I know a Jimmy Dean sandwich when I have one! I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese slider plus a picture perfect blended freeze (I know it's cold outside). Lol but I really just don't like hot drinks ... Nothing to write home about on the sandwich but the drink hit the spot! Espresso with a blend of mocha and caramel, topped with whipped cream. I ordered via the app and walked up to the pick up window. I was greeted immediately, my order was ready and I was on my way. It's late and had to charge my car. And we stopped by and got birthday cake and cotton candy shakes. Pleased they're open this late. I forgot the staff's name but she was sweet, it was late and the sizes of the shakes got switched but she realized and immediately made the correct sizes! I don't expect things perfect but always appreciate service recoveries with a smile! Still clean even when it's late! Perfect location! read more

California transplant here....first time at Dutch Brothers...mmmmmmm soooooo good! I approve! We tried the viral Strawberry Chai Horchata and it was sooooo good you'll never drink regular horchata- everrrrrrr I had to get my go to Green Tea and everyone kept telling me to try it with "soft top." Not sure what it is, maybe heavy whipping cream? Well it doesn't matter...because it was soooo gooooood! Definitely try it or ask them what they recommend and you won't be disappointed!! read more

So happy to have Dutch Bros Coffee in San Antonio! We were introduced to the hip coffee shop in Colorado where our family lives. We always indulge when we travel home. We were excited to see that San Antonio was getting a location; since that one opened, many more have popped up. This location is not far from our house, so we will frequent it often. On our first visit to this location, we came in the evening over a weekend, and there was a very short line. Outside in the drive-thru line, two young staff members took orders on their remote system. They greeted us very kindly and were able to answer all of our questions. I ordered a sugar-free Hazelnut Truffle Mocha, which is one of their seasonal drinks, and my husband ordered a Candy Cane Mocha, another seasonal drink. The staff member informed us that the Candy Cane can also be made sugar-free. I was thrilled as I am watching my sugar intake, and I feel like I can indulge here since many of their syrups are available in a sugar-free offering. I don't taste a difference, so I'll go sugar-free when I can. The line move quickly, and we were soon at the pick-up window. The staff member at the window greeted us enthusiastically, as Dutch Bros. members do. We had a short wait, so the staff member kept us busy with many questions and comments about our holidays. I appreciate the positive attitude, but we're also okay with silence. :-) Just know that Dutch Bros is known for their bright smiles, chatty commentary, and laid-back vibe. We like it, usually. Soon we had our cups of mocha and were on our way. Delicious drinks and happy attitudes. Who could complain about that? We'll be back...a lot. read more

Update! It appears like they have new staff here. I'm a frequent costumer now and I'm so happy that this store location made a huge improvement. So if you're an extrovert who enjoys positivity and conversation vomited on you this is a great place for you!! I don't know what they are drinking in their coffees back there but they're excitement to see me was frightening and I'm an extrovert! All that to say I loved it! I will say their drinks are wayyyyyy tooooo sweet and I immediately go into a coma if I don't get half sweet or even 1/4 sweet! I'm not ready for diabetes and they are serving it in a cup! read more

For the longest time I said I did not like Dutch bros. I'm not sure what happened or when, but now I crave it!! I think I just needed to try a drink that was right for me. It's so nice that you can ask for half sweet, quarter sweet, etc. Every time I visit, the lines run smooth and quickly and every worker is so nice! Will be back endless times. Just wasted my points for a free drink. I ordered a large hot chai and for the second time at this location it tasted like plain hot milk. I don't understand why it's never consistent. The Potranco location makes hot chai drinks actually taste like chai. The staff is friendly, I will say that. But this business of asking for a tip BEFORE you get your drink is ridiculous. I'm so glad I didn't add a tip for this lousy drink! Never ordering a chai from this location again. read more

The atmosphere, albeit it's in your own vehicle for the most part, is amazing with the way the staff just engages with you. I think I've heard that it's a part or their training to do so, but that's a training tactic that's missed by most establishments. Now, to the good stuff. They do rival Starbucks in every way. The key be the aforementioned staff, but even more so with their products. I have tried many so far from here but the best (for me) had to be their Caramelizet Freeze and their Americano (yes I'm basic lol). read more

Pleasant personnel. I ordered a Nitro Cold Brew as it is a personal favorite of mine for a decade or more. The plastic cup of Nitro Cold Brew was handed to me full of ice. Nitro Cold Brew does not come with ice ever. Nitro cold brew is typically served chilled, as ice damages the foamy top. This completely destroys the entire concept of "Nitro" (adding nitrogen into the coffee to get a smooth creamy texture). Nobody adds ice to a Nitro drink ever.
