Great location. Slow service, store is filthy, and more often than not they say there is no key to the restroom.

Conveniently located downstairs of the Grand Hyatt Seattle. I wish I had found out about this location sooner, since I had been making coffee in the room using the provided coffee machine and complimentary coffee, and although the it was free and the coffee was okay, I would have preferred to spend a few dollars to get delicious coffee right downstairs, especially since I was on vacation. My BF and I for some reason didn't realize that there was a Starbucks so close until our last morning. We even walked outside the hotel and around the corner to the Starbucks, and after we got our drinks, I walked on the other side of Starbucks and realized that it was connected to the Grand Hyatt, and was right next to the guest elevators. I felt pretty silly that I stayed at the Grand Hyatt for three nights, and didn't realize their was a Starbucks downstairs until my last morning. At least the Grand Hyatt will be my go-to Seattle hotel, and now I have this valuable information. Basic Starbucks, but what stood out to me was that when I asked for 1%, they said they don't have it but the barista making my drink said he could make it by mixing up the 2% and nonfat. Such a simple thing for him to do, but such a big indication of great customer service in being creative in making the customer happy, which I most certainly was with the delicious drink that was made! :) read more

Dissapointed in their mobile order process. Every other location I've been to puts mobile orders up on the side of the bar when the drink is ready. I stood around for 10 minutes before I saw one barista turn and set a cup with a mobile sticker on it on the counter next to the ice scoops. When I looked closer, there was another cup already sitting there. It took another few minutes to get the guys attention so I could ask if that was my drink. It was. Cold cocoa. Late to meeting. This is a great location among the many Starbucks. They have a Clover machine which I LOVE and the staff is really friendly.

I don't understand all the hate on the customer service here.. I have had them mess up before & they just remade the drink, and I took the mistaken one to a coworker. They're always friendly. I work literally across the street @ GameWorks and I have never had a problem here. read more

Don't come here if you are in a rush. Lots of tourists getting breakfast and slow baristas.

To be truly honest, I was never a big fan of Starbucks, I occasionally had a cappuccino or Matcha soy latte. I'm hoping that it is just my imagination, but this Starbucks offers a different kind of grandiloquent yet genuine aura and actually coffee tastes better. If every Starbucks maintain the same level of professionalism and enthusiasm, this roaster may really change the world. read more

Be warned that this location gets packed since it serves the hotel guests of the Grand Hyatt and the street crowd. The staff is very friendly and you get your standard Starbucks offerings. I suggest that you stay away from the breakfast sandwich - after I ate it, I wanted to go back to sleep. read more

Terrible customer service. I now have blue ink all over my hands from the marker they used on my cup. When I gave them a heads up that everyone hand blue ink on their hands they just rolled their eyes and said we know. Didn't add the flavor I paid for in my latte and then when I asked for a new one they just put a shot of syrup in the drink they already served me. So now my hand is blue and covered in vanilla syrup. Thanks Starbucks for the terrible experience in Seattle. read more

I came here last time as my event was close by to get hot water and a tea bag. Decent seating inside and customer service was good.

I am so mad about my experience yesterday. I place a mobile order every day and I have for months! The staff at 7th and Pine/Pike still don't know my name but okay, I can put that aside since I sweep in and out each day. But I am a loyal customer and spend money there every day! As a result, I expect my mobile orders to be ready between 3-7 min just like app assures me they will. Normally, my drink is ready but not yesterday. I simply asked the barista if the mobile orders were being worked (as you would expect a customer to do when they failed on their 3-7 min commitment) and ZACK, the barista, acted as if I was bothering him responding with "Yes they are in order" with a tone that demonstrated how dare I ask and of course they are on top of it. Well no you are not on top of it!! I wait another 5 minutes(so now we are at 12 minutes past the 7 min commitment) and he says, "What is your name ma'am?" I answer. He says, "Are you sure you placed your order?" I said "YES! I do this daily!" He then proceeds to say sarcastically "Sorry I checked in." WOW-the nerve of Zack to treat a customer in that manner! What happened to excellent customer service that Starbucks is known for?? They just lost a loyal customer. I am in customer service for a living so I know what is right and what to do with customers when they ask questions. I respond politely, professionally, upbeat and in a manner that shows genuine concern and care. The entire team at this location can hardly smile--they are busy which I get-- but they could certainly step it up several notches by being much more enthusiastic and friendly with customers--greeting them as they come in, smiling as they walk up, etc. So much for loyalty, apparently Zack doesn't want to be bothered. Well guess what buddy, you signed up to serve the public! Would you have responded in the same way if Kevin Johnson was observing?? read more

It thought changing my mobile ordering to drip coffee would make it faster and easier than the Americano i had been ordering on my way to the office. I order when I leave my apartment to walk to work and on a good day it is ready when I get there about 10 min after ordering. Several times i have had to leave before getting my drink because after 10 minutes of waiting in the store I still have no drink (20 min since ordering). Changing to drip coffee made no difference however. I had to leave (15 minutes+ after placing the mobile order which is double the high estimated time per the app) before I could get my drip coffee two out of the past 4 times i have been to this location. read more

I was in Seattle with my boyfriend for 3 weeks. For 2 of those 3 weeks, we stayed at the Grand Hyatt. And once my boyfriend got bit by the coffee bug, we stopped at Starbuck's at least once a day, if not more. This place was by far the best of any that we visited in the city though. We did go to other locations on occasion, when we were out. But here, it always tasted good and the orders were always right. And the barista, Hans, was so incredibly friendly and polite. After a few days, he started to remember our names and my boyfriend's order, since he always got the same thing. He would always greet us by name when we came down in the morning and chatted with my boyfriend sometimes. Excellent employee! The cashier, Danielle, was often there as well, and she was also very friendly. I hope they will be there next year when we visit for PAX. :) read more

I have been to many Starbucks in Seattle, but I don't feel satisfied with the customer service of the Starbucks on 7th Avenue.

Decent location and great service. Staff is efficient, cordial and friendly. Store is clean and they have a full menu here.

Just ordered an cold brewed coffee from super rude female barista. I didnt know it came with ice, I stepped away for a moment while she was pouring it come back to find ice in it. (I cant stand ice in drinks) I politely asked if she could pour the coffee into another cup and dump the ice, or give me a cup so I could do it. She took the cup and dumped the entire thing down the sink while berating me about how I should have known and asked earlier to not have ice in it. Not that I would know it came with ice being the first time I've ordered cold brewed coffee. The sheer rudeness and snyde attitude of the barista means I will NEVER be coming back to this location again. read more

This place is so busy. First of call me a coffee addict! Coffee always makes things better. When im on the run and i need some caffeine I can just go to my starbucks ofcourse and i order a iced chai latte. The staff members here are very friendly. They make your order fast. I walked in here, not thinking I was going to get even better service than I did at the flagship location, but this Starbucks was amazing! Starbucks stops brewing decaf drip coffee for most of the day now. When you order one they say they have to use their Clover, then they charge you more without telling you. Doesn't seem right. read more
