Both times I got a hot vanilla bean latte with two extra shots and it was perfection. Literally no complaints. My boyfriend got an iced americano the first day and tried a hot golden mylk on the second day. He also enjoyed his drinks! The golden mylk is a perfect cold day drink that will make you feel warm and cozy inside. We also had the chance to try their pastries and got an almond croissant with jelly and a goat cheese and roasted leak scone. Im not the biggest fan of jelly filled pastries, but this one was actually really good. It paired well with the crispy exterior and not too sweet. I really enjoyed it! The goat cheese and roasted leak definitely had complimenting flavors, but it wasn't his favorite scone he has. He wished there was more goat cheese versus it just being on top. When is SLO, I will be back!

They have 3 locations total, although Gianna, Andrés, and Mya are friendly faces to make returning to SLO my preference. I really love how this drink comforts me. Of course they offer all kinds of espresso drinks, brewed coffee, tea based drinks, and pastries. I must admit I was a little bummed last time I visited as they no longer carry their breakfast sandwich. Service is always with a smile and everyone working here is most likely a student at the university. Lots of merchandise for sale from t-shirts to roasted coffee beans. There are three other locations besides this one but parking is really easy here so I almost always come to this location when I am in SLO. One more good note, Scout Coffee is family owned!

You have to travel 20 minutes out of town for anything that comes close. I will be honest here: they do charge a lot for their breakfast burrito... they know what it's worth, unfortunately, and they're going to charge you for it (and the prime downtown location). They also charge a very high credit card processing fee--it's more than any kickback a credit card rewards program would give back--so if you have cash, use that. It's cheaper. Their coffee is very good. You're splitting hairs here when trying to find better coffee, but if you're looking for the best breakfast burrito in San Luis Obispo, this is it. Trust me now, thank me later.

But I went back on Monday, June 8th and had a very different experience. I ordered 2 small cups of hot chai with extra foam, extra hot and 1/2 sweet. When they were done, both were "heavy" meaning they felt like there was no foam. I checked and yup...no foam. I mentioned it to the barista who said "no problem. I'll do them over". They were done quickly, but still felt "heavy". I didn't want to go back and figured "it's just me". I got into my car and tried one. It was 90% the same as before. She simply scraped a sliver of the drink off the top and added a touch of foam. Plus...the liquid was "thin" meaning she nearly scalded the drink to get it hot. The 2nd chai was the same way. And the shop wasn't even busy at the time. Everyone at the Nautical Bean is friendly and the vibe is great, but next time I'll take my own advice...even if that means going back to the barista twice to get things right.

What a delight to stroll upon a Lokum on Higuera Street in beautiful San Luis Obispo or "SLO" as locals seem to tag it in their marketing. Having visited the famous Istanbul Bazar several years a go and purchased Turkish lamps for our home, we indeed feel "Right at home"! In the SLO Lokum store. Over the decades we have appreciated the sugary Turkish Delight and baklava treats. It has been both of our late father's favorite deserts and my Dad live in Altayna, Turkiye for a decade so I can appreciate the delicious offerings as after diner offering. Our host was extremely friendly, helpful and generous in our sampling and guidance about our inquiries. We left with a special experience and amble confectionery items for our travels back to San Francisco! Highly recommend Lokum!

I've been going too this Starbucks for a long time and my girlfriend who is a barista at that location was in a minor altercation when the worker she was having an altercation with said that i was "inbread" and said that i probably have intercourse with my mother. This appalled me and I do not recommend going here terrible service i think her name was Dalia. I just want to give a shout out here. One word. Amazing. My life in SLO had been a tough. Being a single patient etc. I stepped in to the Starbucks. Always welcoming and not hot. It's cool in this store. As a matter of fact so refreshing. I had the Simple caramel frap. I add a shot and caramel beverage I like more flavor in my drinks. I'm a drink guy.
