This place is by my work and I stop by sometimes for lunch. I usually sit at the bar so I get serviced quick! Beer selection is decent and gets the job done. I love their burgers! Everything on that burger menu rocks! Personal favorite is the Cajun kicker. I took my niece and her boyfriend who are both Michelen star chefs and they loved it. Get a burger! I asked our server for a recommendation and she said that the burgers are what they are known for... I ordered the Cajun Kicker and she was absolutely right! The food here is awesome! Great ranch! We come here to unwind after a long week. Bar selection is great and the sliders are fantastic! If you get the potato skins I suggest asking for a side of their homemade ranch. It has a garlic kick and is fantastic with the potato skins. read more

I didn't eat here but this place had customers who seemed to be enjoying the usual pub looking grub. The place looks nice especially for television viewing and is a cozy quick stop for your favorite beer. The bartenders was especially helpful and attentive and this is a good rare welcome addition to the DuPage County bar scene and will be a great place for NFL viewing. read more

The food is pretty good, and the staff is overall pretty good too. For the most part everyone is nice and the service is pretty good. Drink prices are pretty high tho for a little corner bar/pub. And one annoying thing is the happy hour prices. Recently I went there and they advertised a special on all domestics; however, I asked for Michelob ultra (which is a domestic) but apparently Michelob didn't apply to the happy hour prices. What a disappointment! We ordered an assortment of appetizers. Wings were dry. The French fries with cheese and bacon had only a couple of sprinkles of bacon. The chili did not taste homemade. We also ordered the Mexican Eggrolls. They had no flavor. If you go, stick with the beer. read more

I found out about this place through Groupon (which was an awesome deal, by the way). It's in an unassuming little strip mall, which to be honest, I wouldn't have really seen it before this, but the inside is very nice and open. I didn't sit at the bar, but the tables were right next to the TVs which was great. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and they had a nice selection of food on the menu. We got the sampler appetizers and a couple of burgers. My boyfriend commented on how good the quality of our food was and I have to agree. Service is great, Food is marginal, dining area is too LOUD for being only 1/2 full, parking is good. Prices are high: $6.00 for nine onion rings, which had oil driping from a few of them. HAMBURGER WAS GOOD. philly steak sandwich was awful, oversized bun was not soft, meat was one solid piece with gristle , not thinly butchered slices, and certaininly NOT worth the price. One of the best burgers I have had in a long time. One of our friends had the special which were the Bar B Que Ribs. He compared them to The Patio. They really did fall off the bone with had a very good tasting sauce. The other friend had a Chicken Penne Pasta which she said was just good. It had a small selection of some crafdt beers. The atmosphere was that of a sports bar. Many televisions showing several different games. The best part was our waitress. Desarayray (Desiree) was just great. She was a lot of fun and made you really feel welcome. Made you feel like you had been to this restaurant a dozen times before. Visited Stats Sports Bar & Grill yesterday, Sunday 10/26/2014 around 4pm. I was asked for an ID and bartender stared at my ID for at least 30 seconds...Very unusual, wasn't sure if she wanted to memorize my address or what but it was definitely weird. I understand you want to make sure I am old enough but don't make it so awkward. My friend and I ordered beer (quite expensive) and some appetizers. Once food arrived the bartender dropped off the bill asking us to settle it because of the change in shifts...I didn't even take a bite and she was already asking us to pay?! Really? Not cool if you ask me. She didn't even ask if we wanted anything else. What if I wanted another beer or more food? Well, we didn't have a chance to order anything else because we were rushed to pay the bill. I am certain I won't be coming back. read more

I've been to Stats a few times and the food has always been really good. Our servers have always been fun and great. We've brought friends here who have brought friends here....supporting a local business. My beef is with the manager. Our sweet server, and this has happened twice, was working by herself with multiple tables. She did a great job but come on....poor young lady. The manger was no where to be seen. My coworkers and I bought a Groupon to check out this place for the first time. My friend and I walked in and told the owner we both had groupons.. and we needed a table for 15 people.. everything was great. Once we ordered drinks and food and more people started coming, we were told only one groupon PER TABLE.. the waitress sent over the manager.. he was definitely unpleasant and just kept repeating "it says in the fineprint".. I told him to go ahead and put me at a different table to which he responded "well I know you'd just come over and talk to the others". For a place that just opened and relies on social media reviews, he handled the situation horribly and obviously appeared to not care about his customers. I feel that money meant more to him that treating his customers with respect. I won't come here again based on his attitude. Food is good. It seems that every time we stop in there is "something" going on - out of a mix for a drink (last night diet pepsi didn't taste right). Food choices are good. Kids menu is pricey for portion size, Mac n Cheese is like a side portion and you just get a bowl w/ cheesey noodles - no fries or fruit which is very odd. Well, this is my second attempt at the place. The first time we were at the bar and it started off nice. We were the only ones at the bar, and a man came and sat right next to us . He was on our phone and talking loudly. The bartender also seemed to huver over us,to the point that we felt we didn't have privacy. The place is pretty, the only problem is, I'm not sure if they are going for a restaurant or a bar. I asked music to be turned up since I paid for credits. They did but still was not loud enough. We left without ordering dinner. We did however have the nachos, they were decent. Today was are second attempt, we arrived and sat at a bar table. We came to watch the Blackhawks game. We came eArly. We walked in and the host was dressed pretty frumpy.she was also chomping on gum. She was not friendly and seemed to not want to be there at all. We were sat. The server was very nice, probably the best thing about our experience. Before we even had our drinks or a server, a lady walked over and asked how everything was? Um we have not been helped or received our drinks. So it was a bit odd, she continued to table touch the whole time we were there. It was a bit overwhelming. I asked for the music to be turned up again, it never happen. Which is a bit annoying since we had the same issue previously. Then I was told the game is starting and they would be turning the sound on. So once again I wasted money on credits. We watched a bit of the game, and left. The chairs are not comfy and the tvs are not set up well, it's not a great place to watch games. . The way the tables are set up to the tvs, makes it hard to chat with friends and watch the games. We once again left before having dinner. I'm not sure we will return. We thought it would be more of a chicago sports bars. The sound in the bar is awful as well. Seems like its in the dinning area but not the bar. The manager seemed nice, I just feel there was a lot that could have been done to make the place more bar appropriate. Also the constant servers, customers, and others walking by the bar tables made it impossible to concentrate on anything. read more

Great server, great ambiance. Decent food. Poor customer service from Bar manager who turned off the music we just payed for because a basketball game was on. When we mentioned to him that we just paid for the music, he asked us how much and then never offered to refund our money and said it was out of his control. This is my second visit. The first visit was when they first opened, and my experience was pretty good. The experience that I had today was miserable. The food was blah. Raw bacon on the "grilled cheese" and the French fries with Feta were pretty lame and soggy. Food took over an hour to arrive. I will probably not visit here again. read more

I just had dinner at Stats Bar & Grill, and had the 1/2 priced Sunday Pasta Special. We each ordered the Mac & Cheese which was listed on the menu for $10.95. I also asked if they had Garlic Bread. The waitress said they did but it wasn't on the menu. I asked how much it was and the waitress said she thought it was $3.50? When the bill came I was charged $12.96 for the two pastas. I asked another waitress to let me see the menu again and, yes it was $10.95 not $12.96. Again, since it was 1/2 price, it should have been two of them for $10.95. When our waitress came back to the table I explained the problem, and her response was that is what the computer charges, and that is what it always has been, but she would go talk to the manager. Both the waitress & the owner worked on the bill behind a computer for 5 minutes and then the waitress brought the check back showing a deduction of $1.06. Prior to making it back to my table the waitress stopped to chit chat with some regular customers that just arrived. In fact only one person was starting to sit at the table. She asked them if they wanted sodas. She then delivered my updated bill and I again explained that this wasn't correct and the deduction should be $2.01 and that both of the pastas should be $10.95. She seemed frustrated with me and walked away with the multiple sets of receipts. But instead of getting my problem resolved she though that it was more prudent to get the sodas for the customers that weren't even seated yet. I got upset with the idea that she felt my problem wasn't as important as the customers that hadn't even been seated yet, so I approached her and told her just to charge me the new incorrect amount so that I could leave. When I was pulling out of the parking space the owner came out to chase me down. I explained everything to him however his demeanor was like he was debating my impressions of my experience visiting his establishment. After we spoke I wondered why he even followed me if his attitude was to debate me on my experience rather than to listen to what I had to say! read more
