This is as good as it gets! Come see them every Monday, because they rock, and if you? Then you will too.

It is a great intimate venue with lots of history and great sound. We parked about a half mile away and a public lot by the West Hollywood library, parking was only 12 bucks and it was a nice short walk to the venue and no traffic getting g out when we left the show. The event was sold out, and we got there right when doors opened. The line out front was not too long and security kept everybody moving really quick. Full bar and food inside. The main room is tiny, so anywhere you stand you will have a great view of the performers. I definitely plan to come back to see another show here, wish I had caught shows here in the past... Great venue.

Especially since BTS had their first American performance at this venue years ago o was a fan girl just being here. It looks like they have a valet parking stand and there is some street parking out front. I was next door and I needed to find an atm for cash and they have an atm inside of troubadour and since their event was over, they were kind enough to let me in to use their atm.

Came here with this group of friends for an after dinner drink, but from what I could see, there was a really solid selection of spirits, including some really high-end rare bottles. I think there weee also food items, but really didn't notice since we were specifically coming in for drinks There was also a pretty extensive menu of different cocktails as well. The person helping us was very, very friendly and helpful. The level of service here is really amazing - I mean I wouldn't expect anything less. I ordered a cocktail called Locked and Loaded. I often order whisk(e)y straight up but the cocktails sounded great here. I have to say...the Locked and Loaded has to be one of the best cocktails I ever had personally - it contained both bourbon and scotch (a really smokey/ peaty one at that), as well as egg white. The result was a cocktail that had a nice, full mouthfeel and a great balance of sweet and smoke. I really enjoyed this cocktail. There was also a fun art installation that apparently costed a lot of money to commission or purchase. I'm no art connoisseur, but at first glance, it looked like a non functioning fuse box. I didn't realize it was an art installation until other patrons were taking pics of it.

Have no fear, for park validation is here. When I got into CUT Lounge, I found the server to be most attentive and personable. I was seated quickly and introduced to the lounge. Now it's important to note that the menu is exactly the same as the restaurant next door. The ambiance is more laid back with large screen TV for sports. There was a huge bar or cushioned seating at the tables -- choice is yours. I think I like the intimate nature of the lounge. It was more relaxing and I found solitude. Maybe it was earlier in the evening or because it was a week day. For drinks I ordered one of their negronis, which had a unique taste that was rather different from the negroni I've had in the past. I think there were two types of negronis on the menu, and this one had the aged alcohol. My memory is fuzzy, but I believe I ordered the dry aged ribeye, which I asked to be cooked medium rare. Now in other steakhouses, when you ask for medium rare they give you rare steak. Here, the steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare. It's got that nice crust on the outside and succulent tenderness on the inside. This is good steak. I don't think I've had better yet. For my sides, I ordered the cream spinach, which had an interesting twist with the egg. I think it added to the creamy texture perhaps? I also had the Yukon gold potato puree, which after eating it seems like a fanciful way of saying mashed potatoes. All's well and tasted fabulous.

Perched above the city with incredible views, it manages to feel both glamorous and comfortable. Whether you're celebrating something special or simply enjoying a night out, the setting alone makes the evening memorable. The service is polished and attentive, the cocktails are expertly crafted, and the food is everything you'd expect from Mastro's: beautifully prepared, indulgent, and consistently excellent. Add live music and a room full of energy, and you've got the kind of atmosphere that encourages you to stay longer than planned. There are plenty of restaurants with great views and plenty with great food. The Penthouse at Mastro's delivers both, which is why it remains one of my favorite spots for a classic Los Angeles night out. You feel like you are on vacation. This place might have been a hotspot a decade ago, but it clearly hasn't kept up. We came as a party of six and every single person left disappointed, which says a lot. The biggest issue was the food quality. We ordered a wide range of items, including sushi, steaks, sides, and dessert -- and not one dish impressed. Service however was great - 2 stars for that .  Both sushi dishes had to be sent back, which is already a bad start for a restaurant of this caliber. The steaks, which should be the highlight, were underwhelming and but not terrible. Sides didn't redeem the experience either, infact the lobster mac and cheese, in particular, was shockingly bad. It tasted like microwaved Kraft with a tiny, almost nonexistent piece of lobster. Our favorite item on the menu was the bread basket and bone marrow.  Even dessert fell flat, which is rare to mess up but somehow still happened. For a group of self-proclaimed food lovers, this was genuinely surprising -- and not in a good way. There are far better options at this price point. Steak 48 easily outshines Mastro's in both quality and execution, and even BOA along with BLVD deliver a more consistent and enjoyable experience. Overall, a VERY disappointing night and absolutely not worth the price point. You're better off literally in any steakhouse but this one.

It's located in a really busy area of Hollywood on the Sunset Strip. I've only been to this venue twice that I can think of. Previously to watch a band I really enjoyed called Two Gallants. My most recent visit was for a comedy/ music night. It was during the Netflix is a joke festival entail. The concept of the show was comedians would go on and do a 10 to 15 minute set then they would either perform or perform an instrument for a song of their choosing. The show I went to had some heavy hitters! Including Bill Burr, Nikki Glaser, Brad Williams, and Jelly Roll among others. Bill Burr played on the drums for a Beastie Boys cover. Nikki Glaser did a Taylor Swift song and a duet with surprise guest Jason Mraz. Such a cool experience. If it wasn't so hard to get to this area of town for me or find parking in the area. I think I would come here more often. Otherwise, it's a bit of a pain.
