Better than last time Food was better, place was cleaner then last time, employees were nicer and food was better too I gotten my food in like 3 minutes The only con is some of the food such as the chili got me a little sick and was awful It was calm there too and not bad of a mood

Chicken Fingers, French fries, double cheese burger

Best steak 'n Shake experience I have ever had. All workers were very nice and genuine. Popular Older music was playing the entire time, food was amazing. Overjoyed with my experience

My first visit to Kentucky started with eating at this place. It's definitely something that I won't encounter often especially since California doesn't have restaurants like these. Had the garlic cheeseburger and I thought it was ok. The fries were crispy but they didn't bring out as much cheese for these fries. As for the burger, it was similar to the Buttery Jack from Jack in the Box. Service was fine, it was mostly just helping yourself out at the end. This place is clean and there is no sanitary issues.

Once again, had a great experience at this location a year later. Didn't even realize but I ordered the same thing as I did a year ago. Tasted just as good as it did the last time. Maybe even better. Took less than five minutes to get my food which is always good. And I was there for happy hour so my shake was half off. Will definitely return to this location in the future.

My perception prior to arrival: you cannot mess up french fries smothered in chili and cheese. My perception afterwards: you can mess up french fries smothered in chili and cheese. On the bright side: the server was very kind and attentive.

    Thumbs down.

Busy place but not for the right reason. The crew and management are slow, unconcerned and offer little service or explanations as to why service is so bad.

My husband and I took advantage of our big kid watching the little and went to lunch and ran errands. We were close to steak and shake and also longhorns (a favorite) but we wanted burgers so went with the diner. -- busy when we arrived- I have only been a handful of times and never had a bad experience but it's never been busy when I have been there. The busyness just added to the fun and did not affect the speed at which food arrived or getting drinks or assistance.. good job! -food--- we both got the 4 for 4$ with cheeseburger, fries, cole slaw, and a cookie... I substituted the slaw for salad and it was awesome. Nice fresh salad, LOVE the skinny fries and they were hot, and the burger was awesome! We were there right before 2 pm and was going to get a half price shake to go since we'd hit their happy hour but we were both too full and satisfied from our tasty lunch. Service-- excellent! Courteous, professional, happy and friendly. Our waitress, Natasha, was there when we needed here and was genuine. When I asked her a basic question about something I just needed an opinion on- about myself- ultimately, she made me feel good while eating food that tastes really good (though my health my scoff :) The overall mood where we were sitting was just happy... a good song came on and employees were singing quietly and just appeared to be enjoying doing their job.... Thank you.

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I decided to order via doordash & I ordered a hot dog. I took a bite of the hotdog and noticed the bread was hard, I took a look at the bun and it had MOLD on it! How are you going to serve customers moldy food?! There's no way whoever was making it didn't see the mold. My husband said his hamburger tasted bad.

You've got everything from burgers and loaded fries to sushi rolls, which sounds like an odd combo but somehow works perfectly. The vibe is casual and upbeat, with TVs around for games and a lively crowd most nights. It's the kind of place where you can go with kids, meet friends for drinks, or just grab a quick dinner without feeling rushed. Food-wise, the burgers are consistently good juicy, flavorful, and actually cooked right. The sushi is surprisingly fresh for a non-traditional sushi spot, I love the surf and turf roll, me and my husband get it everytime, and it's a fun option if you want to mix things up. The appetizers are definitely worth it too, especially if you're sharing.

We sat outside last night and there is litter all over the place. (See photos). We had to try 4 different tables to sit somewhere without trash and food on the ground at our feet. And the outside tables were sticky. Once we saw someone wiping down tables. Not often enough in my opinion. And food is not the best. Extremely salty and greasy. The Caesar salad was good but the patty melt lacked the flavor punch I expected. I only ate half of it. My husband said the same thing about his morning glory burger. Happy hour specials are decent but probably not good enough for us to come back for our regular Thursday happy hour meet up.

It is located in a Kroger strip mall area but is slightly higher class than what one might think when they hear that. It was a weird off-peak time so it was no issue getting seated right away and service was pretty good. We started our late lunch and our vacation with a cocktail, both of which were pretty tasty! I wanted to make sure I got some veggies in me before a week+ of vacation eating, so I got a side salad, which was pretty ample for a side! I also got the mushroom ricotta dip appetizer as a "meal" and it was pretty delicious! Cheese, mushrooms and carbs...you can't go wrong with that in my opinion! We had an okay time, and we were able to dawdle and not be rushed. It wasn't our first choice on the day and likely wouldn't be at another time, but it was more than decent as a secondary/back-up choice for a place to eat.

The restaurant was clean and modern and had a great menu selection. The kids meals are $8 and come with a drink and side. I liked that they were really food just kids size versions. We had the sliders and chicken and waffles. On the adult menu we tried the cod dinner, hot honey chicken sandwich and pretzels and beer cheese. They also had a great selection of desserts.

While traveling in northern Kentucky, he stumbled upon one of these places, The Farmstand Market & Cafe. Farmstand offers comfort food with a farm-to-table focus served in a cozy space with a bar and attached market. We started with the Goetta Hanky Panky Dip. This was made with cheesy goetta, bagel chips, pumpernickel bread, and light rye served in a cast iron skillet. The dip had a good sausage flavor with salt and some light spice while being cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor. The bagel chips were very crispy but were not served warm. The pumpernickel and rye were dry. Each complimented the dip, adding texture to the bite. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich. This sandwich came with sliced corned beef, homemade Thousand Island, pickled pig sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on light rye with bacon ranch pasta salad. The pasta salad was cooked spot on while also being creamy. The bacon added crunch and saltiness to the salad. The rye had a great toast, and the Thousand Island was tangy and creamy. The pastrami was dry but had a good salty flavor. The sauerkraut was crunchy and had a good sour flavor cutting through the salty meat and the sweet dressing. The cheese was gooey and nutty and added flavor to each bite. I sampled the French dip sandwich and Mulligatawny soup. This was prepared with a sliced top round with provolone on a French roll. The soup was prepared with rice, chicken, carrots, onions, celery, lentils and spices. The chicken was very tender, the rice was cooked well, and the vegetables added texture to the rice. The soup was flavorful, had a wonderful aroma, and had a good salt content. The top round was thin and offered good flavor and chew. The roll was fresh and had a good chew paired with the ooey and gooey cheese with an excellent buttery flavor. The au jus had good flavor but was slightly salty, which overpowered it. Farmstand offers grilled cheeses, hot sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, soups and main entrees. They also serve beer and have a full bar. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. The Fat Man says that The Farmstand Market & Cafe is Fat Man Approved with 1 chin.
