Iced hazelnut shaken espresso(signature espresso)

I started to come to this location on my morning walks, and I order the same drink just about everyday, and there is a barista named Serena who makes it, literally, THE BEST. Idk how but it just tastes better when she makes it, lol. She is always super friendly as well, sometimes I have my pup and she is super considerate of him and offers either water or a pup cup. The location always looks good but this review is for her skills and friendliness!! Thank you Serena!

Mocha cookie crumble Frappuccino blended beverage

Hi I got a mocha cookie crumble Frappuccino blended beverage it's not bad but it's still good but not my type so this is my review

I always come here and have never had an issue until today. After seeing a video go viral about how a vent size without ice is basically a tall, I decided to order a tall size. Look at the picture I posted. It's not even filled to the top. I only come to Starbucks because it's the closest thing to my job and after today, I will not be going. If I pay for a drink, I expect it to be FULL

i ordered a hot grande upside down oat milk caramel latte, half caf ristretto pull. madeline made it exactly how i asked

i'm not sure why this location has so many negative reviews. i've been a couple of times this year and the staff is always friendly, funny, helpful, cheerful, and energetic. they take covid precautions seriously and they look like they have a good time. it looks like they're maneuvering well despite the current circumstances in these unprecedented times. the last time i was there i ordered at the door, they were all wearing masks, greeted me kindly, made my drink exactly how i asked, and were cleaning the service area in-between customer interactions. they had hand sanitizer available for customers to use, the menu was readable, and i felt comfortable. the cashier even took the time to combine my gift cards - i didn't even know that was an option. of course i had to wait a little while for my drink since i don't use the mobile app to order. the biggest concern i have is with the other customers not wearing their masks nearby the store and to pick up their drinks, but there isn't a mandatory mask mandate so there's nothing that i or the employees can do there. all coffee shops are in the service and industry and they're doing the best they can to serve their customers. in my opinion, some people just need to be a little more patient and understanding.

Bad service: not making eye contact when I ordered my drinks. The pink drink was the worst, and the latte was the lightest I've ever had!

We got the banana matcha and honeydew latte. The banana matcha was really good and not overly sweet and I like how they put the muddled banana at the bottom it gives it a good texture. The honeydew coffee was really good and gives it a good sweet honeydew flavor coffee. We both got the breakfast sandwich and got a frie and soup on the side. All of the foods were really good. Ask for sauces when you order as they do charge but the sauces are really good too!

They use a syrup that was not mixed it, it was settled about half a centimeter at the bottom. The flavor of the banana tasted like a medicinal/chemically banana similar to that of a vintage banana laffy taffy. Matcha quality was decent but for $8, there are much better quality options in the South Bay for the same high price. I also ordered the house margherita pizza, more emphasis on the house rather than the margherita since it was very much their own rendition with arugula, diced tomatoes, and would looked to be shredded cheese. It wasnt bad but also wasn't special. It's moreso caprese pizza sans vinegar, which honestly might be a good addition. The inside is also very cold, and I know it wasn't just me because I heard a couple other tables around me noting the same thing. If you're coming here to work for a while, bring a jacket. Overall, decent but not great for the price you pay.

You can get it more or less sweet, but I did the normal sweetness and it was perfect. My friend got an egg cream latte with less sweetness and she wished she got normal sweetness. The phin croffle was nice and crispy, and you can choose a cream to go with it. I got the salted cream and it was the perfect choice. I went on a Saturday morning and there were many people chatting and/or working on their laptops. I think it could be a good place to get some work done when it's not too busy. There are a decent amount of chairs and tables. I was able to find a spot to sit and chat with my friend. Overall, I would definitely go again for a coffee and to work or hang out.

Phin Cafe is a solid cafe for meeting up with friends over yummy drinks. I've tried both their…read morematcha and coffee, and I would say I prefer the matcha over the coffee in terms of taste. Their drinks are on the thicker side. The ambiance of the cafe is great. At 10am on a Saturday, there were still enough seats to sit with a friend or get some work done on a computer. I recommend the banana matcha. I also recommend full sweetness. Since they specialize in Vietnamese coffee/style of drinks, full sweetness will give you the best flavor. I tried less sweet on the egg cream coffee, and without sweetness, the egg cream lacked flavor. In terms of drinks, I wouldn't say they have the best Vietnamese coffee/matcha in the area, but they're pretty solid. Overall, this cafe was nice to experience! Parking can be a little bit tricky on weekends, but there's street parking right outside of the parking complex if needed. It's also located near the Pruneyard, which is lovely if you're looking to grab lunch of go shopping afterwards.

As a longtime Philz customer, I'm pretty boring and always get the Mint Mojito, light-sweet & creamy with oat milk + a plant powered sandwich. I ordered two drinks, a burrito and a jalapeño bagel. There was 1 person in front of me in line. Waited 20 minutes for my order to be ready. The order was all correct except they gave me an everything bagel instead. Maybe this is my bad for phrasing it this way but I said " I meant to order a jalapeño bagel ". I should have said "this is wrong, I ordered a different bagel." Regardless the woman on the food station looked at me and argumentatively said "well I'll have to talk to my manager about that".... Like okay sure? She proceeds to have (what felt like a 5 min) whisper convo with her manager and when I went over to where they were, they stopped talking. She walked me back over to the register and said "you'll have to order a new bagel and then we'll have to refund you the old one" as if it was a huge ordeal. I complete that with who I assume is the manager who didn't say much to me and then the initial woman puts the bagel on the counter without even looking at me. I said "thank you!" And was completely ignored. 2 things. 1, I worked as a barista in multiple locations including Starbucks. We were always trained to be on the lookout if someone is unsatisfied or an order was wrong. We were trained to remake it and make that situation right. Definitely not make the customer feel like they bothered you in some way. 2, an "I'm so sorry about that!" Or "Thank you for your patience" or "thanks, have a wonderful day!" Goes a long way!! I'd understand if it was crazy busy. Honestly I get it, pleasantries take a back seat when in a rush. However, there was only 1 person in front of me and no one behind. Can't say how the food or drinks are cus I've been too busy writing this down to try it! The 2 stars are for a clean cafe and the folks making the drinks WERE kind. Let's do better Philz.

I've been here a few times, and I honestly don't know why I haven't reviewed this place yet…read more The moment you walk into Manresa Bread, you're greeted right away. The space has a modern yet warm feel with beautiful natural wood finishes, fresh loaves of sourdough lining the shelves, pastries displayed in the case, and a mix of large communal wood tables, regular seating, and high-top tables. It's the kind of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The staff was friendly and helped us choose both a pastry and our toast. They were also happy to customize our order--we asked for the levain sourdough toast with butter instead of the usual olive oil. That toast was absolutely divine. The sourdough had the perfect balance: chewy without being too sour, with a crust that was crisp but not so hard that it fought back. Easily the best sourdough toast I've had in the Bay Area. If you come here, this is the one thing you have to order. The only disappointment was the butter. They serve French butter, but for an extra $2, the portion was tiny and honestly nothing special. I've had better butter from Whole Foods. It didn't take away from how incredible the bread was, but it wasn't worth the upcharge. Their Kouign-amann is also one of the best I've ever had. Instead of the typical flat, flaky style, theirs is taller with countless buttery layers that create an amazing texture. The cappuccino was another highlight. It had subtle notes of orange peel, whiskey, and cardamom, making it unique. The latte art was beautiful too. Overall, Manresa Bread is one of those cafés that makes you want to sit down with a laptop or a book and spend a few hours there. The only downside is there are no power outlets, so come with a full battery if you're planning to work. Must orders: Levain sourdough toast with butter and the Kouign-amann. Both are worth the trip.
