My Starbucks experiences are usually pretty standard and transactional. What made my experience different today was the staff, who were all working very hard on a Thursday around 10am. Given that my experiences are usually alike, I do not normally write a review for Starbucks but as there was a standout employee today, who I hope the shop will recognize-- I decided to write up a review. Jon, the cashier around 10am provided outstanding experience today-- first in deciphering how to use my coupon, as there was not a code or QR code. In addition to deciphering how to run up my coupon, he also spent the time to make sure I got a solid drink. I appreciated his advice on my drink- which was truly different than any other drink I ever have had before. This Starbucks shop is also really nice- as its large, formerly a bank. Plus, the shop has not stuffed a lot of seats in the space to make it feel tight. Lastly the shop was super clean. This shop can be found outside the "Simi Mall," so there is plenty of parking to get your caffeine on! read more

There should definitely be a Yelp Badge for visiting more than 20+ Starbucks locations as I feel like I have gone to at least 5 in Simi so far during my weekly work day here. This store did not seem very busy at all with maybe 2 cars in the drive-thru and one person sitting at a table inside. There is plenty of outdoor seating even with a long wooden table to fit like 10 people. The store is very large with a long counter for order pick up. Staff was friendly and the restroom was very clean. I picked up my new favorite Melon Energy drink. read more

Simi Valley is a Starbucks town, for sure. At last count there are at least 6 drive-thru versions in the city, plus another handful as walk-in locations in Target and grocery stores. You're never far from a caffeine, snack, or sweet treat fix. We don't go to the location at the Town Center as often as some of the others. Recently, we were there to run errands, and a hot latte sounded like a good idea to take for the ride home. The drive-thru was still open in the 8:00 p.m. hour, and there was only one car ahead of us. Ordering went smoothly, and our drinks came out in short order. All was well. read more

This STARBUCKS is by far thee best one I have visited! The customer service was AMAZING, I disnt get the young man's name but he had black hair and appeared to be of Asian descent. He was so patient and nice I was making changes and he kept a smile on his face. The young lady who was preparing the food noticed I had my hands full and brought mine and my friends food to us! Keep providing service like this...this was my first time in Simi Valley and I am glad I made the stop this morning! The establishment was clean and the music was a descent tone and not over bearing for the ears. It was fully stocked and organized. The management team even had their business cards on the shelf where you grab the straws! That told me they want feedback. The food - caramel brulee was tasty per my friend she gets it with one less pump and made either oatmilk. I got the iced sugar cookie latte with oatmeal and a splash of sweet cream. This location has very good service, but they are constantly out of so many items. I would assume the replenishment system is on auto, based on sales- but if not, and a human is placing the orders, they are doing a poor Job. I stopped by this Starbucks today in the morning because I was craving a bagel. I tried to place my order off the mobile app but it wasnt working correct so I tried the website as well which didn't with either. So I just drove to the place. I found parking easily because this Starbucks is in a big plaza and I came at 5am so there weren't as much people here. I was able to place my order of a small white hot chocolate and a plain bagel with cream cheese. The person who took my over provided great customer interaction. I never had the white hot chocolate here before so I wanted to try it. It didn't take long for my order to come out, the white hot chocolate was kind of sweet to me so I don't think I'll order it again. My bagel was good and toasted so it hit the spot for me. read more

The Pineapple Spicy lemonade is typically my daily go to whereever I am or going in so cal. I'm off today for a change and decided to shop a little at Simi town center and pulled into the star buck and ordered my go to in Treyta size. Big mistake it was the worse ever drink it like they took the ingredients for a small and filled the cup to Treyta water. No spicy at all as a result. I threw it out. This is for the Starbucks at the Simi mall. I went yesterday after they reopened. It was a long wait but I was acknowledged when driving up to make my order. It appeared to me that the staff was disorganized but I got my drink and went on my way. This morning, I went back and drove right up to the order kiosk (there was no one in line). I waited and waited and finally asked throught the micophone if the drive thru was open. The woman finally came on and said "I'll be with you in a moment". So I waited and placed my order and drove right up to the window (again there was no one in the drive thru). I waited and waited without this woman (same from yesterday--the one with the scrip tatoo on her left forearm) even acknowleging that I was there, and no drinks had been made (or were being made) nor the food. Today, it was obvious to me that this Starbucks must have restaffed with new employees (the drive thru woman was assisting a young man inside the store with an issue) as they seemed unorganized and not confident like the previous staff. I finally had to drive away and get to work. My time is valuable too. If the store wants to restaff, it should also ensure there are experienced individuals to assist newly hire employees--which is fair to those newly hired employees. If you need coffee/drinks/food on your way to work, I would skip this location (until they're trained) and go to the location on First street (or better yet go to Makenna Coffee--they're the best). If you have time to spare or are on Summer vacation this is the location for you. read more

Normally I am not a starbucks fan , however this is an exemplary store . We've been here several times while home shopping and after since we moved . Today, the person in front of me gave me a random act of kindness and purchased my coffee ! How neighborly! I used to do this years ago when i worked full time on my way to work. It really does make someone's day. So I'm paying it forward and I hope the person who bought my coffee sees my yelp and knows that I was greatful , It was nice to experience people being neighborly after a horrid year . Had a layover in Burbank and needed some good food and place to watch college football while I waited for the rest of my family to come in town! I met Doug coming into cpk and asked would they turn to the duke Florida state game he says it's already on! Starbucks is Starbucks. The coffee is fine. My order was correct and quickly made. I will say the amount of youth that run the establishment is pretty surprising. Now my one and only issue with this location...the music. Blasting in your ears are Broadway songs and show tunes. Maybe not giving the free range on music options? So first of all there is NO comfortable chairs, all made up of metal. The only seats available next to the outlets are high chair with mini table. There is no creamer or sugar station. They completely filled up the cup with hot coffee and i burnt myself when i wanted to add creamer and sugar! The vibe i got from here was: either don't come here or if you come don't stay too long! This is my go-to Starbucks when so make the trek to my parents once a week. Easy on and off the 118 freeway. I usually go in for the all important bathroom break. The place always has a friendly atmosphere and the employees are always attentive. I never have to wait long for my order inside or through the drive through. My new fav is the sweet cream cold brew with and extra shot of the cream. Sometimes, I even make a stop on my way home. read more

This has to be one of the busiest Starbucks locations in Simi Valley especially because of the drive-thru. So this location in particular has been ripping people off. Three times I've come in and the drinks are less than half full. I just got my drink right now in the drive through and I pointed it out. The lady at the window got annoyed and said she would make them again. She gave me my tray with three drinks and it's was the same. Less than half full venti drinks on a latte. Cappuccinos I know are mostly foam but not lattes. When the lady gave me my tray I said thank you and she turned away without answering because she didn't want me to notice that the drinks were still less than half full. If you want not just a great cup of coffee but a place that makes you feel welcomed, this Starbucks is it!!! Brooke, along with her teammates were like a rainbow after the storm and here's why... I called my local SB needing two traveler coffee things ( with 2 hours to spare) and I was denied for not calling a day ahead ( multiple this by 3 other coffee locations both SB and none local shops).
