Conveniently located in the heart of Greenlake. This location has a nice variety of different places to sit. Whether it be in the back corner against the wall - where people usually line up to use their lap tops, or the comfy chairs on the other side of the high bar table. On nicer days, mosey on upstairs and see if you can snatch a lounge chair outside on the roof top deck! Starbucks drinks/food is always consistent so need I say more about that. I also like the bulletin board in the back by the bathrooms.. eye candy to look at while you wait. I've been meaning to go and post some of my business cards since I'm new to the area as a hair dresser with my own Business at Illustrated Salon down the road by The Bluwater. Love the outdoor heaters so you can sit outside when it's cold. Layout is pretty good with a large table for homework or work and 8 small tables downstairs. It's pretty insanely busy during the weekends and hard to find a place to sit but during the week there is ample room. Love the outdoor patio upstairs for the warmer days! There are only about 4 parking spots next to building so you'll probably have to look around a little for a parking spot. read more

I've resorted to only coming here in the late evenings rather than weekdays, unless it's warm enough to enjoy the sidewalk seating. It's too much of a zoo here most weekend days to get any studying done (even if you're just here for conversation, good luck trying to snag a table!). There are also only a handful of outlets in the whole place. I do like that they are open late on weeknights, though, and it usually quiets down after 7pm or so. read more

I enjoy going to this Starbucks simply because it's in the heart of Greenlake. Studying here is relaxing because there is an upstairs where you can do some of your work. The Wifi is a bit slow, so if you need to work through your internet, it might be a problem. As far as parking goes, it is hard to find :) read more

I am a self proclaimed Starbucks freak. They are not the best coffee in the world, but as someone once said, its consistant crap. They have become the MacDonalds of coffee. That being said, in Seattle and Puget sound there are thousands of them, this one is in my neighborhood. In the 3 yrs I've lived here, it has improved. Still its not the best. The staff do a good job for the amount of people they shuffle thru there. However, come on, you're Starbuck's and this one is always insane on Sat and Sun. SO what the hell do you have one person manning the register and about 3 of you milling around in the back looking busy and not doing crap?! This store is fast because of about 3 or 4 employees there. Seriously this seems to be one of the heaviest staffed S'Bucks, yet, I have seen longer lines moved at other places faster, with less staff. Also I would expect the same crap all the time, nope here it really depends on the barista. Some of them actually know how to pull a shot, others are too busy with their gossiping to notice and the shit is burned or cold. Not good. Some pluses, they always seem to have a good stock of food, lately. Wasnt always the case. The upstairs patio is a hidden gem. Not many people know about it, so its not usually that crowded. Bring your ipod, this is not a place to take in the view and enjoy the sun, unless you are ok with screaming teenagers. The clover is great here. One barista told me for only 25 cents more, you could get an iced Clover coffee drink and it was totally worth it! If you go here, expect maddening crowds at 10 am on a Monday, 6pm on a Friday or 9pm on a Sunday, it doesnt matter. Seriously they could build another S'bucks around the corner and both would stay in business, its that insane. They can thank the lake. Oh..parking sucks........! Enjoy. read more

I ordered a Caramel Macchiato and I didn't feel like the drink tasted the same as it normally does, the flavors weren't mixed. Lots of coffee flavor and then just the steamed milk and sweetness at the end. I've never been to this Starbucks before and maybe things weren't the norm because there was a race going on and lots of people. read more

I absolutely love this Starbucks. It is usually really busy because of the location, but they are great about moving the line quickly and giving you what you need. What really gets this Starbucks a 5 star review from me is the assistant manager Erin. She is the nicest person in the world. She's always smiling, can make a drink and chit chat at the same time, and knows me by name (i work nearby so I go there a lot). She makes me a very loyal and happy customer. read more

Coffee is fine, staff was very friendly, but beyond that I don't have very many positive things to say. They have remodeled recently, and I would say that now there is nothing at all comfortable about the interior. The chairs are uncomfortable and I feel that the interior is designed so as to make the patrons not feel like staying. I was there with two of my friends to loiter, drink coffee, and talk and basically was uncomfortable the whole time. Parking is a real challenge there as well, they do have 4 or 5 spaces, but mostly you will need to find street parking (I ended up at metered parking this morning), and with the nice weather coming, well, lets just say Green Lake is popular when the sun is out. I've been going here off and on for years and I recently came to the conclusion that I don't like Starbucks' lattes. They are just not that great. The taste of the coffee is just kind of bland. I'll go if I need a breakfast sandwich (turkey bacon ones are delish), but that's about it. On the weekends the lines are insane so steer clear! read more

Just tried to order a box, 1 box, of coffee to pick up in a half hour and they said they were too busy to accomodate. Seriously?!? They can't pour coffee into a box in the next 30 minutes and they call themselves a coffee shop. Terrible service! read more

This store rocks. The baristas in the mornings on weekdays are fabulous. The store always has a steady flow of people but once you place your order the wait is not long. The location is unbeatable and the service is great. I frequent small, independent coffee shops on the weekends but during the week this is my spot. I am a fairly regular customer at a Starbucks in downtown that has 20% less baristas but way more traffic. This place, while the location is excellent, can't figure out how to be more efficient. The downtown Starbucks that I usually go to, never has the 10-15 minute wait times I regularly experience at Green Lake. Busy-ness is not an excuse. Baristas seem completely lost and overwhelmed sometimes. I know they all mostly mean well. I think this is a management issue. read more

I went to this Starbucks for the first time yesterday before making the long walk around the lake, and so far this is where I've had the best tasting chestnut praline latte. The breakfast sandwich I got was delicious as well. The employes were friendly and the interior was clean and inviting, overall a pretty great Starbucks. read more
