First I would say, we bought our first Jeep Wrangler 2016 here, and have taken it here since we…read morepurchased, with great service. It has less than 90k miles, almost mint condition and we have babied it.
In the last 2yrs the quality and service is gone for us, I wouldn't go back if they paid us and here's why.
First incident - It started off with paying over $1400 for engine oil filter housing leak, "jeep oem part". Then less than a year later it's leaking again, took it in to fix and it took one day to fix, it lasted a few weeks before it started leaking again, took it back they said it would take around the same time, took like 4 days instead, with no communication, we got it back, they said everything's good and it already started leaking by next day, we took it back, told us it would be real quick, again and they kept it the whole day without any communication on how long, manager said the mechanic didn't tighten something or do something correct, now it's fixed... wtf is going on??
At this point, the jeep has been so far so good now
Second incident - During this service , I mentioned and asked a manager about new tires being put on, I said "someone previously during a service here at Jeep told me they didn't have the lifts or equipment to do big tires or lifted jeeps like that to do it correctly,"
Manager said no, we for sure can do it, just stop by we will handle it, it will take take like an hour...so I said to my wife I'm skeptical, specially after the previous visits but let's give them a chance. Brought it in with new expensive new tires around 4:45pm, again same no comms after 2.5 hours as we are staring at our jeep on lifts that no one has touched with couple tires off. I finally asked what's going on? Manager says he's the mechanic is having trouble with the equipment it broke?? Your tires are too big?? But will get it give us 45 more min... "And it's at this moment that I'm more worried about my truck, my new tires and old which old ones which I'd planned to sell, "like most" are going to be ok, over 1hour later, manager comes out says it's ready, will give a discount, I'm like how did it go, was it done right?
It was tuff we broke two pieces of our equipment, it was "your tires" the "size" was the issue. The old ones were cheaper tires they kind fell apart a bit taking them off, btw BS I've had the type tires swapped out before no issues by other companies. I asked well did you guys get it right, manager said yah I had to bring on the "senior mechanic" to swap out the tires and get it done...
So now I'm stuck with the previous tires which I doubt I can sell, one was brand new btw, the spare. I seriously worried that they might have jacked up my new tires putting them on, "almost $500 each btw" and if it was done right.
Again I would never go back, make sure you either now how too look over there work that gets done or get a second look from another company. What really pisses me off, like everyone knows , is they charge almost double in prices compared to other places..felt like a shady scam
Follow up, Aug 7 today, truck started over heating a bit, looks like they also didn't bleed radiator or refill the reservoir at all, after the oil filter housing swap...this last time...coolant reservoir completely empty, could of been a bad scenario. I've got plenty of documentation, prob time to call higher ups, even though I tried to previously call to talk to leadership, no response at all....none... can't believe the incompetence
