This review is for the awesome barista in the starbucks target, his name is Matt. He was so funny and very nice, especially so early in the morning. Definitely perked (pun intended) my morning up. He deserves a raise for making people happy. Thanks Matt!

Cool Starbucks located inside of Target. Target use to have a snack bar here where they would sell: hot dogs, pretzels, nachos, popcorn, churros, and many other things. Starbucks is a welcome addition though. Unlike other standard Starbucks usually are, this one is not crowded at all. There is ample parking and seating, so it should be a great place for studying. I don't remember checking to see if this Starbucks has free WiFi, but you can definitely use Target's free WiFi. At this time they are offering a Frappuccino Happy Hour: 3pm - 5pm, from May 3rd - 15th where you get half off on any Frappuccino! If you have a Target Red Card, you can save a little more! They brought back the S'mores Frapp and have a new flavor Caramel Waffle Cone. Both are pretty good! 4 / 5 - Frapps 4 / 5 - Service 4 / 5 - Cleanliness 4 / 5 - Overall

This is a new Starbucks located inside Target. The last time I came here, it was a food court where they sold hot dogs, popcorn and drinks. It's been revamped as a Starbucks. I don't know when the change happened but I'm glad it did. As we walked in, my daughter and I were thirsty and as usual she wanted a cake pop. Selection of dessert items were scarce. I ordered a venti mango black iced tea shaken. I got my daughter an apple juice and a birthday cake pop. The lady taking my order was nice. I ended up paying with my Target master card. Service was fairly quick and the lady was the only one making drinks, so there was a slight wait. Once we got our drinks and cake pop, we sat down at a table where there were outlets to charge my cell phone. It takes the wires. Luckily I had mine with me. Cool place to chill. My mango iced tea was good. My daughter scarfed down her cake pop and drank her apple juice. There were customers just hanging out relaxing. I still miss this place being a food court but so glad it's a Starbucks.

This location recently opened up inside the Target store. When I stopped in to the Target store to grab some items, Starbucks is located right at the entrance of the store to the right hand side. Where the Target Cafe previously was located. They are still relatively new. I believe the barista told me that they have been open a week. Which is entirely possible since they can accept your Starbucks registered card and let you pay with your phone app. However this location is not set up the let you redeem rewards yet. I am sure that this will be an option in the future. It is remodeled and looks sleek compared to the Target Cafe that was in the store before. There were still boxes on the floor and the Starbucks was still setting things up, However they will were still grinding and brewing up the coffee. YAY!! My barista was still learning the cash register...and how to make drinks my PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte was not quite up to par, it was heavy on the Pumpkin Spice Syrup) I am looking forward to the convenience of yet another Starbucks in my life!

    Almond milk! Yay!

Many of the drinks are themed around computer programming with names like "C++" and "Debugger". The whimsical nature of the naming is rather appealing and cute. The atmosphere here is casual and relaxed which is perfect for those needing a chill place to study or kick back. Service was quick and efficient. The staff members also were friendly and positive in mood. I ordered their batch brew coffee which was illustrated as using Guatemala beans that provided "chocolate, nutty, caramel, and citrusy" notes. I didn't quite taste the first three aforementioned notes, but the citrusy, sour note was there along with bitter notes. I've been here before and I much prefer their lattes such as the Troubleshooter and Debugger. Those are exceptionally enjoyable drinks to me. I would rate the batch brew a 3/5 but I'd rate the two aforementioned lattes around a 4.5/5. Overall, it's best to enjoy the specialty drinks here and inundate yourself with sweet caffeine to focus on studying for your upcoming test or completing your project that's about to be due.

Wait outside on the sidewalk (no exterior seating) and someone will come to take you inside. Do not ring the door bell. The theme is to take it slow. Each customer typically waits 20-30 minutes to enter as part of how they do things, even if there is open seating inside. Not sure if they use a timer to space entries but it seems consistent. They take one group in at a time. Interior: A few tables around the wall and then bar seating. Would not recommend for parties greater than 2, there just isn't the space. They welcome service animals, babies/children and strollers from what I observed. The music was very, very loud. It was difficult to hold a conversation. I did not see a bathroom. Ordering process: After seating you wait for a little bit for them to bring small water cups and a QR menu with a table number and a set of rules. They do not have a physical menu, you must use your phone to order. Cell phone reception was dicey and took a long time to load. They have an interesting concept where you have a digital 'tab' open on their toast website. Unfortunately you must provide your full name, email and phone number. They have pour over drinks (note these can take 15-20 minutes), matcha, Hojicha and others. You may only order one drink per person at a time. They have a small snack menu with rotating foods. They use oat milk only. No substitutions allowed. After mobile ordering, drinks take 20-30 minutes as part of their take it slow vibe. Matcha $8 is from Paru tea and was very good. Hojicha $8 was too milky and didn't have a strong enough flavor. When you are done you walk to the register by the door and wait to be checked out. If they are making a drink you wait until they are finished. I wasn't really a fan. Staff were brusque. Music was too loud to converse.

We walked into a modern space with a clean, inviting layout that makes it easy to stop by for a quick pastry or pick up a few things to share. The selection is one of the biggest draws, with everything from classic Japanese breads to savory items that make it feel like more than just a dessert stop. The display cases are well organized, and the visual appeal of the baked goods adds to the experience before you even order. The pastries are where ASA Bakery really stands out. The curry pan is one of the highlights, with a crisp exterior and a savory filling that makes it a satisfying snack rather than just a bakery item. The croissants are also worth trying, especially the matcha croissant, which has a buttery flaky texture with a matcha filling that adds a slightly earthy flavor without becoming overly sweet. The matcha comes through clearly, and the croissant itself is well laminated, with the right amount of crispness on the outside and a soft, airy interior. The melon pan is another classic option that delivers the soft bread interior and lightly sweet cookie-like topping that makes it a staple in Japanese bakeries, staying true to the traditional version while feeling freshly made. The savory menu adds another reason to visit, especially the katsu sandos. The cutlet sandwiches have a nice balance between the crispy fried filling and the soft bread, making them one of the more memorable items on the menu. The bread stays soft and pillowy, and the cutlet holds its crunch even against the sauce, which is a detail that often gets overlooked. Items like the hojicha latte and other drinks pair naturally with the pastries, making ASA Bakery feel like a place where you can sit down and enjoy a full café break rather than just grab something quickly. The drink menu is thoughtfully curated and complements the baked goods without competing for attention. Service is friendly and the bakery has a welcoming atmosphere, although popular items can sell out depending on when you visit. The staff are knowledgeable about the offerings and happy to guide you through the selection, which is helpful given the range of choices. The shop gets busy, especially during peak hours, so going earlier gives you the best chance to see the full selection. The pace of the visit stays comfortable even when the line forms, and the team handles the flow efficiently. ASA Bakery is a great spot for anyone looking for Japanese-style baked goods with a mix of sweet and savory options. The combination of quality pastries, unique flavors, and a comfortable café setting makes it a place worth returning to, whether you are picking up a quick snack or settling in for a longer break. It delivers on both the familiar classics and the more creative offerings, leaving you with the sense that you have found a bakery that takes its craft seriously.

Every time I visit, I make sure to get one fresh out of the oven. It's incredibly creamy, melts in your mouth, and has the perfect level of sweetness without being overly sweet. My second favorite is the Chocolate Boba Egg Tart. The chocolate and boba complement the egg tart really well. The crunchy little boba balls aren't too sticky, and the sweetness is nicely balanced. The Espresso Egg Tart comes in third. It has a smooth, mellow coffee flavor that's not overpowering and pairs well with the creamy custard. As for the Dubai Chocolate Egg Tart, it's very crunchy and not overly sweet. However, the chocolate layers were so chunky that I couldn't really taste much of the egg tart itself. The Ube Cheese Egg Tart was creamy, soft, and gooey with a strong ube (sweet potato-like) flavor. While it was enjoyable, I couldn't really taste much of the cheese.
