I have frequented this Starbucks many times since it is so conveniently and centrally located at the Alamo Quarry Market :D ! I have also come by many times to order the Honey Citrus Mint Tea (also known as Starbucks' "medicine ball" drink) when I was feeling under the weather or when I was feeling sick and needed some vitamin C to boost my immune system :) ! The staff has always been extremely friendly, warm and courteous :) ! And they have always been prompt with both my mobile orders and my in-person orders :) ! For the most part, I have always been able to find a table when I wanted to stay in and enjoy my drink ;) ! Although there is also outdoor seating as well on days or during seasons when it's not too hot to sit outside :) ! I just recently ordered and tried the new Tropical Butterfly Lemonade Energy Refresher over the weekend :D ! And I absolutely loved it :D ! This might be my favorite Starbucks location in San Antonio! This Starbucks is located in the Quarry Village mall, right across from Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurant. There is plenty of parking space around the coffee shop and they even offer compact car parking right in front of their main entrance. This location offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is considerably large and it is covered which is a plus. Their indoor seating has some very comfy chairs and some of them are slightly taller which are perfect for all the tall people out there. They also have wheelchair friendly tables which I thought was really nice. When visiting please note their bar section is divided in three areas. The front part closer to the door is for mobile pickup only. The middle section is where the register is located and you can place an order, and the back section is to pick-up in person orders. I did noticed more than once person that placed a mobile order going to the back area to pick-up. read more

I go here to get my tea, I don't live close but I think it's worth the drive, I'm greeted with such friendly and welcoming vibes when I come in! The baristas are so sweet and nice, they also are the only Starbucks around to use glass pitchers for their teas. (Which is extremely important since the plastic pitchers seem to carry the other tea flavors no matter how hard you wash them.) It's been HELL going to other locations and they argue that the pitchers are washed and that's just how it's supposed to taste. Which is wildly infuriating, tea isn't supposed to taste like FRUIT when it's just black tea I get black tea without any water or ice so I can heavily taste if it has "passion tea" in it at all, which happens when the other flavors of tea leech to the pitcher during the steeping process or it just isn't rinsed out when emptied before brewing another tea bag. That doesn't happen with glass pitchers though. Other Starbucks need to step up to the plate and change their pitcher systems lol. Anisa is a great manager and that's a hill I'll die on lmao. She makes sure her location is running smoothly and that the customers are taken care of! ZERO STARS!!! Context: two of my employees, who didn't speak English (only Spanish), were discriminated at this Starbucks. They tried to order 8 caramel fraps AND even showed the Starbucks employee Gina(who took their order) an image as well. She proceeded to AUTOMATICALLY charge them 8 VENTI ice coffees, DIDN'T give them a receipt nor asked for his name either. Once their order was finished, the Starbucks employees didn't provide a cup holder nor a bag to store the 8 LARGE drinks. So they had to walk back to the restaurant(10 mins away) carrying WRONG order. That same night we called the manager at Starbucks asking for a FULL refund. She was incredibly unprofessional, didn't know how to handle the situation, and had the most difficult time trying to give back the full refund. As all of this was happening, Starbucks was doing a food trade with a near by resturant. They could give FREE food to other restaurants but not their customers. In addition, when the discriminatory/racist Starbucks employee Gina was asked about the situation, she didn't HESITATE to give the excuse of "using google translate" to communicate with my Spanish speaking employee... which was NOT TRUE. A very busy Starbucks located in the Quarry. Always filled with thirsty shopper. Most of the time there is a line but they service is very quick They can know t6hose beverages out like there is no tomorrow. The patio area is very nice but as it is located by an entrance off of Jones-Maltsburger so there is traffic noise. Then you have those special people who drive by with their car stereos as loud as they can get them and they are always nice enough to have their windows down to share their noise with anyone within a mile. This Starbucks is open until 1 am and that is nice if you need a late night coffee. I like stopping in here before or after a movie. This is one of my fav locations in SA. And the reason for that: the staff. The staff is always friendly, talkative and attentive. They do an excellent job keeping the "dining room" (I guess that's what you'd call it) clean and constantly turning tables ready for the next wave of folks. Even during peak times and facing lines of people, this location keeps it moving and churns out what the masses are there for, at impressive speeds. The coffee is what you've come to expect from Starbucks and I find this location more than capable at handling my customizations. (7-5-2022) After calling the store to clarify their location because the Maps app had sent me to inside the Whole Foods as the Quarry location, I walk in just after 8:45pm and proceed to meet a small young lady who apparently hates her job... but with a rage-filled bent. I ask for a Pour Over Dark Roast coffee. She's noticeably disturbed by my order and pretends she didn't hear me and asks me to repeat myself, so I do. One pour over with sweetener added, milk on the side and a cup of ice. While I'm waiting, I hear her making passive aggressive snide comments to another employee about having to make my drink and throwing things around loudly. I notice her put the milk in the drink, not on the side. But whatever, I just want to get my caffeine and go. When she calls me up to the counter, I politely let her know I needed a cup of ice, not the ice water she made me. She turns around and proceeds to take her day out on the ice bin, "breaking it up" so violently that she blows chunks of broken ice all the way back to the counter I'm waiting at and slams the metal ice bin lid so hard the employee down the line jumps and looks over at her concerned-like. I look at her stunned by her aggressive behavior. She sets down the cup of ice (with no lid), making no eye contact as she turns away to ask the other employee "what to do" with the ice water to pivot focus away from how unsubtle she just was. Another unlucky customer walks in as I'm leaving (9pm on the dot) - "We're closed!" The lady sweeping the floors in cat ears and the guy behind the counter were really polite. As for rage girl, maybe just look for a different job. I know from experience the service industry can be stressful, but if you're imagining the ice bin is your customer's face then this probably isn't the right place for you. People come to an expensive coffee shop during business hours to, you know, order coffee. If that's enough to set you off then you probably are in the wrong line of work. I didn't even use the ice incase a piece of that poor little plastic ice scoop was in it. Therapy or a punching bag may be a better alternative outlet, ma'am. read more

They don't show up for work, they don't know how to communicate, and they are possibly the most inconsiderate people I've ever met. I would like to give a very big thank you to Amanda at the Quarry Starbucks. I got my coffee and breakfast and she was very sweet to me at the register. Then, before I had even taken a sip and left the parking lot, it spilled all over my front seat. Every bit of my grande coffee. I returned back to Starbucks to order another one and spoke with Amanda again. She only charged the coffee as a refill and she put the cost on HER Starbucks app. I did not have to pay for my refill. I was not expecting this at all, and it was so greatly appreciated. As I waited for my coffee, Amanda brought out wipes to use to clean my car. It's a Saturday evening, you know there will be a crowd with people coming after shopping and movies. I ordered and paid by my phone app. Order was never made. I showed the employee standing around my phone order. You would think she would have looked into it. 20 minutes later on top of another 20 minutes, I went to ask for a refund. Warning my friends not to go there! Tables were dirty! Ladies restroom also dirty with no toilet paper. Customer service at the Alamo Quarry very questionable! Spoke to the lady at the counter, she had no idea how to fix this!
