Visiting our son here and decided breakfast at Maggie's was in order since it's been a few years since we last visited. As in our previous visit the food was excellent and the service outstanding. Two orders of the "Hot Mess" and a Quiche with roasted potatoes with peppers and onions. Delish!

Great for a homely family-feel breakfast place. Hits the craving very well! Waitress was great too

Maggie's on Meeker A few KM grads meeting every month at our fave diner.

A group of KM grads meet here monthly...pretty regularly since. COVID. We all have our favorites, probably starting with the owner and her great fun staff. Food great; fish n chips, scramble, hamburgers, Quiche (order when you walk thru the door or it will be gone) and the best chili dog I have ever had. Servings big enough to save half for dinner and most do. Decor is diner style. Not cluttered, but clean and bright. We all love it for relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Not fancy but you won't be disappointed. s

Found this on google having good ratings. Conveniently located on Meeker Street. Came in right after it opened at 7. Not crowded and plenty of tables. Server was very friendly and checked on you enough to not feel like you're being bothered. Started off with a hot chocolate and a as served with a pleasantly sized artistic cup. Taste was very good and not too sweet like you get with some places. Ordered the homemade corned beef hash as it was recommended as one of the popular choices there. Portion size was very generous, but the cuts of corned beef were a little too fatty for me. The potatoes were not as cooked through as I'd like them, but they were still good. Needed a bit of pepper with it. The kicker was their homemade salsa. Slightly spicier than Cholua, but it had a great taste and hit the right spice without reaching for water. Highly recommend the homemade salsa! Overall, this was a very pleasant place to have breakfast and relax. Was not too loud and they had weekend specials too (pictured 11Oct). I highly recommend this place!

It's pretty much old time diner food. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it can be amazing, this was just so so. Not sure how long the restaurant has been there, I'm guessing for awhile. Some of the folks eating obviously come often since the servers seem to know them and one older gentleman had no problem getting up and getting his own coffee and napkins. It was pretty busy around 10:30 on a Tuesday morning and did feel badly for the server. Apparently the boss let the 2nd server go home early resulting in a slow down in service, not her fault that's for sure. I had what they called a Maggie scramble. Had potatoes, some veggies, eggs and ham scrambled together and topped with cheese. It was a huge portion, enough for more than one and I brought a lot of it home. The problem was the cheese was in just one place and without that topping there wasn't much taste. My husband got a four egg omelette filled with sausage which is said was ok, needed some cheese on top and not just inside. It came with a huge side of hash browns and toast. The servers were pleasant and the restaurant was clean. Just not sure it would be worth going to try again

    "hot mess"

Food was excellent, but kind of pricey. I got the eggs benedict (hollandaise was excellent), & hubs got the "hot mess". We both very much enjoyed our food. There was only 1 waitress and she was doing her best. No free refills on the juice (boo!) It's much bigger inside than it looks from outside. They have tons of pastries, of which we didn't try, but they all look homemade. All in all, a good experience and we'll probably go back

This would be our 1st time at this establishment. So we just arrived after a 6 hour flight. We were very hungry so we came upon this place. It wasn't bz at all!.So we didn't have to wait to be seated. Its a nice place like a southern feel.Nothing to fancy. So after receiving our drinks we placed our order. My girl friend had the Griddle breakfast. It was a feast!.The sausage links is so good!.As well as everything else.As for myself I got the Chicken fried steak. It Hit the spot!.The gravy had the perfect peppery taste and companying that a comforting feeling and the house fries just made everything all that good!.I just wanted to go to sleep after that. After that meal we were ready for the day ahead. Also the waitress was so nice n friendly it made the experience all more enjoyable!.So when we are back Seattle. We will definitely be stoping by again.Maybe take a few cookies or baked pastry to go!..

Knew this place was going to be good when you can see it was busy with regulars. Decent portions, great tasting and affordable. Located in the downtown Kent area plenty of street parking. Inside spacious with plenty of seating. Staff were friendly and quick.

We had called in advance and they do not take reservations, but it was early enough and we were expecting the worst for a special day like this. A table was prepared promptly when we arrived, and we were seated shortly. A round of coffees and the usual favorites-- moist fluffy pancakes, really generous serving of tasty crab omelette, eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast. Sides were toast with house made jam and butter, and potatoes cooked perfectly. A little on the pricier side by the servings for one would be good for two hungry persons, or two meals. Service was warm and prompt. The inside was not too noisy for a busy morning. Overall we are so happy we picked this place on what would have been a stressful bush meal. We'll be back for sure.

We went recently dined in on a holiday Monday and were very disappointed!! First, the state of cleanliness was very bad! The dining room needs a deep cleaning! Thick dust was observed on the worn, paint-chipped chairs and in low traffic areas of the floor; many pictures were hanging crooked on the walls; grime was visible on the walls and floor; the bathroom smelled heavily of urine. When a public space is this dirty and neglected, one wonders how unsanitary the kitchen might be! Service wasn't attentive - never had our drinks refilled or even checked on to ask how things were. The food was good and portions large but prices high even by current standards. Also it was a bit sickening to sit in the dining room. The owners and management need to work hard to improve from the OKAY rating from the Health Department and do some deep cleaning to return to the special restaurant it was years ago. We do not plan to return at this point.

Karla came over right away and helped us with the kindest attitude. When we asked how to add sauces, she said, "They're free, just let me know which ones you want," and brought us two of each to try. It's so refreshing to visit a place that doesn't nickel and dime you. After placing our order, I realized I forgot to get a patty for our dog. Karla came by to check on us, and when I told her, she said she would make sure it came out with our food. It actually came out a few minutes before, which was perfect so our dog could eat first. That level of care really stood out. As for the food, everything was delicious. The loaded fries were savory and rich with a perfectly cooked egg on top. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and the truffle fries with greens were a nice balance. The orange juice was honestly one of the best I've had. It was fresh, tangy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The space itself is bright, open, and welcoming. There are games at every table, and it's both dog friendly and family friendly. We'll definitely be back. Karla, thank you for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Absolutely loved their food and ambiance…read more For food, we got the adobo pork belly (comes with macaroni salad, rice, and vegetables on the side) and the pandan fried chicken (comes with rice and veggies on the side). Each dish was just enough for us to finish for breakfast. For drinks, we ordered the calamansi juice and calamansi iced tea. Both taste great. Side notes: You order up front, bring your table number, and sit wherever you like. They will bring you your food. Once youre done, please put your food away in the back, which is located on the left hand side of the deli if youre facing the deli at the entryway. It was busy on a Sunday around noon. About an hour if youre just there to have a quick meal, but families were gathering and spending time with no rush which i loved. No waitress or waiter to check on you, just only to bring you your food which took a reasonable 2 minutes for drinks and about 10 - 15 for food. Overall, we definitely recommend!

You pop them in the microwave but have to eat them quick otherwise the steam wears off and your French toast becomes stiff. They were not fresh, made from batter and cooked on a stove top. Good day, Yelpies,…read more There's something quietly remarkable about a restaurant that survives not just decades, but generations of changing tastes--and still manages to feel relevant. This establishment, which first opened its doors in Seattle in 1967 before relocating to Sea-Tac in 1976 under the guidance of the original owner's wife, carries with it more than just longevity--it carries legacy. Its name traces back to Lima, Peru, inspired by Las Trece Monedas--a folkloric tale of a humble young man who, armed with only thirteen coins, pledged unwavering love and devotion to win the heart of a wealthy man's daughter. It's a fitting origin story for a restaurant rooted in perseverance, passion, and heartfelt hospitality. Half a century later, those same values echo through every plate and every interaction. The menu delivers consistently satisfying fare, and the service operates with a rhythm that only comes from years of refinement. But perhaps most impressive is the sheer ambition of it all--executing quality food around the clock, 24 hours a day, is no small feat. It's the kind of operational endurance that deserves recognition on its own. Whether you arrive for breakfast at dawn, a late-night dinner, or anything in between, this is a place that meets you where you are--and feeds you well when you get there. Cheers --The Dutchman
