not the most welcoming bunch, I walked up to order say "good morning and she literally just stared back" I proceeded to give her my order and no interaction whatsoever and she didn't get the order right smh

This Starbucks opens at 4:00 AM and is specially staffed with intellectual baristas. It was hard to find so early in morning, but once I saw this oasis among shops, I felt so good! I ordered both coffee and food for hungry crew and was happy for the results!

We were staying nearby at the Hilton Ocean Tower so this was the closest mermaid location. After a few trips to order caffeine we also bought on our last day the Been There collector mugs. The baristas were nice and talkative.

If you're new to Starbucks and don't know what to get here are a few go to options. I'm lactose intolerant so you can substitute the oat milk with just regular milk if you'd like. Also, I don't get whip cream because whip cream is dairy. Double chocolate chip Frappuccino sub oat milk (this one is like a chocolate milkshake and has no caffeine) Iced Matcha latte sub oat milk And my go to because I'm an espresso girly but too much espresso flavor girly lol: Grande iced Americano inside a Venti cup 2hazelnut syrups with white mocha and oat milk Also, if you are traveling through and want to grab a souvenir cup, this Starbucks has the most amount of souvenir cups for Hawaii I've ever seen. Even more than the Starbucks inside the Oahu airport!! This Starbucks does not have a bathroom or seating area really but that's ok because the shopping center has so many cute places to sit and drink your coffee and has several bathrooms.

Quick coffee refill at Starbucks and we were a happy camper at the end of it all. Machaela gave us a warm welcome and answered our questions about the coffee that we wanted, with absolute patience and a smile on her face even though we were being between her and the shop close. All in all a great experience that was short and quick and shoutout to Machaela for taking care of our request the way we asked for it to be.. Do stop by!!

After a movie, my family and I were walking around the Queens' Market Place and got a little thirsty so we came into a well-known establishment to get some drinks. The barista was incredibly patient as my teenage son called his friend back on the mainland to ask him what drink he normally makes for him while he's at work. Lol teenagers! They always need help! Lol. Apparently, my son loves their iced brown sugar, espresso with oat milk or some thing of the rather?! Lol too much for me to say, it was funny, nevertheless. I ordered the passion, fruit and strawberry smoothie along with some Madeline's. Everything was delicious and perfectly hit the spot! I also loved their Mural in the background, which is why I used that in one of my pictures with my drink. Hee. I will be back again!!

This Starbucks in Waikoloa Queens marketplace is the nicest Starbucks. You can sit outside on the many tables and listen to the birds and the waterfalls. The employees are all super friendly and capable and smiling and very service oriented. I even asked for my agave syrup to be cut with a scissors because I can never open them with my teeth and when I got my refill on my coffee because I'm a gold star, REBE and gave me my syrup cut open already. That's called service. The oatmeal came out really promptly as did everything else we ordered and we've come here three times now. 10 stars come here.

Really not much of a Starbucks fan -- I avoid one of the many locations at home to opt for the only Dunkin' -- but coffee in our hotel was expensive and it made sense to visit Starbucks for the loyalty points (stars). Also, this Starbucks serves Kona coffee by the cup and bag of beans, so it's unique. There is also special Hawaii merch and pins. (We saw some of the same merch at the Target.) Service is really good and friendly considering how busy they always were. You also could order regular items by mobile order, just no Kona coffee. I was able to cash in my Starbucks loyalty stars for a bag of Kona coffee, which is amazing. We kept going back because it was a good option, the kids like Starbucks food, I like Kona coffee and we racked up Starbucks stars to use anywhere. Win-win.

Most just taste like a regular donut you can get anywhere, but not at Pono Pastries! What a gem! First off, the service was friendly and superb, and you can tell they care about their products and your experience. After ordering, I asked the server what her favorite malasada combo is, and she surprised us with her favorite on the house: a guava malasada with guava filling. She was so right on! Delicious! The ube malasada with ube cream tastes just like ube (it's quite annoying when an ube food doesn't taste like it!). The regular malasada with haupia cream was safe but delightful. The dough consistency is just right. Nothing like Leonard's, but in a league of their own, especially how the malasadas are still great to eat the next day. Malasadas from other places tend to be greasy, so eating them later tends to be unsavory. Pono malasadas aren't greasy and tastes just like they did when we ate them for breakfast the next day. I also appreciate how the server packaged everything with care. Overall, the experience and food made me forget I was at a depressing mall food court. I plan to return to this depressing place to experience the joy of Pono Pastries malasadas. Finally, my search for great malasadas on Big Island is over. What a treat!

There's a few in the display case like Ube, plain, churro, etc. We had ours the following day. Happy to say still very good and plenty of filling. I got lilikoi and daughter got strawberry. Hubby got a cinnamon bun. Park in the back of the Marketplace and enter into the food court.

We were only $20 short of reaching the $300 spending requirement for the free gifts, which should speak to how frequently we visited and how much money we spent at this store. Despite being repeat customers, every visit was met with the same poor customer service. All of the cashiers who helped us were rude, curt, and could not even acknowledge the smallest greetings. The customer service was so unpleasant that it was not worth the experience. The food is not amazing, the prices are not great, and the only thing this place has is convenience--nothing more to offer. In one instance, I got a burger and a black milk tea with boba. I specifically told the cashier that I wanted boba, but she did not ring it up. When I inquired about the missing boba, a young employee addressed the matter with the cashier. They talked, and I said that if it cost more, I could pay for it. She rang up the boba with zero acknowledgment of her mistake. Nothing came out of her mouth. Complete silence. In another instance, I asked a cashier what the gifts were if we reached $300 in purchases. She did not say a word. She simply reached for a card with images of the gifts and placed it on the opposite side of where I was standing. She said nothing. I asked if those were the gifts, and she said yes. She then pulled out her phone while I looked at the card, and I simply said, "Okay, thank you." These are just a few examples of the many disturbing encounters we had with all of the cashiers. While on vacation in a tourist area, this is not the type of conduct or customer service one expects to experience. It was disturbing, and we dreaded going there despite the convenience.
