This is definitely our favorite Starbucks in the area. The staff are super-friendly, and anxious for you to really enjoy your beverages and food selections. They almost always ask for your name when you order, and share their name. They make you feel like they're really glad you stopped by. The interior is more interesting than many of the other Starbucks. Some nice thought was given to the lighting and the artwork. One can linger comfortably, should you have time to do that. The layout of the front patio is such that you aren't looking right at the grills of parked cars. Rather, the driving lanes to get to the drive-thru are adjacent to the patio, with parking beyond. A new pet-friendly yogurt shop has gone in next door, so you could have a chance to people-watch, and dog-watch as a bonus. The way the building is situated, tucked into an area below a small hill, this feels quieter and less hectic than many other Starbucks. It's got that nice neighborhood vibe, with almost a small town feel. read more

It's been quite a few years since I've left a review. I remember when Ben was the manager there and things were amazing. Things have been amazing up until a few weeks ago, I don't know if key people have left or they have hired some new people, but the new people definitely go out of their way to be just nasty which was very surprising. Plus the fact I walk in to get a coffee, and 15 minutes later they still haven't been able to make it, no excuse why. I ended up just walking out and getting a coffee somewhere else. She was super sweet I value service more than anything and really appreciated the warm welcome and fun recommendation after a long Monday. I stopped by this Starbucks today in the early morning to get a bagel. I was going to order it off the mobile app but decided that I wanted to eat my bagel fresh so I figure I'll order it when I'm at the store. Since I came in the early morning, I think only drive thru is open because all the chairs inside was on the table so I went to the drive thru line. There was only 2 cars in front of me but I didn't have to wait long. I got my plain bagel with cream cheese and asked for a venti iced water. By the time I pulled up to the window, my bagel was ready and my water. I tooked it back to my work office to eat it and it was great. Wow! Today was my first time at this location. The employees are so nice! I went through the drive thru. TESLA, you gave such amazing customer service and are super friendly! It literally made my day receiving happy, kind service first thing in the morning. Why can't employees everywhere be this friendly? LOL. - This "policy" these kids are trained . . . - Your offered toppings - if you decline they are always still in the bag WITHOUT a utensil/spoon. I never write reviews but this incident threw me so off guard that I wanted to warn other people about this woman. I have been coming to this Starbucks for a couple of years bc it's on my way to work. I work 4 days a week. I am always super nice and respectful bc I also work in food service and would never be a horrible customer. Today (11/3/25) when I went, the lady at the window was not only rude but my main issue that I'm writing this review about is because she put my name on my order as "Fiend". My name is Jayden, there is no way she misheard my name. She is always rude every time she is at the window but today was my last straw with her. That is so extremely unprofessional and just flat out mean. I go there 4 days a week to have caffeine before my opening or closing shift. If her attitude and response to me going there 4 days a week is to call me a fiend, I just wanted to warn other customers about her bc I KNOW people go there every single day so I can only imagine their attitude towards them. I've never had any issue with any of the baristas, they are usually so so nice, but the older woman who has a thick black ring on one of her fingers should not be at the window serving and interacting with people, and apparently as well as writing people names for their orders. It was my first time coming to this Starbucks and have never actually had a cake pop. Yes, I am on the bigger side but the fact I was refused service because of my WEIGHT???? This is my local favorite Starbucks- usually they are great but service has fallen off lately. I ALWAYS order a Venti non-fat London Fog Tea Latte. That is made with two Earl Grey tea bags water nonfat milk and five pumps of vanilla. Since a Recent change in staffing in several of my favorite baristas have left my London Fog is wrong more than half the time . Today knowing I was speaking to a barista I had never spoken to before in the drive-through taking my order I reminded her to make sure that the vanilla was included. And again no vanilla. I ordered a drink through the mobile app and used the drive thru because my kiddo was in the car. The drive-thru was clean and easily accessible. There is also a large parking lot for customers who wanted to go inside. Today I would like to give a shout out to Chandler who served me in the drive-thru. Never have I ever had someone look at the drink that the barista made, notice that it was incorrect, and then say they noticed there was a problem. Chandler looked at the sticker on my drink, noticed there was not extra ice and offered to either remake the drink or get me an additional glass of ice. This is the relocated Starbucks in the Wood Ranch Shopping Center. They built a new stand alone building in the corner of the parking lot to make this a drive-thru location. Same friendly employees and great quality. The Wood Ranch Starbucks has always had great service. The employees take the time to get to know you and remember your drinks. They are still working out the drive-thru kinks, but all in all, they are doing a pretty good job. Just a little slow at times. The interior is modern and spacious. There is a nice little patio in front of the store if you want to enjoy your drink outside. read more

The most hidden Starbucks ever! Was on Olsen Rd and saw the sign but not the building. Even on Country Club drive it's not immediately visible. I'm not complaining but it's a strange feature of this location. It has a drive through and relatively new or remodeled as it does have some decent graphics and pictures inside. Inside is furnished in the new Starbucks style, that's to say there are very few oversized lounge chairs (if I recall correctly this location as two "lounge" chairs while there are tables and more tables. I happen to be there when it was mostly empty but I can imagine a packed house. The baristas were friendly and all were polite and quick with my order. I'll definitely be back! read more

EVERY TIME I do a mobile order and show up faster than the "estimated time" they say something to me. I could just not do a mobile order, and order my 10 items at the drive thru and make them manually enter everything right there or I could order it on the app so they have the order already in the system and just need to prepare it. This is my favorite Starbucks in Simi. New and improved. Very roomy. Upgraded with a modern look. But I'm not just judging a book by its cover. The HotSpot is filled with baristas who shine with lots of positive energy & smiles. Whether I walk in or go through the drive thru, I consistently get EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! One of their shining stars is Dena who always delivers great service with a smile and a positive attitude. I am so upset that I even have to waste more of my time writing this review but I'm still so upset!! Last week I went to this location and went through the drive-thru. (I could walk to this store I live so close and frequest this location OFTEN!!) It wasn't until I got up to the window that I realized that I didn't have a $20 bill in my wallet like I thought, only a $100 bill. When I explained it to the new girl training at the window, she explained she couldn't take anything over a $20. I asked what if I used it to reload my card, and was told yes that was fine. She scanned my card and then I handed her the $100 and again told me she couldn't take anything over a $20. At this point, I was frustrated and I politely asked if I could speak to the manager hoping she could help me and make and exception since I had already ordered, I was on my lunch break, and needed to get back to Woodland Hills. The supervisor on duty, Emily came to the window and reiterated what the other girl has said. I tried asking if they could make an exception and he response was not only short, but rude and extremely impolite! She said there was nothing she could do and then turned around as if to go about her business. So, I drove off. I drove to another SBUX location less than 5 miles away and they were kind enough to break the large bill I had, however when I went to reload my card, I was told she had never seen anything like that, and there was a "Account Hold" on my card. I immediately called Emily at the store and asked what had happened and she told me (again snotty and rudely), "Well, you drove off". Of course I did, I was told you couldn't help me!!!! I asked her to void the transaction of reloading the $20 on my card since they never took my money and she said again, "there was nothing she could do". At this point, I was not 30 minutes late getting back to work, and the GOLD card that I have had since 2011 is now UNUSABLE!!! I'm pissed!!! I even called SBUX and filed a complaint and tried to have them remove the hold. I was told it could take up to 48 hrs and still nothing (after 3 - 4 days). My time is valuable and I have been a major SBUX connoisseurs for many years! I spend A LOT of money at these stores and DO NOT APPRECIATE being treated this way! Not to mention that I am and have been a single mom for over 21 years and get paid hourly!! Do you want to reimburse me for the time I missed dealing with all this?! I often go through the drive through at this location after my son's ice skating lesson as a treat. During my most recent visit, I had both kids in the car. The barista felt so badly that they ran out of stickers. They went out of their way to draw the cutest characters on their lemonade cups! This is a great location! While on my way to work in Westlake Village I was having trouble finding a Starbucks that would take a mobile order or that had all the ingredients for the drink I wanted. Somehow I stumbled upon this gem I don't know how long is location has been open but I placed my order it said it would be ready in about 10 to 11 minutes but it was ready within seven or eight and when I realize I ordered my drink wrong and it was missing an ingredient the barista was more than happy to help me and was really understanding. Seriously if you want a good drink from Starbucks don't go to the one in Wood Ranch besides the fact that I stood there in front of the counter for almost 10 minutes with nobody acknowledging me I finally had to say hello hello everybody to get somebody to acknowledge me even just to get a small drink there's trash all over the floor the bathroom had no toilet paper and then the manager Dee. I am a Starbucks partner out if work due to COVID closures. This store is the only location I've been to where the partners make my complicated, super annoying drink correctly. I'm used to making it for myself at work and am embarrassed to order something so insanely specific and modified. HOWEVER, no one here bats an eye at my requests. It's so cool !!! I can't wait for my store to reopen so I can get back to making my own goodies! Until then though, this is the only Starbucks I will go to. Watch your charges ! Will not provide receipt unless asked. They were aware they double charged but due to "being busy & under staffed" didn't bother to correct it before charging me. I don't normally ask for a receipt but decided to this time since it was close to $30 thought it was a little high. Sure enough overcharged $5.75. Had I not asked for the receipt I would never have known or had proof. I go here often and the staff is nice but not going to pay more than I already pay. So beware. I go to this Starbucks store because it's near my house and on the way to work! This is a 2nd tier store that provides barista training to newbies. The store is clean, inviting and a quaint location to hang out with friends. I go to this store almost every day. The food is good and the coffee great! Their service is impeccable and the baristas are on top of their service. The more experienced ones like Veronica, Cameron, Jessica, Cierra, Alice, and few others have been the foundation of this good and friendly service.
