    Chilean Seabass Plate
    Scarlett H.

One of the most beautiful restaurants I've been in LA. I took some friends here to celebrate a special occasion and the first impression was wonderful: elegant setting that blends the indoor and outdoor seamlessly. The staff was warm and welcoming. We were greeted and seated promptly. They were having some wine promotion that night so we were told a few times about it; but we are not into wines - I thought it would be easier, for both sides, if they just asked if we had any interest in wine first. We were told they are famous for their tableside cart service, where they mix and toss the Caesar salad right in front of you. We ordered that and was delighted by the nice service and the salad. For the main course, two of us ordered steaks; one of them liked it and the other, who is a steak connoisseur, said it was just okay. I ordered the seabass and honestly it was disappointing - dry and plain with not much flavor. Granted that they are a steakhouse, I've had seafood prepared very nicely in so many steakhouses that I found this surprising. We did have a very nice finale when they brought out the firework with the dessert. I noticed many tables got it so it must be another one of their specialties. Overall a good place to go for special occasions. But with their price point, I think the main courses should be a little better.

This was actually the most perfect dinner. I have been staying in a lot so going out tonight was much needed and Boa helped make our night so special! William, Joel, and Derrick were all phenomenal but everyone was really kind and attentive the whole time. The ambience on the back patio is so cozy and sexy -- it has a cool elevated & classy, jungle atmosphere with interesting lights and earthy decor. The food was SO GOOD. We ordered the crudo and burrata and realized we needed bread to dip in the yummy sauces and cheese, so we also ordered the house rolls & butter. The steak frites were so tender and a little sweet and we upgraded the fries to truffle... extra decadence. Overall it was a 10/10 experience with great service, high quality food and presentation, plus a warm atmosphere! I look forward to coming back to try more food.

Love BOA steakhouse, the caviar and tuna cones are delicious and to die for. We ordered three rounds. The steaks are juicy and cooked just right. Also ordered a glass of red Pinot Noir to pair with the steak. The service is great and ambience is moderate noise. There is valet in front of the restaurant.

5 stars! Came here to celebrate with my closest friends and it was such a great choice for the occasion. Valet made arrival easy and the whole night felt smooth from the start. The restaurant is nice and has a polished atmosphere that feels perfect for a celebration or special night out. Service was top notch the entire evening. Attentive, professional, and warm without hovering. One detail I really appreciated was our server cutting up the steak for us tableside, which added a nice touch and made the experience feel elevated. The steak was delicious, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. You can tell the quality is there. Drinks were perfectly crafted. Definitely a memorable night with amazing service, great food, and even better company. I'd definitely come back for another celebration.

Boa was great. The ambience is nice and the staff is very welcoming. The Caesar salad is a must! As for the rest of the food.... It's good. Is it the best steakhouse? No. Is it a good steakhouse? Yeah. I personally think it's a little overpriced for the quality you get. Definitely go if you've never been but I don't think I'd go back

Kenneth was our busser/runner, and he was AMAZING! I truly hope he becomes a server because he absolutely has the knowledge, charm, and professionalism for it. All of the staff were wonderful and the food was incredible, but Kenneth really made our experience stand out. His attentiveness and personality made the entire evening that much more enjoyable!

Came to celebrate Mothers Day and was not disappointed. The food and service were both excellent. Made a reservation through OpenTable and had no issues getting seated. There is street parking nearby if you don't want to pay for Valet. Food was all excellently seasoned, and the steak was cooked perfectly, well work the price in my opinion. Our server was super helpful offering recommendations as it was our first time. Great spot for a special occasion!

Service is always excellent here. Thank you so much Roy, James , &Drew !!!! The best team. Great dinner vibes. Some areas of the dining room are more quiet and romantic and some more lively. Personal favorite here is dessert time. The cheesecake always hits.

Came here with a large group to celebrate a birthday, and it turned out to be a great spot for a special occasion. We ordered a several dishes to share, and everything felt very well thought out from both a flavor and presentation standpoint. The table was constantly full, starting with caviar cones, lobster tail, bone marrow with toast, tempura cauliflower, lobster ravioli, steak tartare, and of course several steaks. What really stood out was the presentation. Many dishes arrived with a bit of flair, some under caged smoke, others torched table side, which made the experience feel fun and elevated without being over the top. The steaks were cooked well, the seafood felt rich and indulgent, and even the sides held their own. Overall, it was a solid choice for a birthday dinner with a big group. Great energy, shareable dishes, and great music.

My wedding dinner was held here in a large private room (PDR1 + PDR 2) on 11/1/25 and it was absolutely perfect. Huge shoutout to Paul Antosca for guiding us and making sure everything was perfect since day one. To the servers who helped serve everyone (approx 45 people) you all were absolutely amazing. Timely, friendly and you all made sure every single person was accommodated. The food was without a doubt outstanding and the drinks never stopped coming lol Shoutout to Inga (ig: @kiiraco) for decorating everything. It was so beautiful.

Delicious meal and 5 star service at BOA on Sunset. We were promptly seated at arrival for our reservation, nice indoor/outdoor seating and ambiance. Music is on but not obnoxiously loud, so you can carry on a conversation. Our waiter Guy, was helpful and knowledgeable. We went with a few of his suggestions and loved our meal. Steaks were quality and cooked just right to Medium. Drinks were great, dessert delicious. A must try here are the Caviar cones - yum! Valet outside is discounted a bit for restaurant guests.

First time at Boa and the sleek modern feel does not disappoint the eyes. The service was also superb with never needing to ask for a thing. My cucumber gimlet was perfectly made and paired nicely with the delicious Caesar. The steaks presentation lacked what I would have expected but the flavor was good! The broccoli and Mac b cheese were a miss and had very off flavorings; would advise skipping those! The dessert wasn't bad but nothing to rave about, the s'mores were dense and very rich in a dark chocolate flavor and the cheesecake was pretty standard. Great vibe and place but some dishes aren't worth it.

Stopped by for a birthday dinner and had a great time. I ordered a cocktail (the boa fusion) which was strong and sweet so a perfect balance. I ordered the wagyu meatball for an appetizer which was delicious and fork tender. You receive a large meatball with sauce, cheese and bread. I ordered the halibut, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts for my main and it was all delicious. I preferred a more flavorful fish, but the white wine sauce sautéed the spinach perfectly. All in all, staff was nice, restaurant aesthetic is immaculate and I definitely will be returning.

The staff also wears gloves when handling food. There are no hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor & outdoor seating available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was eating my food in this establishment, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently do have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: They only have valet parking here. Valet parking is $15 not including tip. Apparently during peak business hours or during the holidays, they will jack up the prices for valet parking. You have been warned! The best part about solo dining is eating whatever the hell I want without any judgement or pushbacks from other people. And I could eat at my own pace and people watch. Food and Drinks: At the bar, I ordered their famous berries and bubbles cocktail. It is famously crafted with a mix of citrus-infused vodka, fresh lemon juice, marinated blackberries, and a splash of brut, topped with dry ice to create a billowing, theatrical smoke effect. This drink was incredibly fruity and refreshing. The perfect alcoholic beverage for the summer. When I finally got my own table, I ordered their famous jumbo lump crab cake, lobster bisque, and caviar as my three appetizers. The jumbo lump crab cake is a signature appetizer here at Ocean Prime. I like their generous portion of premium crab meat and its elegant presentation. It is served alongside a sweet and sour slaw and a zesty horseradish mustard aioli. The crab cake was very tender and sweet. It balances the richness of the crab with the bright, slightly spicy kick of the aioli. It was baked to perfection. The lobster bisque was so yummy and creamy. It is a rich, velvety soup made with tender lobster meat and a flavorful broth. I like that they have generous, tender pieces of butter-poached Maine lobster in the soup. Ah yes. The Sturgeon caviar. Yes, I am a fancy and extra woman, and I have extremely expensive taste in food. I love me some artisanal caviar. Yum! Anyways, this wasn't on their menu, and I had to special request this. Caviar served on mini pancakes?!?! Say less! I loved how fluffy and soft the mini pancakes were. The caviar had a luxurious, buttery texture. It also had a subtle briny flavor. I found that the caviar bursts on the palate rather than tasting overly fishy. Honestly, putting the caviar on top of the sweet mini pancakes was brilliant because the mini pancakes acted as a neutral canvas so the distinct briny taste of the caviar could shine through. Moreover, I ordered the lobster linguine and sea scallops. The lobster linguine is a popular seafood entrée featuring fresh al dente cooked linguine tossed with succulent lobster meat, roasted tomato butter, arugula, chili flakes, and freshly grated parmesan. Btw, I hate arugula, so I asked the staff to remove it from this dish. Flavor wise, this dish had a delicate balance of rich roasted tomato butter and a kick of spice from chili flakes. I'm a sucker for all things pasta, so this dish hit the spot and satisfied my pasta craving. The sea scallops were fire!!! The jumbo sea scallops were perfectly seared to a golden brown, moist, and tender. The sea scallops were severed on a bed of lobster risotto. The lobster risotto was very rich and creamy. They used a rich Arborio rice cooked with chunks of melt in your mouth lobster, roasted tomatoes, and a savory shellfish. This dish won my heart. And finally, for desserts, I ordered their famous 10 layer carrot cake and creme brûlée. Now, normally, I hate carrot cakes, but since this was highly recommended, I decided to give this a shot. Needless to say, I still hate carrot cake, but I could appreciate this restaurant's take on this dessert. The cake itself was very moist and tasted spicy due to the cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. This dessert is layered with lots of cheese icing and pineapple syrup. I found the cream cheese icing and whipped cream to be extremely delectable, but that's about it. The creme brûlée is a classic and indulgent dessert featuring a rich, velvety vanilla custard, a perfectly crisp caramelized sugar crust, and fresh seasonal berries. I loved the warm and crunchy top, and I truly enjoyed the rich, vanilla-scented custard. Staff: The staff here are very welcoming, attentive, and chill. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

The service is exceptional-warm, polished, and effortlessly attentive without feeling stuffy like many other restaurants in BH. The dining room strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort, with a refined, understated design that lets the food remain the star while still making the entire experience feel luxurious. As for the food... it's honestly difficult to put into words. These aren't the standard Italian dishes you'll find at most restaurants. Every plate feels thoughtful, creative, and incredibly well executed. Seafood is clearly the focus, and it shines here. The crudos, the apps, the pastas, all beautifully balanced, packed with flavour, and some of the best I've had anywhere. Everything about Marea feels intentional, from the service to the atmosphere to the execution of every dish. It's the kind of restaurant where every course leaves you excited for the next. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants in Beverly Hills, and I genuinely think Marea might be the best of them all.

The entire waitstaff excelled at their craft, but our server, Robert, deserves special recognition. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job allowing us to feel cared for but never rushed. We requested that he course the meal out and he did a great job, never letting the table feel overcrowded. His passion for the food and heartfelt hospitality were major contributors to our outstanding evening. As for the food, we enjoyed every dish that came to the table. To start, we shared the Carciofi e Cuori di Palma, Branzino Tartare, Tonno Acqua Pazza Crudo, and Granchio e Caviale. Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with bold, balanced flavors. Even the bread service was remarkable, particularly the focaccia, which was the standout among the three varieties offered. For our entrées, we enjoyed the Marubini, Spaghetti, Mafaldine, and Casarecce, all of which were fantastic. The house-made pastas were each cooked to perfection and showcased the kitchen's exemplary technique and care. We also shared the Fagiolo, Peperone, and Patate as vegetable sides, and each one was excellent. We concluded our meal with a trio of house-made gelati for a sweet finish. The sweet cream and pistachio flavors were both especially memorable and well worth saving a little room for. To top it all off, the restaurant graciously provided some petit fours, compliments of the house. Marea delivered the sophistication you expect from a world-class restaurant by pairing remarkable food and impeccable service. This meal easily ranks among the best we have enjoyed in 2026 and will undoubtedly remain at the top of our list for some time. Thank you for an incredible evening. See you next time!

The first bite gives you that textbook contrast chefs chase: a thin, savory Maillard snap, then cool, silky flesh that still tastes of the sea rather than smoke, which tells me it was hit hard over heat to render the skin and pulled off at the precise moment before the proteins tightened. Grilled lemon halves, their edges caramelized, are doing real work here--squeezes of that charred citrus cut through the fish's natural oiliness--while the thin ribbons of pickled red onion and peppery microgreens supply the bright, acidic punctuation that keeps the palate moving. Slices of avocado act as a soft, creamy foil, lengthening the finish without smothering the fish, and the halved cherry‑tomato salad looks lightly dressed so you get clean sweetness and a crisp counterpoint rather than a soggy, overdressed side. From a technical standpoint I appreciate the fundamentals: even scoring or oiling of the skin to prevent sticking, careful timing so the flakes separate cleanly, and a sparing hand with seasoning so the brine of the fish isn't lost under salt or heavy sauces. Many places feel compelled to gild seafood with every trendy condiment; here, the restraint is refreshing and, frankly, rarer than it should be. Service matched the cooking: friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to steer us through the menu with solid recommendations, which matters when a kitchen is doing delicious things well. The restaurant itself is calm and clean, a peaceful setting with a bar that lets the food speak, and last time I was there they were in the process of securing a beer and wine license--good news, because this kind of balanced, grill‑forward cooking benefits from a thoughtful pour. In short, this meal stands out because it trusts the ingredient: confident grilling, smart acid, and honest accompaniments that clarify rather than compete, leaving you satisfied and already thinking about the next visit. As for the house-made salsa: stainless ramekins on a white plate, each with its own tiny spoon - bright yellow emulsion, lacquered dark reduction, smoky-red chile purée, and a chunky herb relish. The emulsion is silky and tangy, perfect for cutting fat; the dark sauce is sticky, umami-forward and built to cling; the red one carries smoke on oil and is medium-hot; the relish snaps with fresh acid and crunch. Important heads-up: one of these is a ghost-pepper style salsa - extremely spicy, slow-building and long-lingering, so use it as a finish, not a dunk. Execution is tidy: no broken emulsion, measured viscosities, portioned so flavors don't bleed - practical, disciplined work. In an era of one-trick "house sauce" laziness, this quartet gives you tools, not excuses, and it elevates whatever's on the grill without stealing the show. I'll definitely be back here!

The service here is excellent and everything ran smoothly with zero issues. The bread and butter here is excellent while waiting for your meal. I had the beef stroganoff, which is a comfort dish for me. It's hearty and delicious so I couldn't wait to try this dish. I was certainly surprised because I was not expecting it to be incredibly flavorful. It was so good I couldn't stop eating it. Highly recommended! We ended our meal with the devil's advocate flourless chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream, which was delicious for being flourless. What a perfect way to end a tasty meal. My only complaint is the parking because we didn't know where we could park. We ended up getting a ticket because we thought we could park nearby. Overall, I'd give 3.5 stars. Granville is a chain restaurant, similar to the likes of Olive garden,…read moreChilies, etc, but probably a tad more upscale in terms of the overall decor and vibe. Service was fine, but nothing special. We were greeted, seated and the waitress took our orders. Once the food arrived, our waitress barely came by again except towards the end to drop off our check. Other staff did come by to clear our empty plates from the table, so that was nice. We did notice that they only provided 1 serving spoon for all of our dishes. Would've liked a serving utensil with each dish to minimize cross-contamination and mixing of flavors. Throughout our dining, there were flies and small bugs flying around, which was off-putting and annoying as we had to keep swatting them away from landing on our food. 1. Farmhouse Beet Salad (5/5) It's a good thing this was the 1st dish to arrive at our table as it left a good 1st impression. The roasted organic beets were fresh and had that earthy-tone to it. Dressed with their lemon-oregano vinaigrette, feta, arugula, and candied pecans. OMG, those candied pecans were heavenly. It's crunchy and toasted to perfection. the candied flavor of it was addictingly delicious. If they have a menu item of candied pecans, I'll order it any day. 2. Trio Taco (2.5/5) You can choose between chicken, steak, shrimp, plant-based chicken, or jackfruit. We opted for steak. The steak was fine, but for BBQ sauce used was just a dish killer. They need to rethink the choice of sauce used in these tacos. Also, not a fan of corn tortilla. Wish they gave a choice between corn and flour tortilla. 3. Artisan Bread & Butter (5/5) Their sourdough bread sliced, grilled and brushed generously with garlic olive oil. Severed with a side of whipped duckfat butter. I've never had duck fat butter before, so this was a pleasant experience to try. Not to worry, there's no duck flavor at all. It's almost like cream cheese but lighter and airer. 4. Ahi Filet (1.5/5) Sesame-crusted ahi with a side wasabi aioli. The ahi was so-so; definitely, not the freshest and there's no "melt-in-your mouth" joy. The wasabi aioli sauce was good though. There is a subtle spice kick from the wasabi. It's served with a side of soba noodles that was gingery and peanuty in flavor. Unfortunately, the noodles were overcooked as they stuck to each other in clumps. 5. Bacon & Blue Burger (4.5/5) Quite a satisfying burger consisting of wagyu beef, duroc bacon, aged blue cheese, caramelized onions, and arugula. It's juicy, meaty, slightly tangy from the horseradish aioli and sweet from the port wine reduction. The brioche bun was pleasantly soft. 6. Thai Ginger Salad (3/5) This salad consists of romaine lettuce as the base. It is dressed with Thai sesame dressing, which was underwhelming. The toppings for this salad include fresh mango cubes, slaw, slices of avocado, fresh peanut bits, tomato and soba noodles. It's not a bad salad, but for the price, I do not think it is worth it. 7. Superfood Longevity Salad (4/5) A salad consisting of mixed greens (lacinato kale and spring mix) with a variety of rich, nutritious toppings (organic beets, quinoa, pomegranate, radish, blueberries, almonds, dried Bing cherries, and pepitas). The dressing is a sherry vinaigrette that's tangy, creamy and light. All the ingredients came together well. If you are looking for a hearty salad, this is for you. 8. Hibiscus Rosé (4/5) Sparkling rosé with hibiscus flavor infused with grapefruit skin to give it a bit of citrus note and topped off with a micro flower to add a special touch of decor to the drink. In summary, the food looks better than it actually tastes. Come here if you want to eat out with a large party for celebration, but otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it for a special night out as the price does not justify the experience.
