I used to go to the Starbucks in countryside and they just took forever (with on,y 5 people in line) so I decided to hit up this one since its on my way to work. Even though lines are long in the morning they are a super efficient team they got working there! I've always been greated with a smile and with great service! I've never been disappointed since this is now my go to starbucks. I definitely recommend this one. read more

My favorite sbux! Even though this one isn't the closest one to my house (the countryside / pidgeon hill one is), i'll go out of my way to come here. The staff is friendly and recognizes me when I come in. The taste of my drink is consistent (which is more than I can say for other locations), and they're very tolerant of me coming in during the week with 3-4 drinks on separate tabs (office coffee run ftw!). read more

This is my favorite Starbucks ever. I've been going here since it opened in the mid-90's when I was a kid and I just turned 30. They know me and my sisters very well and already know our order by the time we go the the register. I hardly have a off drink and even then it's still decent. All the staff is sweet and a lot of them know my name. I cant say enough good words about them! read more

Easily the best Starbucks I've been to! Since I started coming here about a year ago, the staff has been very friendly and I've gotten to know the regulars who are also wonderful. The atmosphere of this place is just like the Cheers bar, just without the alcohol. LOL. Many of the regulars are known to spend basically their entire day here - - literally - - as in they come in in the morning and stay until dark, so yes, sometimes those nice leather chairs are occupied by the same person for hours on end! I love places like this that have regulars, it really creates a friendly, small town-style atmosphere that you just don't see at most locations, like the Countryside Starbucks. The employees are terrific and they know me by name and what my usual is when I come in. They always start your order before you get to the register, which is nice because it minimizes the amount of time spent waiting after you've paid. One of the baristas who works in the mornings has been there for quite a while now is incredibly nice and does an excellent job handling the morning rush of businesspeople coming in for their morning coffee before work. She knows almost everyone by name and you'll hear her say "will it be the usual today?" more than just about anything else! The morning staff is the best overall, the afternoon staff is also very good, but no one can compete with the morning crew! The drinks are always spot on and consistent, a rarity nowadays, and they have a great selection of newspapers (New York Times, USA Today, Wall St. Journal, Washington Post.) with the news rack located right by the front door. The interior of this location is set up very well and has two long tables which seat about 8, a bar up against the window which seats about 6 (one of the bar tables was recently moved to the other side of the restaurant), several comfortable leather chairs, smaller tables and a wonderful outdoor seating area, except for the fact that smoking is very much present. This is really the only issue with the place as you have to walk through massive clouds of smoke to get in. Also, I've noticed recently that the maintenance of the outdoor space has seemingly gone downhill, with cigarette butts littering the porch and chairs scattered everywhere. Nonethelss, the outdoor area is a great feature in the fall/spring when the weather is nice. Good luck finding a seat though! read more

Typical Starbucks... good product and service! This one was a bit packed when I arrived but it could have been the time of day (afternoon) or that the staff were good. Drinks and snacks were made/served quickly and professionally! Will be back if I'm in the area! read more

The two ladies working at the evening are polite and professional ! After the store closed at 10 PM I was waiting at the chairs outside waiting for a Lyft driver when a Starbucks employee approached me and told me to "leave the seats" and not sit outside. It WAS VERY RUDE from him !! I was disappointed I gave the store a tip of 7 dollars in total at that day and I was asked to leave the seats outside !!!! How shameful !!! I felt heartbroken and disappointed! It's the worst Starbucks service I have encountered and I believe no manager will follow up with such a behavior !!!! It was about to seem racially motivated .His excuse was even worse he said that some incident have happened before that's why he ask me to leave the seats outside .I carry no hatred in my heart ! I used to visit this locations every other week when I lived around. Never had a complaint. I moved last year and yesterday was my first time visiting... And here is what's happened... I got My Latte without any coffee!!! And this is how it was handled: I was with my friends and realized that my coffee doesn't taste right but kept drinking- I don't complain. About 10 mins later I decided to open the lid and found out that there is no coffee in it. So I went back inside, waited in line ( didn't want to make a big deal), explained the cashier what's happened and she was like Ok, what drink did u have? So I told her about my decaf latte. She asked the barista to make me another one and explained why. Barista didn't seem to care at all. She kept making drinks to all the people that were ahead of me ( instead of fixing my drink that she made wrong earlier but ok), so I waited for another 5 mins and then she gave me my drink just like nothing happened. No apology, no rush on fixing my drink, nothing. No care at all. And my drink didn't taste right again... I didn't even finish it. Well, I got upset stomach when I got home. And everything would be ok but I am breastfeeding and now my baby has stomach issues. I will no longer frequent this Starbucks because of the management. My son requested to talk to the manager to ask for a donation of a $16 coffee traveler to feed his volunteers at his Eagle Scout Project ( building a garden whereby the produce is donated to the local food bank). The manager wouldn't even come out to talk to him and sent an employee out to say " we don't do donations". They were even embarrassed to have to deliver the message. So after buying umpteen coffee travelers for school events, taking clients there, buying a multitude of gift cards for teachers and clients and coffee, food & drinks since they have opened, I am forced to say " I don't do Cascades Starbucks anymore" . What could the coffee traveler actually have cost the store? $5? The next time at least have the decency to come out and speak personally to the person. FYI, the Countryside Starbucks is very supportive of the community. I suggest you spend your money there. read more
