Great staff, Great location and standard Starbucks quality coffee. Parking is a challenge although i never have to circle to many times.

The Starbucks is next to the University of Washington in the mall. It is a big Starbucks and has the students from the University. It is very well equipped with many tables and outlets for the working student. The barista are very knowledgeable and very quick to get your order in and handed to you as quick as possible. While I was there, the turnaround time was really quick(5 min) for the amount of people that they had there. When visiting a Starbucks, customers expect a consistent experience in terms of both their beverage and the time required to receive it. They were spot on! I ordered caramel latte.... Recommend!!

They still have sweet cream cold brew at this location!!

I can't function without my cold brew in the mornings... so I'm so glad that there are so many Starbucks locations in this area. But to be completely honest... I prefer going to the little Starbucks on the north side of U Village. However with all the morning construction, it's impossible to get to that one! So I've been mobile ordering from the main location for the past month or so, and they always have my order ready when I drive up. They're very efficient at getting orders out quickly. I usually only order my cold brew, but sometimes I get breakfast as well - sweet cream cold brew + chonga bagel is my fave. (AND I saw a woman drop her drink one time and the baristas put everything else aside and made a new one for her. Super sweet!)

Great location with friendly staff! Speed of service was quick and my beverage tasted great. You can see a lot of students studying in the lobby. Overall it felt very warm and welcoming.

I really like coming to this Starbucks when I have some extra time in the mornings before work! They are so efficient and nice that I always leave happy with a yummy drink in my hand ready to start my day! I am loyal to the smaller Starbucks on the north side of U village but getting there has been a hassle with all of the construction so I started going to the big one. Ordering on the app is the best way to do it in my opinion. You get there in the morning, park and when you walk inside your drink is pretty much ready. This Starbucks is already busy in the mornings but the afternoons are way worse! Even with that said they are always super efficient and have really great customer service. My new favorite there is the Coconut Cold Brew but my usual is a iced chai tea latte. I always get a friendly goodbye from one of the staff members when leaving with my yummy drink in hand and I am ready to start my day!

Chill away, everyone just lounges and kicks it here

First thing to mention, kudos for their longevity. They are coming up on their first decade next summer. The cafe decor also held up pretty well, including the large glass fixture from the ceiling. Seattle Sunshine Coffee also outlived Ventoux that I had mentioned in my prior post. The barista and I compared my 2016 stamp card to the current design, just had a few slight different nuances. This indie cafe had folks onsite, but not packed. There was still room available whether seated along the sidewalk, main seating area, or the upstairs mezzanine. Some convos to be had, but most of the cafe clientele were on their laptops or reading. Pastry case was well stocked with the wholesale variety from Macrina, plus the usual bevs and cafe fare. I enjoyed my near two hour onsite visit. The only thing I wished is that I had brought a hoodie. The AC was jacked up. and of course, I had savored an iced mocha. Hopefully my next cafe detour won't take nine years though between visits.

They have so much outdoor seating, on both sides of the cafe, which I really like. Way more than downtown. Food came out super quick too. My go to order has always been the Mr Breakfast plate, it's super hearty and full of great breakfast foods. However, the price has increased exponentially and quality has definitely gone down. I used to pay around $15 for this plate and it included bacon and now it's $17 + an extra $4 to add 2 pieces of bacon. (The bacon is totally worth it though). The potatoes recipe need to be completely refined, or they need to offer a substitution option for them. They are overly soft and they don't have nearly enough seasoning. That was the only thing that remained on my plate when I was done! and the soft boiled egg tasted a little off to me, like it had been sitting for a bit long. Other than that, the Turkish eggs and chopped chicken salad were very fresh and good. Staff were super nice when ordering at the counter, coffees and pastries were good as well. Overall I will come back here, just would like to see some quality changes with the Mr Breakfast as it used to be very good.

So I'm sad to see the decline in this establishment. Upon entering I immediately noticed the worn upholstery in the booths. A serious makeover is needed. So trashy. But I get it times are hard. My food arrived on a chipped plate - time to throw it away folks. The counter server was very friendly as normal so that's a definite plus. However the BLT I ordered looked like they threw all the ingredients on the toast with no real prep. The tomato jam was not jam but pieces huge chunks too big to eat. While I'm glad they aren't skimping on the ingredients it was piled so high that it was challenging to eat. I ended up eating it in pieces with my fork and as such lost the tastiness of a combination of the flavors as it quickly became a deconstructed mess. A huge plus - the Seattle Fog was probably the best "London" fog I've ever had !!! Bravo. Not sure I'll come back again this visit. Maybe I'll check it next summer to see if improvements have been made.

It's located in the same spot after many decades in Seattle's Wedgwood neighborhood. Since there's several cafes along this stretch of 35th NE, as point of reference, it's two doors south of Wedgwood Broiler. It shares a huge parking lot and adjacent to a Metro bus route. It had a nice autumn hue from the overhead lighting and interior decor. The local art for sale adorning the walls was a nice added touch. Upbeat, welcoming staff. It was full right at noon and brisk walk-in takeout traffic. Nice overhead music to chill, dine, and/or do laptop stuff. They offer the usual bev menu, as well as, breakfast & lunch items, soups, salads, modest pastry case (from Alki Bakery), merch, and coffee roasts from Zoka. The 16oz mocha was well crafted temp wise & good balance of espresso, steamed milk, and chocolate. I also opted for the roast beef panini without the horseradish. Generously filled with roast beef, havarti, mayo, and red onion on savory focaccia. It was provided with au jus and I selected potato salad versus chips. The au jus was not salty, so after dipping, I also sipped the hot broth. Very flavorful and filling. The other panini half I'll have to take home. Thanks to fellow Yelp Elite All Star, Will L for a compelling post. This was a pleasant detour for lunch.

All the pastries except for the regular butter croissant were available, and we were able to place an order for the kimchi focaccia and sakura swiss roll, which were slated to come out around 10am. Service was super friendly! I got the hojicha latte, the okonomiyaki frittata, black sesame cookie, kimchi focaccia, and sakura swiss roll. The hojicha latte was rich and earthy in the best way, and it went really well with the black sesame cookie, which had a great strong sesame flavor, and the texture was perfectly chewy! The focaccia was pillowy and chewy at the same - I could've eaten five of these on their own. The frittata was my least favorite item, but by no means am I saying that it's bad! I thought the sauces overpowered it a bit, and the frittata itself was a bit bland - I couldn't even tell it had sweet potato in it, but it was cooked really well. There was ample seating in the heated patio, but parking was a little confusing, though we got lucky with the small lot right next to the store. We ordered the Fried Egg Sandwich with bacon, Saint Cheeseburger, and Seasoned Fries with Miso Ranch. The Fried Egg Sandwich and Saint Cheeseburger were on the same buns, which were soft, buttery, and delicious. However, the ratio of patty-to-bun for the cheeseburger felt a bit off (way more bun than patty), and if we were to get it again, we would definitely order it with an extra patty. The fries were solid, but the Miso Ranch unfortunately did not have a prominent miso flavor, and instead was very dill-heavy. All around, we enjoyed our visit and would for sure come back to try their baked goods.
