I love Coffee Bean almost wherever I go. Unfortunately, this location was a let down. When I arrived on time to pick up my order, I was confronted more than greeted, told they were closed (there was still another half hour in my pick up window), and instructed to wait there at the door. Really an inauspicious start. Maybe some unforeseen mishap had occurred and the staff was frazzled? Just can't explain it. My order included a packaged cinnamon roll (yummy after hearing at home in the air fryer) and dairy free coconut yogurt with berries (not a low call food by any means. Delicious, but not much food for is whopping 330 calories). I don't think I'll be visiting this location again. read more

Absolutely love their blended coffees. I have tried blended coffee at other shops and theirs is always my favorite. Also enjoyed the egg white bites, they were flavorful and hit the spot. The staff was nice. The ambiance is casual with lots of small tables. read more

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is like the "In & Out" of coffee in SoCal. I love this location because the staff is amazing! There is always a line and these guys pound through it while taking care of customers coming through the Drive-thru. And super polite with a smile - opposed to those trapped baristas at that other place that has a mermaid mascot. Ample seating inside and parking outside. I think this is the OG spot for coffee. The drinks are always delicious, flavorful, and consistently good. I finally tried their Dry iced americano. I have to say it lived up to the hype creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. They also offer protein lattes now, and my go-to is the iced vanilla protein latte with oat milk and sugar-free I get it on the daily. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The dining area is very spacious and they have an outside one too. I do like that they have a drive thru which is great when you're on the go. read more

The white chocolate flavor is very prominent and the coffee wasn't strong enough. I might order less sweet or an extra shot next time. The small size is pretty small and it's only 30 cents more to upgrade to the next size. Super spacious and clean interior with tons of seating! Seems like a good place to study or chill. I was attempting to pay for coffee with a card and the reader at the cash register was faulty. The screen read to remove the card, and when I touched my card to remove it, the system would cancel the transaction. The person at the register meant well, but suggested that the problem could either be the reader or that I might not have money on my card. I found that offensive. I realize many might have that issue, but the problem was the reader, not my funds. We addressed it by tapping the card instead of inserting it. However, the management here needs to train young employees how to be respectful and maintain working equipment. The young man didn't intend to offend, but he did. I won't be back. read more

Had some time to kill and decided to venture up here and try a coffee. I was surprised to see a drive thru, and it was unexpected as I mostly expected inside only. I saw the sign for a new limited time drink, and opted to try it even though I had my heart set on trying their powder vanilla nonfat latte. In any event, there was about 4 cars ahead of me, and the line went super quickly until I rolled up. Upon paying, I finished listening to the morning segment and one full song before my drink was handed to me and I watched as the line behind me formed. That kind of killed it for me. The staff was friendly and did apologize for the wait. Luckily, today I didnt mind but it would be different if I was in a hurry - as I am not sure what their drive thru times are typically like in the mornings. Mind you it was around 8:20am ish. The drive thru goes along a small outside patio with chairs and lattice to give you some privacy from the cars, it looked cute. Not sure about the ambience inside, but this location looked on the bigger side- from outside looking in. There are signs for their rewards program, offers delivery through third party apps, or order for pickup as well. The drink. I didnt reallllly taste too much of the salted sea caramel flavor. Not sure if I would order that again, it was creamy more on the thicker side. The pricing is relatively higher than Starbucks coffee items of the same size. I did notice on the menu provided on yelp, there are breakfast items to choose from. I think for now, I will stick with Starbucks. read more

There is also parking out front which is great. However, the food and drink can be mediocre at times, it depends on how the barista makes it. I loveeee this coffee bean. It's so spacious inside with plenty of seating and outlets which is perfect for studying or even just enjoying a nice book. I feel like the temperature inside reflects the temperature outside. Meaning that if it's warm outside, that the inside is warm too. Which is kind of nice cuz I hate when it's super hot out and I go to a coffee shop and it gets so cold that I need a jacket and I end up ordering the hottest drink on the menu. The lines aren't long and it's convenient that there is a drive thru available. Keep in mind, once you go through it tho that you'll end up on Governor so if you still want to do errands in this plaza, make coffe bean your last errand if you're planning on using the drive thru. Service here is prompt and quick. They're also very nice when it comes to adjusting/remaking drinks. The barista was willing to answer all my questions (which I always appreciate) and walked me through their different options. I went with two expresso shots over ice sweetened with honey and it was pretty good. The only stroke for me was no agave. I've come to love agave as sweetener and that's the only reason why I went with the four stars. I was happy that they had Oatly as their oat milk choice. That's my favorite. I came here on a Sunday morning to do some work and I had an amazing experience! I have never been to a coffee bean before and after my time here, I'd definitely recommend this place over Starbucks or another coffee/boba shop IF you are looking for a place where the blender is not going off every 2 seconds. The folks who came here came for coffee, not some frappe bonanza or smoothie of some sort. So for someone like me who wanted just some background chatter/music with the occasional blender going off, this was perfect. Not a single blender went off. Chatter was limited. Music was at a good volume. The wifi is easy to connect. There are ample amounts of seating space whether you are looking for a table or booth style. There's outlets everywhere. I also ordered a regular iced matcha latte and it was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be ordering that again from here and look forward to enjoying my mornings of work while enjoying the space and company of those at Coffee Bean. read more

I went through the drive thru at 8am this morning, before a meeting, for my regular dark chocolate iced latte and after dealing with attitude from the window cashier about not having a mask, I was given a drink that didn't at all taste like it had espresso and was 3/4 filled with ice (though I asked for light ice). I went back to the store after my meeting and they unapologetically made another and requested that I throw away the drink that was in my hand. While I wasn't going to be the one to drink the espresso-less latte, I found the request to be incredibly wasteful and almost rude, as if I was trying to pull one over on them?! Like I wanted to sit through an hour meeting without coffee, just to bring it back an hour later?! As a college student, I'm always looking for new places to study. This is a great edition to my list of coffee shops and cafes to visit! There is so much space here and many outlets for people to use. It can get busy during peak hours, but it's still pretty easy to find a spot. The drinks are pretty standard coffee drinks. We ordered a Caramel Frap and it tasted exactly like a fresh churro. It was pretty good and it tasted a lot different from other fraps from other coffee shops. This is now going to be one of my new favorite places to study. Although the wifi can get slow, the open space and the number of outlets definitely makes me want to come back. read more
