So after the employees refusing my gift card, I purchased an Iced Tea and a pastry. I thought the staff was completely rude not accepting my brand new gift card that I used elsewhere that very morning for an Iced Tea. I should have well over 45.00 left unless the Iced Tea I purchased earlier that morning costed 50.00. So in my observation , I witnessed the use of dirty utensils by a staff member, another one couldn't tear herself away from her phone long enough to help someone else, and another one was mowing potato chips behind the counter. There are so many Starbucks that reviews seem redundant. As far as Starbucks go, this is is small one that caters more to the drivethru crowd. Since I have never done that it would not be fair for me to make comment on that. What I can day us that is is very popular place for people to do business. It felt like speed dating last time because of all the business lines up next to each other trying to sell the other side off the table. Funny thing is that everyone seemed okay with it. Good coffee and nice people behind the counter. But definitely not a place to study or get any serious work done. The awful coffeehouse jazz is always blaring and everyone around you is trying to yell at each other over the music- customers and baristas alike. Weak coffee. Gold member with Starbucks, visit daily and this location was not accommodating. I ordered a caramel macchiato and iced latte, they were both super watery, went back in to have it adjusted and the barista tested the machine and said all he could do was add a little espresso. Didn't try remaking the drink or offering any extra service to make it right. Still left with a watery drink and $13 down the drain. read more

Walked in at a time when it wasn't as busy. Totally different experience as compared to the last time I had visited this Starbucks. They have a decent product, over priced. We all know this. After that, what else do they have? They do not have good service at this location, inside. Drive thru has been good so far, efficient and cheery order takers. Today, was my 3rd time inside this location. The shades were up and the sun hitting the customers in the eye. I took it upon myself to adjust the shades. Staff members walked past me as I struggled to fix the blinds. Maybe I was invisible. Business is not only about product anymore, service needs to be top notch to keep the brand and business going. Luckily for Starbucks, I am a Dunkin' fan! I've only been here once, but that drive through line was never shorter than the entrance to the mall! On top of that.. we ordered or typical drinks but the barista knew everyone else's name! I think that's some high quality customer service. One customer didn't have a drink for a while and she apologized and knew exactly what he wanted and made it for him. They haven't screwed up my drinks per se, but they aren't made as consistently as other Starbucks' drinks are. They were open on Thanksgiving, so that was sad, and as expected, the people working the drive through were visibly mad about it. read more

Nice little outside sitting area. Worked real hard to shelter visually from Okeechobee Blvd road traffic. Inside is horrible. I'd rather sit in my car with the windows rolled up and no AC. Seats hard, not a "inviting coffee-house feel", music is way to loud! Staff just makes coffee. Drinks are fair. read more

Horror of horrors.Yesterday, My experience here started out nicely as I entered this location down the street from my job. First there were 2 young ladies at the cash registers; I went to one and she said oh I am not ringing customers, I'm running a report with out any further direction, so I move to the other cashier line. She was pleasant but never offered me a receipt. So I I get my 3 items, had to ask for a tray for the beverages and leave. I get back to my job literally not even 5 minutes away, get out of the car, grab my peppermint tea by the top , which comes off and this scalding hot tea pours over my hand; immediately I run into my job and several of us are trying to put burn cream and spray on my hand. As the tears are running down my face I call the location back, get put on hold, when someone comes to the line I ask for the Mgr, Erin tells me he is not in and say she is the supervisor, okay. I explained what happened, she tells me I can call 1800Starbucks, WOW, WOW, WOW. She made me feel as if it were my fault the lid was not secure and, btw as hot as the tea was it would have scalded my mouth. Today since, I did not receive a call from the Mgr, I stop by the location and ask for a copy of the incident report Erin says she filled out and if the Mgr was in, one girl said yes, he is on the phone; then The shift supervisor once again says no he left for lunch, and there is no way for her to give me a copy of the incident report; then she said he was on a conference call, so which was it. So yes, this store gets a zero star rating if I could give that. A follow up call and some type apology from the Mgr with a refund would have totally squashed this, but now I am not so sure. Best experience ever. Everyone was so nice, the guy at the register was sincere and helped me find a new favorite drink (ombre pink!!). The girl making the drinks was fast and super nice too. She even made sure I liked my drink before I left or she'd make me something else. (her words not mine) Kudos to the manager for running a clean, fast, and friendly store.
