I placed an order online for a pick up time at 11:15. I arrived at 11:05 with 3 cars ahead of me. I went through the drive thru. I thought the line would go by quickly but just getting to the window alone took 20 minutes. Then had to wait another couple of minutes for them to make my drink. My family loves Dutch Bros. We go there all the time for our favorite drinks. Every first Wednesday of the month I go and order three drinks so that I can get stickers for my grandchildren. My granddaughter called me while on vacation in Montana to ask me to get the cupholder which is the promotion for today. The first location I went to said they were completely out and the second location said they ran out at 8 o'clock this morning. 5 stars for drinks. The walk up window service is close to non existent. But that is probably not new to anyone. One worker literally looked out the window where we were standing and didn't acknowledge us at all and proceeded to walk off. 3 minutes later was asked if we have been assisted where we stated not yet. I used to really like this location especially because it's close to me. It's definitely gone downhill over the years. I ordered a large blended stardust green tea extra sweet (I've never had a problem with my iced or blended teas in the past) but today it just tastes like watered down green tea with food coloring for the color . My favorite DB spot, close to home and it's like everybody knows your name (Cheers reference)...not really but everyone is really chill, lol. I've never been a real coffee buff so I don't venture out on coffee drinks too much. And like to stick to what I know which used to be very little, so I'd typically just ordered an ice white Mocha. One day I asked the girl outside taking the order what I typically get and want something similar but not so heavy on the heavy cream. And she suggested the drink I now get almost every day (dub shot over ice, 5 heavy creams, and vanilla flavoring). It's basically a milder iced Vanilla Brevé. Also all of the staff are really friendly, and like to make small talk about your day which is pretty nice. This is my go-to Dutch location because it's located near me. I love the drink selection, and the staff has always been friendly. Despite the lines usually being long, they go quickly. I recently downloaded the app to earn points for my purchases, which I find well rewarding! I do want to mention that it seems they have difficulty printing receipts. I asked for a receipt upon ordering, then was directed to ask at the pick-up window, then was met with confusion at the pick-up window. The staff seemed caught off guard by me asking for one. What a disappointment my husband went to pick up a coffee and surprise me with it today he ordered a golden eagle. He watched them make the drink. He watched the espresso machine make the espresso shots, but they handed him a cup of milk with caramel and light ice no shots at all. Pretty nice coffee place! The line is long, with 2 lines going in opposite directions! Still, the serve staff are all very friendly. They even helped explain a lot of items in the menu, and which items have caffeine and which doesn't etc. Basically you get sit-down-restaurant-style service, at a drive-through location. Great! I'm always a big fan of Dutch Bros coffee. When I live in Arizona I would definitely go at least once every couple of months. I always enjoyed how friendly they were, how the drinks were tasty, and quality. Dutch brothers is always vibe and so it's always nice to see the worker's having fun. It shouldn't had a to drive up options. One site was much busier than the other. As soon as I ordered I was able to get my drink within 5 minutes. I got caught up with the advertisement and ordered the ice cold brew Orange coffee. I was very satisfied with my selection. The cold brew was given me an Orange chocolate flavor and I really enjoyed that period. I hope we get a Dutch Bros coffee out in Illinois. I didn't know this initially. The sweet gals staffing the drive thru lane closest to the Sheldon Road parking lot entrance informed me of that and advised that the other line is shorter. So I drove on over to that line which is closest to the Elk Grove Florin Road parking lot entrance. Good thing I did, I got my drink lickety split and was back in the road. Actually I got my drink quicker than the other cars in the other lane that were there before me. But wait for it... My small mocha freeze looked so pretty. But it didn't taste like an usual DB freeze. It was flavorless and icy. This is my go to DB drink so I pretty much know how a well made one tastes. This one was bland and icy.
