The SB inside Pavilions: Raymond, the "barista," was unpleasant, rude and short-tempered. He clearly doesn't want to be there. I asked for nutmeg. "No!" I asked him to pour in the steamed oat milk before the hot water. He abruptly put the hot water down, and poured in a small amount of the steamed oatmilk. He had a lot more he could have poured in. He was clearly agitated. Tiffany was right there seeing this. Tiffany was smiling and pleasant. He started knocking his fist on the counter. I told Tiffany, "He's knocking his fist on the counter in front of him. He continued doing it. He seemed very angry. No "thank you's." Nothing. I told her that Raymond needs a cup of coffee. There is nothing elaborate I can say about this Starbucks location. It is located in a supermarket in West Hollywood, just across the deli. I bought some iced green tea from here to go with the sushi I bought. There was one barista on duty at the time. She was pretty friendly, and got me my drink right away. The tea came out as expected, delicious and smooth. I sat down in the small seating area just next to this Starbucks. The place was not too busy at the time, and it was ok as far as cleanliness goes. I ate my food, and made my way back to the parking lot. This is a convenient stop if you're shopping at the Pavilions supermarket. read more

This is a good sized Starbucks. It's in a mini-mall so there is plenty of free parking. It's your typical Starbucks. It does get really busy and crowded though and even with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, it can be hard to find a seat. The service is mixed and depends on who you get and how busy they are, I supposed. I do like that they give the leftovers at the end of the day to the foodbank. That makes me happy! read more

Starting the second of a back to back long shift (24+hrs) at the hospital. I went to get a cup of coffee to kick the day off. It really makes a difference. As an anesthesiologist intubating several covid + and covid unknowns (presumptive), it's nice to have the community be supportive. I went in this morning, the lady said they don't give coffee for healthcare workers. I thought it was through May. This is my second time asking and the first time I was given a cup- this was a week ago at the same location. Anyway, i come here a lot. It would be nice if they supported us. They make plenty of money on me the rest of the year. I think their cost on a cup of coffee has to be less than $.10. Cheap bastards. Worst Starbucks ever. My husband and I went in to get an ice coffee refill. Im a city bus driver and prefer to have my caffeine in the morning before I drive. When I ordered my refill, a barista name Andrea gave me 21 questions, rudely. She asked me if I purchased my drink there and if I had a receipt. She spoke to me as if I was a transient who pulled the cup out of the trashcan. I was in my uniform and we'll groomed. Protocol is one thing, but her attitude was another. I believe that she had no right to talk to me the way she did. I ended up having to order another ice coffee because this bitch thought I couldn't afford to. After she rung in my order I asked her for her name. She snarled and said "Andrea, it's on the receipt". I'm still not understanding why this girl was so adamant on messing with people in the morning before they have their coffee?? What she didn't know was that I use to work at Starbucks and have been in customer service longer then I'd like to admit. Never in my life have I treated customers with such disrespect. Even if a homeless person walked up in there with a cup, asking for a refill, you give them the benefit of the doubt. Keep in mind that every other Starbucks has no problem fulfilling my order or asked me for any proof of purchase. This bitch makes $9 an hour and thinks she owns the place. Like, really? There were 5 people "working" was standing and waiting for my order to be taken. One barista looked at me and continued putting labels on some plastic bottles. Was standing for couple of minutes and left without coffee. None of them said anything: neither hi, nor will take your order, ...will not go back to this starbucks. I have been here a number of times now. I prefer this location over the one just down the street for ONE very simple reason. They do not take even half as long as the other location and they are a bit friendlier. I haven't had any bad experiences here. In one instance where someone took my drink by mistake, they were nice enough to make my drink again for me and make sure that I get it. The cashiers seem to have more responsibility here, being that they work inside the grocery store. Sometimes they are ringing people up for their non-Starbucks items purchases as well as their drink orders. That can really slow the process but it hasn't been too bad for me. The workers here are friendly and they do their best in trying to keep their food consumption areas nice and clean, at least not littered by cups, wrappers, straws, bags, etc. Another nice thing about this location is that because they are not as heavily shopped as the other location down the street, later in the day they tend to still have the muffins that I love. I ordered for the first time on my app this morning. When I received my iced tea, I realized that I ordered the wrong size. I brought it to the attention of Derek at the counter and asked if I could pay the difference and get a large one. Second visit to this Starbucks and it was just a horrible as my first visit. I waited patiently while an employee named Christina said horrible things about her manager to another employee. Something about how her manager doesn't have any management skills and everyone is going to quit.... blah blah blah.... GET ME MY COFFEE!
