Usually very busy in the morning with retired folks and stay at home parents coming to get their cup of Joe and hang out. There's no drive thru so it's calmer and I prefer that as it makes the parking situation less chaotic compared to locations with drive thru's. I enjoy coming here by myself or with my hubby or kids for warm coffee and tea in the winter or cold specialty drinks in hotter weather. I can usually get some reading done in quiet without getting distracted as I would at home. So it's nice to come here and hang out. I like how Starbucks mix things up. Their seasonal menu with cool drinks and new flavors for this summer look really good esp the horchata. Even though I wasn't adventurous enough this visit to try a new menu item, they look like they'll be pretty tasty. Service is good here, the baristas are attentive and pretty quick so even when there's a line it goes pretty fast. Overall, this is a nice neighborhood Starbucks. read more

This Starbucks is a pretty good coffee shop located at the corner of Pocket Rd. and Greenhaven Dr. near the I-5 Pocket Rd. exit. The atmosphere is perfect for people who want to sit back relax or maybe read a book while drinking their favorite coffee. It is in a quiet corner of the Pocket under the majestic redwoods and towering oak trees. Because of the old growth trees that have been here for decades, this place has the feel of being in a forest rather than in the paved plaza where it actually is. Certainly a charming place to hang out and relax. Even in the hot summer sun, this place is cool indoors, but with the patio on the side of the store on the east side, sitting outside the shop's front stoop, sipping your latte, feels more like being up in the lush mountains. And even though the intersection right where the store is next to is very busy, it is hard to notice as only one or two paces in seems to dull the street sounds. It is hard to understand how a quiet corner can be right in the middle of a bustling suburban area. I enjoy coming by with a book on a lazy afternoon and getting some reading in over a cup of hot cocoa in the winter or iced tea in warmer weather. The wifi is strong and the AC is sufficient even on the hottest summer days. The bathrooms are kept up and cleaned regularly. All in all, a nice "neighborhood" Starbucks even though it's not a mom and pop place and I try to support local as much as possible. read more

Stopped in for breakfast and a coffee but I had to try the gingerbread chai. It was good. I also ordered a egg pesto mozzarella sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually really good. I would definitely order it again. Staff were nice & I got my order quickly. Plenty of parking. Great location. This is right next to a Nugget. Excellent customer service and drinks! This is hands down my favorite Starbucks location in all of Sacramento and the Bay Area. There is plenty of indoor seating and parking. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The star of this review is Gabriel he greets every customer that enters, remembers our orders, and he is overall a delight. Located next to Nugget Grocery Store, and can't really complain much about this place. Staffs are friendly, usually order black coffee or short cappuccino. Today, I ordered Vanilla sweet cream nitro cold brew due to the hot Sacramento weather.. and it was good. The flavor of coffee isn't the best, but it will still do the trick in the morning or in the afternoon to boost my energy level. There are outside seatings available, and they don't keep it very clean. Sometimes I'd have to bring out napkins and clean the table myself. eh~ Overall, it's a Starbuck located at a convienant location. Parking lot gets crowded at peak hours. i love(d) this starbucks i work right next door i'm here everyday and get the same drink taylor andriana and her name starts with a V is always sooo nice and make my drinks perfectly. one day taylor seen me sitting outside waiting for my order and brought it out to me!! i always experienced great service until today, i ordered around 8:10 and got here around 830 and my drink wasn't ready i was letting adriana know and another (rude) barista interrupts and says she didn't see that name for an order but i just got charged and i'm currently showing adriana my receipt. i didn't get the name of the other barista but she wasn't nice at all she continued to make other drinks while adriana is trying to help me. then rude barista says they finally see my order and says they must've closed it out and she continues to make other drinks but mine! it got obviously awkward, adriana is asking her if she working on my drink and she straight up says no. adriana is was urgent to help and to make my drink and the the girl was sooo inconsiderate that i'm waiting longer than i should've or would've liked! once she finally is done making allllll other drinks , she makes my drink and says "here's you're remake" when it was NEVER made! remember you never seen an order for melissa??? how is that a remake and why point that out to me? that rubbed me the wrong way i buy something here everyday! i don't like that this girl assumed it was made after telling me she never seen my name for an order and never apologized to me for wasting my whole 15 min break for a drink i order 10-15 mins prior but again thank you adriana for being so nice. read more

Plenty of parking in the plaza. Indoor and outdoor seating. Some people in the outdoor seating area were noisy. At about half capacity in the late afternoon on a weekend, with no line. Clean interior. Hand sanitizer dispenser on the wall by the entrance. The staff do not wear masks. I placed a mobile order through the app, and it was ready by the time I arrived. The bacon, sausage, and egg wrap tasted good though it could have used a little more flavor. You can ask for sriracha. Not great price-wise but convenient. read more

This Starbucks is conveniently located right off of the freeway. What really impressed me about this location is that one time I placed a mobile order and selected the wrong store. Ugh! I get there and no coffee. The barista checks my phone and sees my error. In a very nice way they explained what I did wrong without making me feel like I was caffeine deprived. I've never been a fan of this location. The wait for your drink can be as long as 15-20 minutes, even when all you want is an iced coffee. On my latest visit, they were out of the cold brew so I was SOL. I was stuck getting a regular iced coffee. They even messed it up....so they had to pour coffee into another cup of ice. Located in Lakecrest shopping center next door to Nugget this is a fairly large store. Not only is there ample indoor seating there are a few small patio tables as well. This is a very busy store. Every time I have been here there has been at least four people in line and sometimes over ten! Although the store is consistently busy and the staff is not super fast or overly friendly they still put out a good cup of joe. If you don't mind a little wait this is a solid Starbucks to visit. read more

My favorite Starbucks in the area. I grew up around here so this is the one I have been coming to for years. Over time of course the staff has changed and I don't come here enough to know the people but they are always pretty nice. There is a lot of room to study. I can't study at a Starbucks because I get distracted but If you are the type that can you will enjoy the atmosphere here. For Starbucks Co. in general... I don't really like they way their coffee tastes but I am biased because I do not really like coffee all together. I think that they need more milk choices. I can't drink regular milk and soy milk has a lot of hormones in it (don't drink it people). I wish they had coconut milk or almond milk. I have also tried their hot chocolate. It tastes like what I imagine dirt tasting like. I am however a fan of their teas (1 venti green tea lemonade two extra pumps of classic light ice, please). Their chai tea latte is also a winner but you don't really get a caffeine boost from it. I also love their coffee mugs and tumbler cups. I highly suggest getting a tumblr for your daily water intake. I have a trenta one I just couldn't live with out. Wayyyyyyy better then a water bottle. Lastly, when I do get coffee I get a white chocolate mocha with two espresso shots. I will never understand why people are so obsessed with Starbucks BUT if you are and you live in Greenhave/Pocket you should enjoy your visit to this location. read more

Kudos to the upgrades in this Starbys. The layout is so much better for my Zen! ;) They moved those annoying bar tables next to the window and put regular tables and chairs. I thought it was a bit awkward. You use to have to order from the left and move right to pick up the order and now it's the total opposite which you would never think was a problem but the initial setup was. I also left a tip about placing mobile orders in hands reach which they did for awhile but no longer. At some point they even offered to pour coffee in regular ceramic cups if you were enjoying your morning tea/coffee in store. Honestly, nothing's permanent these days and I'm happy to see a Starbys try new things. It may not always stick but I appreciate the ideas which may actually improve the customer experience. This Starbucks is located in the Lakecrest Shopping Center next to the Nugget Market. They just recently remodeled which makes it look more spacious and updated. The seating area is adequate, clean and they have outside seating. There is also plenty of parking since it's located in a strip mall. I always order the Flat White and it's always been pretty consistent. This Starbucks is always very BUSY....so Highly recommend when ordering, download the Starbucks app and mobile order! read more

I have come to this Starbucks at least 3 times and every time, they make my order wrong. My order is a grande breve latte, no foam. Nothing special. The reason I order 'no foam' is because I always get breves with the majority of the cup being foam. The last time I ordered I had a half cup of foam once again. The barista said that was her second attempt and she couldn't get it. I'm fine with foam on the top, but a half cup of foam is a problem. I've known her since the beginning there and she has always been so awesome, friendly, positive but manages like a boss. Today when I went in 4.28.22 I got to see her in person for the first time in a long time and it made my day. I am constantly surprised at the number of patrons in this one location at any time of the day. That being said I'm also always disappointed with the level of cleanliness at this same location. Garbage cans are over stuffed, bathrooms are untidy and there are random prices of Devi's on the floor throughout. The staff seem pleasant and professional, but they don't maintain the public areas well. A new location has opened just up the street and I think I will be taking my business there. read more

This location is super busy, yet always seems to be understaffed. I'm usually waiting forever for my order. It's also very dirty. The lobby floor is super dirty & has sticky stuff all over. Whenever I watch them make my drinks, their work stations are really messy & has spilled drinks all over, unlike a lot of other locations I visit. They also seem to be out of items a lot; my last visit I couldn't even order decaf cause they were out. I will say the staff is friendly & the new remodel looks nice. I don't normally do these snooty reviews but today is my birthday and I didn't like how I was treated today. The cashier with the red hair talked to me like a robot and wasn't very friendly. I just wanted my free drink for my birthday. She tried to scan my Starbucks card and she said that it was saying that today wasn't my birthday. Hello...I know when I was born. I looked for my drink on the Mobile orders tray. I didn't see any drinks. But I saw plenty of drinks being put on the counter for other costumers. I finally got someone's attention by saying "excuse me" and I told the lady I had a mobile order. I thought maybe she would check around the Mobile orders tray or look around. But instead she just snapped at me and said that they only had one latte machine and that they were backed up. I said "ok sorry" then I waited patiently because they were really busy. Then I thought to myself I ordered a mocha do they use a latte machine to make mochas? So I just waited for a long time and it finally slowed down. I noticed there was one cup left near the mobiles order and I realized it had been sitting there the whole time. I took it and left because I was running late. My hot mocha was cold.
