Look at the colors in that salad! It is definitely an "eat with your eyes" meal with an explosion of flavors in your mouth.

Nothing but good service and great food at this restaurant every time. Again, I had to go with the pick 2 combo because I just can't decide on 1. Plus, I make my husband order something different so I can taste 4 items. I ordered the roasted turkey panini and beet salad. This was probably my all time favorite and will definitely order it again. The cranberry horseradish sauce makes this panini top notch. The beet salad is fresh, colorful and an explosion of flavors that compliments each other. The owner, Terri, is always there to greet you at the door with a smile and welcome you back soon. I love the history of the building and the decor is fabulous.

Incredible birthday dinner last night! New menu items for August are wonderful! Love the blooming onion filet. Dad loved the truffle pork chop and my partner loved the seafood pasta. Great service as always at dinner. It was my birthday and they kindly gave me a chocolate berry torte at the end! Such a sweet surprise.

From great service to great food. Everyone was super friendly and I really enjoyed my brunch. The bloody Mary was excellent! There was some confusion on my order and it was fixed immediately. I can't wait to come back and sit on their patio, it looked super cute!

What a nice little spot for drinks and dinner in downtown Alton! We sat at the copper bar for drinks. Didn't order food but everything looked great coming out of the kitchen. This place is a bit upscale with a nice patio out back and plenty of room in the dining room. They also sell high quality wines. Great place to go for a date or take your parents/family out for a nice dinner!

We had a lovely dining experience at State Street Market. The tamale with white chocolate mole sauce was the hands down winner of our table, but the Asian fusion shrimp, bone in pork chops, and Moroccan salmon dishes were all excellent. The drinks were made and served to perfection. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this restaurant when we are in the area.

First of all, great environment, offer inside and outside seating. The drink selection were amazing, their mojito was so fresh and delicious. For the dishes we ended up with the risotto, the Yukon potato, and the spicy shrimp pasta. Honestly it blew me away. The flavor and taste was right on. For people who likes more bland and simple taste it might feel a little overpowering but for someone who grew up with Asian seasoning and flavor it was like heaven. I will be back many more times because I would like to try everything on the menu and I will be inviting everyone I know to try as well! Service was great, you can tell staff are busy but they are very attentive, parking could be a little tricky but there are many places you could park down the street or just in parking lots behind Main Street and just walk to the place. Highly recommend!!!

Adding the dip on top made it more of little pizza bites instead. Table favorite! Rigatoni alla vodka is my favorite pasta and I've had it at multiple establishments including my own kitchen and this one wasn't anything special. I actually couldn't taste the alla vodka part at all. It really just tasted like cheesy pasta with salmon. No real flavor. I guess that's why it's not listed as a crowd favorite. Ambiance is low lit and in the main dinning area, it can get really loud so if anyone is hard of hearing, it's best to get a reservation outside as it was difficult for one in our party. It didn't help that our waitress would step two steps back away from our table and let other waiters and waitresses pass in front of her instead of behind. Street parking is horrendous but my in-laws were able to find a spot right out front. We opted for the parking lots in the back as we don't mind walking a bit. It did rain a bit but we had an umbrella.

From the start, our Host was super friendly, welcoming and answered all your questions expertly. The menu is extensive and we had A LOT of food. One needs to look it over online first to get an idea what you'll have. We shared most of it between four of us. Highlights were the Questo de Cabra, which was Baked Goat Cheese in one of the tastiest thick and rich mariana style tomato sauces I've had with thin crusty Garlic Bread Pieces lightly toasted to perfection. The Albondigas, Pork and Beef Meatballs were absolutely delicious. A huge pile of Calamares Fritos, Fried Calamari was done perfectly crisp. It came with an aioli sauce, but we dipped them in the tomato sauce that came with the Goat Cheese. Excellent. A wonderful and oh so tasty Paella de Carne, Meat Paella was the main dish and it was as good as I've had in Spain if not better. For dessert, the Tres Leches, Spanish Milk Cake was exquisite and hard to describe outside of heaven on a plate. This is a place you can go to for a special occasion, or just to chill with family and friends. One thing for certain, we'll be back!

OpenTable showed a reservation available here, so we finally decided to give it a try--and we're so glad we did. Everything was fantastic. I started with the Green Turtle cocktail, made with Broker's Gin, cucumber, and basil, while my wife enjoyed a glass of Friulano. We opted to share several small plates, which turned out to be the perfect choice. We started with the Brussels sprouts and the goat cheese with bread, both excellent. I also had a cup of the chowder, which may have been my favorite thing of the entire meal. My wife ordered the nightly salad special with tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and balsamic dressing, and it was fresh and delicious. We considered ordering the flatbread as well, but by the time we finished everything else, we were completely stuffed. The service was spot-on from start to finish, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and everything was very reasonably priced. We're already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.

We're not regulars by any stretch of the imagination, but we've been here a number of times over the years. Sometimes it's just my husband and me, sometimes family members join us, and we've brought friends here as well. Nobody has ever not been happy they came here! We had a reservation and were greeted and seated right away. They have a big blackboard where they write the special drinks of the day, so I always have to check that out! They have small plates and entrees there. We almost always do all small plates. The exception is the shrimp and grits because we really like it! This time we did all small plates. The stuffed portabellini mushrooms were a newer menu item and they were SO good! I could have ordered more of those and been fine without anything else! Our next favorite was the oven baked goat cheese. We literally get it every time we come here and it's always delicious. Then we had the Nashville Chicken Sliders. They're good, but nothing super special. Our last item was the short rib street tacos. I'll just say we won't order them again. They weren't bad, but they were lacking in flavor. My cocktail was from the specials list. It was the Bitter Bonfire - made with mezcal - and it was so good! I think my husband had a Manhattan. We will, of course, be back again!
