New Dutch Bros in the Pocket area (Sac). Came today (9/23) on Grand Opening Day. About a quarter past 5am, there were about 10 cars in line for the drive thru. An employee was putting out a sign that the walk up window was also open. The standard drinks you can find/order at any location. I was excited to make it to my first Grand Opening, but unfortunately all they gave away at this location was a single sticker (in my case anyways)! Dutch Bros continues to take over and add more locations; it seems like they're contending with that other coffee chain in terms of their numbers in the Sac area! read more

Tucked away in the Pocket-Greenhaven area, this Dutch Bros Coffee is certainly worth checking out. It is hidden so make sure to look for it behind the business buildings. This drive thru has friendly service with broistas checking in on their customers. They answer customer questions such as helpful insights on sticker drops. I know this location is still "new", but it is by far the worst one. They never seem to be able to handle the amount of customers that all Dutch Bros get. I've been here a few times when in the area, but the cherry on top was Christmas. This is NOT a location that should have been open. If they cannot handle regular business hour rushes, being open on Christmas was just throwing them under the bus. Instead of closing the line 2 minutes before their closing time, the staff should have combined their brain power and closed it 30 minutes prior to closing time and cut the line at the entrance of the parking lot... not 2 minutes prior and right where the lanes split, causing some to have to reverse and leave the line. Total BS. There was also one employee (South Asian women) who was one that came out to close the lanes and yelling that she wanted to "go home" and that she was supposed to close the lines off "5 minutes ago." I'm sorry, but 5 minutes prior to closing would not have been enough either. The line was wrapped around to Greenhaven. If she is the manager, yikes! Corporate needs to check in on this location. I've also been to this location when they were 15 mins to closing time and they would not take my order because they wanted to "go home." Not a great start for this location. read more

I love Dutch Bros in general, but I think this specific location needs help with management. My wife and I were in a rush and only saw 2 cars in line with one of the employees taking the first car's order on a tablet, so we thought we can get a couple of drinks real quick. The employee taking orders left and went into the building with no communication to the next car. The 2nd car didn't seem to know what to do but eventually went up to the window to order. That order took about 5 minutes, no exaggeration! Since it was taking so long we did a mobile order thinking it would save time. After waiting another 5-10 mins for the car at the window to get their order, my wife got it and went up to the window to try to get our order from there. She was told they're still working on it even tho it was already past the time it said it would be ready. Then my wife noticed only two people were working and another employee standing in the background just looking at her phone the whole time (see pic). Not a good look for this establishment when customers have been waiting so long and the line is growing with no one apparently available to take orders ahead of time. Never thought we would experience such a lapse in service from Dutch Bros after years of excellent service. This happened on 12/19/2025 starting around 8:55am. read more
