Love their coffee! I even bought their roasted beans to make it at home, but somehow it always tastes better at the store. Their pastries are delicious, and the staff--especially the young gentleman at the register--are very friendly. It's impossible for me to go to the mall without stopping for their coffee. read more

I was picking something up at fashion valley management office and asked what the favorite coffee spots were in the mall. They made 2 suggestions and this was one of them. I hadn't been to a Nordstrom's cafe in years so I opted for this spot. When I arrived there was only one person ahead of me it's very small so it seems only one or two people can fit in line inside. I just ordered a latte. The man at the counter made sure I wanted caffeine vs decaf which was thoughtful. I'm a full caff person most of the time and today was no exception as I had a long day of activities I needed to accomplish. My order came up quick and I took it outside to the set up that had various sugars and cream. I added a raw sugar packet and found a seat. I took a sip and it tasted good, the temperature was perfect. It was between storms so I sat outside for a while, enjoyed my coffee and people watched. There were several people working on their computers. I would definitely come back again next time I'm here for my caffeine fix. read more

Everytime I come to the mall I would always park by Nordstrom and see this place have a huge line. I told myself I would try it one day but I figured mall coffee couldn't be that good, or could it be? The answer is No. Staff was cool and friendly, interior was clean and had lots of nice snacks, treats, and take out options. I ordered an iced latte and what I got was an iced milk. Literally there wasn't any coffee, it was soo faint it felt like I was drinking iced milk. It wasn't terrible but just very disappointing especially always seeing a line outside. Idk if their espresso was weak or if they don't put the right amount but it wasn't good. Thank you Ebar for the experience tho I hope next time I try something different! read more

Just an update here on their chicken breast, Swiss cheese basil sandwich. It still is good. Unfortunately HALF the sandwich and the same price $10. Their muffins have also gone up a dollar. Total cost was $19 with the coffee and muffin. That's just ridiculous! They still have great coffee drinks. read more

Recently ordered an eggnog chai latte here at the end of a trip at the mall. They didn't ask me for a size but what I got appeared to be equivalent to a "grande" or medium size. Was surprised that it was $7, not including optional tip. Eggnog flavor was good although it was a bit on the sweeter side. There was minimal chai flavoring so it kind of just tasted like an eggnog steamer. Although it is pricy, I appreciate that they offer eggnog as a holiday flavor considering Starbucks' eggnog is now made from a powder. No wait to order towards the end of the night around 8PM on a Saturday. read more

After working for Nordstrom so long I always loved going to the e-bar so now, it's just a little treat before some shopping. Everyone is always so friendly, oftentimes they won't have the magic bars out on display but they're usually in the back and they've grabbed some for us which is so nice. I usually get their Royal cookie which has coconut, macadamia nut and chocolate chip, ugh the best cookie out there and their orange pineapple spritz is so refreshing. During the Fall theirs is the only pumpkin spice latte I'll drink, they add white chocolate to it so it's perfect. I know they're a little pricier then other coffee spots in the mall but it's so worth it! read more

Every time I'm in fashion valley we stop here for coffee! The quality of their coffee is phenomenal! They have more options besides coffee! They have smoothies too and juices! I love the vanilla iced coffee with almond milk! And it's so yummy! Today in particular I got that and mom got the vanilla latte with whipped cream! And a croissant! It's super delicious! One of my absolutely fav is the royal cookie! It's very tasty! Have chocolate and nuts! The service is always good! They make you feel welcome! And the ambiance great! Ebar Artisan coffee is a nice coffee shop in Fashion Valley Shopping Center. It is nice to have a cup of coffee / Tea or any drink of your choice while you shop around. I ordered Hot Caramel Macchiato. I was just craving it. Their Macchiato is perfect! Not too sweet which I prefer. I replaced milk with soy milk which is my favorite. The Barista was nice and friendly. It's really a nice coffee shop. read more

Food: 4.5/5 Service and Setting: 3.5/5 Value: 3/5 Gosh, this exact Ebar has been here forever and I remember going to it as a child, but as I grew up, I just stopped coming. If you park in the best parking spot in Fashion Valley (the one right across Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus) and walk into the mall, it won't be uncommon to see a whole line of mall employees trying to get their caffeine fix. My visit today had no line fortunately. The barista was super nice and when they ran out of a specific syrup, instead of cutting corners, got a new one from the back. Service was fast and smooth. The overall interior is pretty dated and gives Cheesecake Factory vibes, but I'll give it a pass. Blood Orange Spritzer: 4.5/5 As a sparkling drink fanatic, I honestly was not expecting much. This drink is awesome. It reminds me of a bumped up version of San Pellegrino Blood Orange sparkling water. A little sweeter, a little sourer, and just as bubbly. The orange flavor tastes natural and dare I say, sophisticated, with a strong tangy backbone making this drink intensely refreshing! Highly recommend. read more

I actually absolutely love this place, but I'm giving it one star so that hopefully management will read the review. I specifically would come to the mall to go to Nordstrom Ebar to get their cherry bomb - which was the most unique and amazing dessert I've ever had. And now they've decided they're not going to carry the vendor anymore... Only in-house made things. Worst news ever!! The poor sales people had to cushion my disappointment when they told me.. and they said SO many people have had that same disappointment. I found out the company that makes the cherry bomb dessert is out of LA and called cake monkey. I'm literally considering a trip to LA to go there because everything they make is incredible.. Nordstrom Cafe customer service... Or whoever reads this and makes decisions - please bring back the cherry bomb. read more

Probably one of the reasons they have such a humongous shoe department today. When you're shopping at Nordstrom & your energy level gets low, head to Nordstrom's Ebar. Ebar is one of several places in the Fashion Valley Mall to get your caffeine jolt. You can relax al fresco with the beautiful people at one of the many tables in a beautiful setting filled with stunning greenery & flowers. There are always espresso drinks, smoothies, locally-made packaged pastries, even little sandwiches (pre-made) & salads, presented much like Starbucks. Great coffee is back, probably due to staff changes. The bad news is that they no longer carry the incredibly delicious pastries and muffins from Bread & Cie, which was one of the best reasons to go for a coffee there! What they offer now is very unattractive. We'll drive the extra 5 minutes to Hillcrest's fantastic Bread & Cie instead. read more

The review is for attitude and service not the product. I arrived yesterday after 9 am. I was on a phone call as I walked up there were two customers with coffee inside. It wasn't completely lit but the doors were unlocked and someone at the cash register and customers with ebar coffee cups exiting as I passed to enter the front door. I started to open the front door and a blonde woman immediately said we are closed and waved her hands up at the lights which were off. It was after 9 am on a Thursday, you had already served two customers coffee, the doors were unlocked, you had someone at the register. Looked open to me. Not a very pleasant experience. read more

hands down, the ebar at nordstroms fashion valley has by far the best artisan roasted coffee i have ever tasted. rich and robust the coffee lends itself to any time of day for a satisfying pick me up as well as a beautiful assortment of specialty drinks and teas! for a full experience i add a flaky croissant and a freshly made salad from their refrigerator selection. the baristas emily, monica, sierra just to name a few are friendly, professional, and amazing providing the most excellent service with efficiency and a smile. there is plenty of leg room for the nordstroms patrons on the patio right outside the doors of the store to relax and enjoy a most gratifying experience! my hats off to the ebar and its incredibly wonderful staff! charles mark combs read more

When I'm not in the mood for Better Buzzed, I decide to go to the Nordie's Ebar. The Ebar is convenient because unlike Better Buzzed, there are salads and little "bistro boxes" and such in addition to the pastries they serve. Luckily whether there be a long line out the door or not, this place tends to be quick. The people who work here are straight to the point, but customer service isn't the reason I go here. Although the last time I went to get a strawberry lemonade, a woman had been waiting for her order for a while and looked annoyed at the three males that were loud and obnoxious and didn't acknowledge her. I felt her pain. It's not the most amazing place to get coffee or drinks, especially at the price you have to pay, but I guess you're paying for the brand. read more

Small yet very convenient cafe located just outside of Nordstroms and across from Neiman Marcus. Service is quick and the pastries and espresso drinks are delicious. Very inexpensive if you compare it to the prices of a mega coffee chain also located in the mall. In my opinion, the coffee here is bolder and more to my liking. Some of my favorites are double espresso, pomegranate iced tea unsweetened and the cold brewed orange twist. read more

How have I missed this place! I guess it was the non-stop line that always seemed to flow from this place that forced me to avoid it, but I finally found it empty early one morning and stopped in. I was blown away! The variety of very healthy snacks and lunches blew me away. The friendliness of the staff and decent prices were quite a delightful surprise. Somehow I always end up in here when I shop at Nordstrom. I get hungry and thirsty when I shop. I usually need either coffee or champagne. They have a full service cafe complete with healthy entree options galore. I could of ordered anything from a salad, to pizza to pasta, sandwiches, or ahi. On this trip, I had champagne and a salad. Good quick place to get coffee, tea, or a snack. I got a mint chocolate chip ice storm, which is a blended ice drink. Overall it was alright, but it wasn't blended well enough since the chocolate chunks were sometimes difficult to get through the straw. It has a minty flavor but not too strong, but the whipped cream is not that great tbh. read more

They're the nicest people. I always spend my lunch break here and I get their amazing food options. Their food options are great if you're looking for something not unhealthy (I hate the food court in FV), and instead i buy their food and I'm satisfied. Their baristas are all so nice and friendly. Their manager rang me up once and she was the sweetest person and just really made my hard day so much better. They always welcome all their customers, and it's just a great atmosphere to be around. Lots of seating options outside of the area. 100% recommended. It's my everyday routine coming here for my break. read more

Been here before review is overdue. Ebar is my fave cafe. Their sandwiches is way better than Starbucks. My chicken basil Sammie was on point very delish. I like to get my morning Java here before shopping at Fashion valley mall. Mexican mocha is always my fave. My daughter ordered the Chai Latte. It was super good. They have large selection of sandwiches, salads, pastries etc. Friendly CS and nice patio/outside seatings. They're next to Nordstrom Dept store. Would definitely coming back here every weekend or everyday if I work in this area. Highly recommended. read more

Now I know why the line's so long all the time! I was going by one morning when there was actually nobody there, so I stopped in. The coffee's really good. And you have your choice of almond, soy, coconut or regular milk (nonfat, etc, that is). I got an almond milk latte. It foamed up nicely. I don't think the baristas had made an almond milk one before because they both commented on it. read more

I love love the e bar. Unfortunately the other day I went I believe right when they opened and ordered a bagel and a ginger peach and other things. My bagel was a bit too toasted for my liking (burnt) and my tea was very watery. I'm sure it was just an off day because I never have this experience there + the tea could be in part my fault since they didn't have it made and since I was waiting I'm assuming the person was trying to hurry up. Anyways not the best experience that day but hoping it was just an off day. read more

They offer $7 draft beers, $9 wine, $10 mimosas, plus a handful of bites for $9. We started with the Fried Calamari Tentacles from the US Hour menu. They're served with Japanese mayo, although it tasted like there was some citrus mixed in because it had a nice tangy kick. Whatever it was, it worked really well with the crispy calamari. To drink, I ordered the Yuzu Matcha Mimosa. It had a really vibrant green color that almost reminded me of green juice. I actually enjoyed it. The matcha flavor came through without getting lost. My friend wasn't the biggest fan because they thought it leaned a little too bitter, so I think this one depends on how much you already enjoy matcha. For my entree, I ordered the Duck and Waffles ($24), which comes with crispy duck confit, a waffle, passionfruit guava sauce, and chili crunch. This was easily the highlight of the meal. The duck was cooked perfectly. It was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned just enough to let the meat shine. I also appreciated that the chili crunch actually had some heat instead of just being there for texture. The waffle was light and fluffy. I'm a sucker for sweet and savory combinations, so the powdered sugar paired with the rich duck was enough to win me over. The passionfruit guava sauce was the only part I wasn't completely sold on. It wasn't bad by any means. I just think it's one of those flavors that comes down to personal preference. This ended up being one of those meals that reminded me why I keep a running list of places I want to try. Great food. Great service. A fun happy hour that I accidentally stumbled into. What a bad costumer service!!! Well I'm giving this place one star just because one of the employees that ruins everything. she's just not nice, making faces when you order and it's just not nice to order or get any service from her. I'm quit often at the e bar, at list 4 times a week and every time she's acting the same way! I asked for her name. Olivia is her name! Oh my god so bitchy!
