Amazing customer service! My mom and I are addicted to Starbucks and this is our go to starbucks. All the time. My moms drink: grande espresso frap in a venti cup- extra ice, blended twice. This is the only Starbucks that gets her drink the way she likes it. And since we're regulars, they'll start to remember your order! This is my favorite Starbucks in San Jose. They have very friendly staff and the cafe is always clean. They have some really great baristas who actually understand how to craft beverages. No matter how busy it is in there I know that I will end up with rich, creamy foam in my latte or misto, rather than just hot milk. The indoor seating is good for the size of the store. There are about 4 or 5 regular tables and one community table. The community table is equipped with both a power strip (which runs the length of the table) and power mats for your cell phones. Another great thing about this location is that they have ample outdoor seating. Additionally, this location is a very short walk away from the Los gatos Creek trail so it is a great spot to either start or end a walk. read more

I like this Starbucks. It's quiet and relaxing. I usually like coming here whenever I have a little time to relax. Today I am here because I wanted to have an easy day. Well, this is the place I decided to come here and just kick back and lay low. The service here is pretty good. And like every other Starbucks the coffee and tea is the same. Every time I've come here it's easy to get in and out with a relatively short time waiting to get my order. It's always easy to find a spot to sit and the people who come here are somewhat interesting. I think that every time I have been here it's been a good experience. Wow - the crew here is super nice. My sister and I went here at the crack of dawn with only a few hours of sleep to our name after our shenanigans in SF for the Giants victory celebrations. We were in some serious need of some brew. I know I was far from being perky but the crew here was so polite and friendly, I used the last bit of energy I had to smile...it was hard but that's how awesome these guys were. They actually made an error with one of our drinks and with a smile, they quickly remade it. Within minutes, we were back on the road and headed to the airport for my flight home to San Diego. My drink came out too sweet where it is usually pretty bitter taste.. i guess he overdosed on the whipped cream and pumps of white mocha... I never leave reviews but honestly, I feel like I had to. Today, 12/11 around 7am in the morning, I bought Starbucks through the app and I used the curbside pickup but my phone wasn't working and the screen wasn't loading so I had to go in and ask for my order. A women with blonde short hair and glasses served me and she was so rude and there as no hospitality whatsoever. I explained to her that I had a mobile curbside order and that I couldn't pick it up because my phone wasn't working and she interrupted and rudely asked me what my name was. I told her and then she proceeded to get my drink and spill a little of it. It was so unprofessional. This isn't the only negative interaction I've had at this location. They have treated me bad and I've had multiple bad experiences here as well so I thought it was finally time to say something. read more

The staff here is a lot more upbeat. There's a drink pick up counter and a pastry/food pick up counter instead of all of us crowding one spot to pick something up on ONE counter. Which is a good idea, the space is a little on the limited side. Coffee is made to order the way I ask-- I'm very picky about my iced white mocha. And they get it right! Chyeahhhh!! My newest favorite from the food section is the spinach croissant! The way it's warmed up, still makes it nice and flaky and delicious! Panini recommendation? Tomato caprese! :) -- caution, it will burn your tongue when consumed immediately. It's probably due to the location of where I live that all 4-5 Starbucks near me, there's a lock and key to get to the restrooms. This was the first one where I didn't have to do a little dance to get keys to unlock my way to the ladies room. I love this place. They recently remodeled their floors which gave their store that extra flare that it was missing. I have held interviews at this location and it was perfect (not cramped like most Starbucks are) and their staff are very friendly. Their music is also pretty happening and very up to date. There are some patio seats out front where you can drink your coffee on a nice hot day, or you can stay inside and enjoy the cool AC. Also, there are plenty of police officers coming in and out, so you will always feel protected lol. read more

By far the best Starbucks in this area. One of the only four I will go to. They make beverages great, consistently. They have had some of the same staff since I started going there 4 years ago and they are always friendly, welcoming, funny, and take the time to get to know their customers. Almost all of them know all my drinks and how I like them. That's quite rare! Sometimes I go to this one even if it's not close to where I currently am at, at that moment, just because they lift my spirits and make my day. If you want excellent service, maybe a few laughs, and to feel part of a family in this community... This Starbucks is for you! Lastly, they tend to have the food items I like in stock, and even if the staff is light that day, the few people there will multitask and go out of their way to get your order and everyone else's done right, fast. Standard Starbucks. I like the location of the store because it's right next to a Nothing Bundt Cake. Great store to stop by for a drink and go next door for a quick snack. I love this Starbucks location! I live in Union City and commute to this area for work and I have been a regular customer for almost a year. I usually frequent this location early in the morning (between 6:30-7) and just about everyone is very friendly and helpful. I see Joseph most of the time (the guy with dark hair and glasses), and he ALWAYS has a smile on his face and is very friendly. I have been known to come by occasionally around noon for a pick-me-up frapp and the line isn't too crowded for me, and I always get my drink/food order correct. I don't know if it's just bad luck with timing but I find this location consistently sub par. Today unfortunately was no exception. The Barista forgot to make a customer who ordered before me her drink, and I found that 3 drinks ordered after mine were served before mine. I never liked coffee ... not sure how I ended up keeping a Starbucks gift card always filled and having the Starbucks app as one of the first I'd ever installed on my new iPhone a few years back besides regularly giving family, friends and co-workers Starbucks gifts. When I think back, it must have all started when I walked into this store and was greeted by the warmth, professionalism and exceptional service of this fantastic team! They don't know it, but they've become like family to us and are honorable mentions in our Christmas letter. I am literally seating in my car outside of this location writing this review before I forget :) It's Friday Feb 2nd at 9:30pm and I am heading to my friend's house as I promised to spend the tonight with her to plan for my bachelorette party. I got home from work around 6pm today and I was so tired that I went to bed and set my alarm for 9pm. When it started ringing I still felt so exhausted that I was going to cancel on her and go back to sleep, but instead changed my mind and decided to stop by at Starbucks and get a strong coffee. When I got there the two lovely lady who I can still see them through the window were absolutely kind and took care of me right away and when I told one of them that I just needed something to keep me awake she told me I needed to drink lots of water and instantly filled a large glass of water for me before I ask. These little things and people with such positive attitude make your day and night a lot more pleasant. I hope the management notices what golden employees they have who can still manage to keep their beautiful smile even at late Friday night. read more

This Starbucks is nice but really loud. I don't think it would a good place to talk to people, read a book or search the internet because of the distracts from the loud noise. Usually when I come here, I'm greeted with a strong, "hi," and service is quick and assertive. Not today. I came in to a guy whispering, "I'll be with you in a sec." and then he turns around- opens a cabinet and then looks at the barista and proceeds to he register to take my order. He did not seem happy at all. He then says, "it will obviously be a minute since we have so many drinks..." and nods towards the line of drinks that the barista is trying to get through. He didn't try to help her at all. He didn't add ice or milk or help prep anything for her. As a fellow barista- I saw this and I felt bad for the barista. This is by far the best of all the Starbucks. The drinks are all the same to me at every location but the people who work there make it worth going. The negative review about Briana is pretty much shocking, seeing as every time I am in there, it is her friendly voice you hear louder than anyone's. She genuinely cares about her regular customers and I have never seen her give so much as a dirty look to anyone in her store. It seems that whoever wrote the review did not really experience this at this Starbucks but is in fact someone with a grudge against Briana. She's a great barista, as is Aurora, Julie, Jonathan and Austin. Everyone at this store is friendly. They all give exemplary service. This is the kind of Starbucks you drive out of your way to go to because you know no matter who serves you, you'll be treated kindly and with respect. read more

This is one of my favorite spots to have coffee in San Jose. I can easily say that I spend 5-8% of my paycheck here (don't judge me - there are worse addictions). It's within walking distance from where I live, which is a definite plus. This location has a pretty relaxed atmosphere, which is great for bringing in my laptop for work-related and not-so-work-related tasks (I'll let you guess the ratio). The staff is also amazing - Jo, Michael, and the others always do a phenomenal job. I don't quite understand the complaints I've read below. I can only assume they are made from folks who either: A. Have never worked customer service; and/or B. Are the equivalent of those relatives who complain just for the sake of doing so. I highly recommend this Starbucks location. Ultimately: Great service, coffee, and atmosphere. What more does one need? read more

I want to start this review by saying I have worked in customer service for 8 years and I have nothing but the utmost respect for these workers especially the fact that they are doing this during a pandemic. I mobile ordered a drink and a croissant 15 minutes before I arrived. I walked in and was sternly told only one person was allowed in at a time and I had to wait outside (which I felt so bad for not knowing in the first place) I had no intention to break covid guidelines it's just hard when every Starbucks store is different. When a girl walked outside to give people their orders I asked if I was able to pick up my order which she responded "you have to wait in line like everyone else" and I said "do I have to wait in line if I mobile ordered or do I just need to inform one of the workers?" she walked away in the midst of my question and closed the door on me. She gave me my order and my order was perfect! I'm really sorry if I seemed like I was trying to skip the line I don't mind waiting for my food just wanted some clarification on what the rules were so I could better understand for next time.
