Your food is terrible! The cream of crab soup was made in a clam based broth!! Who does that? Your sunset shrimp I think they are called had very little flavor! The tacos I got barely had any sauce on the shrimp and it certainly was not spicy! Bonefish def has you beat in every department! Even the tuna Takati? Was lacking in any flavor- you could barely taste any wasabi in that white crap you drizzled over the barely warmed tuna- it was too thickly sliced - I love ahi tuna slivered with a good wasabi sauce and some soy sauce- everything we ordered I could have found better in so many places ! I was really surprised how many people were there, but I guess they have never had really great fish/shrimp tacos or correctly prepared ahi- sashimi grade tuna! All in all a huge check for totally sub par food! I will be posting this on all social media and review sites ! Unfortunately we forgot to pick up the receipt - so cannot provide but we went to the bel air restaurant around 8 pm- our server however, a nice black man was very attentive and patient and pleasant. read more

Loved every piece of my dinner last night! The menu is very large and can accommodate any type of eater. We started with the calamari- which was just okay and for 9 or 10$ you dont get a large portion so it was not my favorite thing, the lemon aioli was delish! My boyfriend had the lobster mac and cheese and yes was it everything you dreamed it to be and more! So delicious and creamy with real large pieces of lobster tucked in. I had the filet with surf and turf and my steak was cooked to perfection of medium rare and the steamed broccoli was very tasty. I wish they would offer a side salad on their menu but overall we were very happy! The Death by Chocolate cake was big enough for 4 people to eat! The only thing I could say was that this restaurant is very loud as it is very open. We will be back for more! read more

Excellent food. Dynamite dog is excellent. The steel fish salad is incredible. I recommend it with the blackened salmon. Food took a little while to come...but it was ok because the band played some great music. I recommend the outside patio. You will not be upset. Enjoy a game of corn hole while you wait. read more

We had been here a couple times and it's always been pretty good but we had an exceptional visit this time on a very busy Friday evening before Father's Day. We made reservations, they were able to take us right in and we got the pleasure of being served by Brittany #3040. It's been a long time since I felt like I've received service like she gave us. Very attentive, didn't forget anything, super friendly, didn't linger too long or leave us waiting. My daughter even accidentally burned herself on my Mothers food and she brought out a bag of ice. The food was excellent as well, but Brittany was really great and deserves recognition. We'll be back again. read more

Great menu with a variety of options. We like sitting at the bar and ordering food, the main bartender is attentive yet doesn't bother you ever five minutes asking if you need a refill. Have enjoyed every meal we've gotten, but really love the ODF fries as an appetizer (the waffle fries are a staple) and the crushes. Some waiters can be M.I.A. and inexperienced. I'm struggling with how many stars to leave on this review. First, the spicy cucumber margarita was AMAZING!! And the cream of crab soup was very good. Our server Max was great! However, the manager(s) need some training in customer service. My husband has food allergies (shellfish, soy, wheat). We mentioned this to our server when he greeted us at our table and asked a couple of questions. He then proceeded to get our drinks. When he returned, my husband inquired about the rockfish dinner being made without the crab on top (shellfish allergy) and if their would be a difference in price since the meal was $36 with the crab. Our server wasn't sure and there was apprehension on his part. We asked if the manager could just come over and speak with us directly so we didn't have to keep using the server as a go between. Max attempted to have the manager visit our table, however he did not and told Max the price would not be any different that they were not going to allow substitutions or changes to the menu. Ok. It is what it is. Here is where my biggest frustration came to play. My husband ordered the grouper grilled with the salsa and lemon butter on the side. It was delivered with both on top of the grouper. The lemon butter contained bread crumbs (wheat allergy). The manager didn't even apologize when he visited the table. We do not ask for "special" treatment when dining out. We ask for a gluten free menu and try to have him order off of that if at all possible. This restaurant does not have a gluten free menu and the main menu does not indicate if something is gluten free. Because of this, I think it would have been a courtesy for the manager to visit our table and talk to my husband. We will not be returning to this restaurant. read more

First time trying it. Didn't like any of the dishes. Didn't make a lot of sense - recipes and seasoning. And common sense goes a long way. We sat and water with lemon was brought to the table. I made the mistake of squeezing my lemon in my water and not having a napkin. Server is standing there - I ask for silverware and napkins because I squeezed my lemon. Visited for the first time tonight (Tuesday). What a treat! Started off with an amazing waitress (Emma), enjoyed delectable seafood to include steamed shrimp, muscles, tuna, and cream of crab soup. Our service, though friendly, was a bit lacking in attentiveness. I got the Steelefish Tacos and they could probably be really good, but there was so much broccoli slaw and cucumber wasabi that I could even taste the snapper. When I ate the snapper by itself it was very well cooked and delicious. Otherwise all I could taste was the slaw and wasabi, couldn't even really taste the mango salsa. My wife got the Shrimp and Chicken Penne which is blackened. The seasoning on the chicken was pretty heavy, but otherwise the dish was pretty good. I put off going to Steele Fish thinking it was just another Dead Freddie's boy was I wrong! Now I see why the parking lot was packed. The food was good and big, something you just don't find in Bel Air anymore. I hate small portions. Ordered Crabby Fries , and a Fire House #3 Burger. I could not believe the size of the Crabby Fires! My teenage son and I dug in, then it happened. We were too full to eat our meal. I can't remember the last time that happened. The food here is amazing and clearly the management knows how to motivate younger workers to service with a smile. The hidden secret is the steak with mushrooms and onions. I hate to admit this, but this is one of the best tasting steaks around....INCLUDING the high end steak houses in Baltimore (which I never go to anymore). They have been through a lot this year; Covid BS, sudden loss of one of the owners, yet they still pump it out consistently. This place is a winner for price and value. read more

We are always looking to try new places, and ones that generally appear busy and full of business. Steelefish had a clean atmosphere, with a nice selection on their menu. What I wish they did better was accommodate my mother who did not enjoy her food. The waitress asked if she was okay, as my mother was visibly upset by a few of the ingredients in the meal, but of course she didn't wanna stir anything up, so she kept her dissatisfaction to herself. The waitress kept asking if she was sure she was okay, but never offered to order her something else, bring the manager to our table, or comp it. At the end of it all, we paid for three entrees, one of which was untouched. I do wish someone had offered to help fix it, but overall, it was okay. read more

Steele fish has turned into one of our go to restaurants... mostly thanks to the playground. The best part is the outside seating allows you to enjoy an appetizer while your kids play. Our kids love going here and the kids meals are size-able and competitively priced. The wine selection is limited but I can usually find something. My husband is usually happy with one of the beer offerings. The fish tacos are yummy. And the chocolate cake is enough for 4 people at delightful. Today for lunch, I took my son to Steelefish Grille to celebrate a milestone of something he's been working on. Needless to say, he loved it. I believe this is my third or fourth trip to this restaurant, and I'd be remiss to not write something about the great service and great food. Let's just say, after the meal, my son declared, "We have to return here." The atmosphere is a perfect balance of classy and comfortable. I don't know what else I can say about it. The Ulysses pasta is the best. It is quite delicious, not heavy and just full of flavor. I have yet to veer from the entree. The Maryland Crab soup is just the right spicy. My son had a Sirloin which was cooked perfectly with incredible markings. Yes, it makes a difference when the food looks good. KUDOS to the COOK STAFF! The Service - if you do go, and I recommend that you do, ask for Shannon. She is good at anticipating needs and reading the guests. She is there most weekends in the evenings. She is prompt, personal and non-intrusive, that is to say, she is perfect at stopping by at appropriate times. Even the other staff that supports the servers are quite happy in helping with what you may need if you ask. If I were ever to have any issue with anything, I am confident they will be there to help me. Now, even the manager, Amy, made a round of the tables. Holding her to conversation was awesome because she was definitely hospitable (as well as Shannon). Go here. They have live music on the weekends too, which is not disappointing. We came here for a friend's birthday dinner last week. We sat outside and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was decent but the service was incredibly slow. We waited over an hour for our food. On top of that, when the Orioles game started, we asked our server to put the game on the TV facing us and she didn't "get around to it" until about the third inning. So good! Their menu has so much on it and a ton of variety. Had the mixed crab soup which is Maryland crab and cream of crab mixed. The bowl was huge! Glad I split it with my husband. My entree was the glazed salmon with wild rice and steamed broccoli. Everything was cooked very well and had good flavors.
