refinement.

If I had to guess, these probably only hold around 12 ounces of liquid. Talk about cheap! I won't be back. For expensive coffee, you should be getting more.
