I have been here several times. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the people are so friendly! I have never felt so comfortable walking into a place before! Everything feels warm. My friend and I went here for the first time. The salon is decorated cute and looks clean. We got in pretty fast as walk-ins. We went for pedicures. This salon was offering wine, mimosas and bottled water to everyone near us but never offered either of us anything to drink. When our pedicures were done they just said thanks and left us in the massage chairs. We didn't do gel and we both had worn socks and winter shoes so we needed our toenails to be dried before putting our socks & shoes back on. They ignored us. Finally I walked over (in my bare feet) to the area where you sit and have UV lights and a fan to dry your toenail polish. They never even offered us the temporary flip flops. Bad customer service. With so many other choices in town we won't be back. read more

Technician was overly rough on my pedicure and caused immense pain to me with her cuticle cutting and it still hurts three days later. Over priced and gel flooded my cuticles. Not worth it, would never return, hopefully it isn't permanent damage to my toe. Wouldn't recommend to anyone, find another place trust me. read more

i came in to remove my previous acrylics and get a new set, the people were super nice but she left the shavings all over my hands while she was doing the acrylics. i was never told to rinse my hands and she did not brush my hands off. she also did not fully remove my previous acrylic and still continued. it all seemed very rushed and she glued ontop of my nail shavings that were still attached my my nail. she did well with shape & design. but i hated leaving with a bunch of glue and hardened acrylic powder all over my fingers. i have never left a salon with my hands looking like this and i personally will not come here for acrylics again, i'm sure their other services could be better but i will not be finding out. update: gel polish is already chipping off, thanks guys. read more

I have given this place multiple chances but this is the last time that i'm going there. About a month ago i went there to get acrylics and did, the guy they put me with was completely new and took 3 hours to do my set and let me leave with my nails see through. I asked myself if i've ever seen someone with see through acrylic nails and the answer was no. I was already late for work and didn't have time to fix them. And last time i was there was a week ago. Two days after i got my nails done three nails already popped off when i didn't do absolutely anything to them. This is the by far worst place i've ever been to. For me to pay $90 + tip they should do a better job or just close. The people in there are some what nice but i felt being judged half the time. read more

Overall the people were nice, but this is not the best salon. Old and things seem dirty. I paid extra for callus removal, but there was little to no improvement. I received a gel manicure which actually ended up burning my fingers under the light. I realized it was most likely because the gel was painted on my skin surrounding the nail. The cuticles look terrible and it honestly looks like a three-year-old painted them. I usually come here to get my face waxed and I usually always have a good experience. But today the lady had her mask on her chin and she was very clearly sick and breathing in my face. Also she did a subpar job on my eyebrows. I am not pleased. It's one thing to do a mediocre job waxing but it's a totally other experience. When you have someone who has been sniffling the whole time, pull her mask down and breathe in your face. Not cool y'all read more

Nice and clean shop, nice people but there were issues with my two visits for pedicure. #1 the technician nicked my toe, made it bleed. Not paying attention, bored? #2 country western music blasts throughout. I come to a salon to relax and rejuvenate but country music is not going to do that for me. ..ever. read more

When in to this shop Thursday for a pedicure with gel polish....it started to peel off on Sunday. Had colored dip done on my nails they used a gel polish on my nails to finish instead of proper steps 4.......the top polish started to peeling off on Sunday. I have never really been a regular at nail salons until I moved here. Stella Nails was the first salon I went to when I came from Illinois last December, and the woman who did my nails that day was so, so sweet. I still remember it. I tried a couple other places in the area, but no one else can do the designs that I like, especially at such a great price. My nails ALWAYS last and I have only ever had one negative experience with a tech who was new (so I don't really hold it against them) and I simply request to not see him. I even took my little brother there for pedicures and opted for something a little nicer than the standard one, and the entire experience was so relaxing. The chairs are comfortable, water at the perfect temperature, and they really work on you. Last time I was in, I saw Lynn, and she was great!! She did pink ombré acrylic nails, very quickly, and they look sooo cute. Almost forgot to add- they do amazing lash extensions, too. The girl who does them gave me a hybrid set on my 21st birthday and they were beauuutiful. Favorite salon ever. read more

Wow! I was shocked at how great my shellac manicure was. After years of bouncing between mediocre nail salons, I have finally found one which meets most of my picky expectations. Now, I can't speak to their pedicures as I've only had a manicure, but, 90% of the women getting manicures there told me that they had been coming here for years! That kind of loyalty means something. The girl who did my nails was great. The polish is holding up well. Everything was clean. She offered to do a design for me (which I am apprehensive about as it usually ends up being a disaster...) I asked for something dog related and she automatically googled some images of dog nail designs. She and I created something just for me. And may I say, everything was well executed. Some may not know. Vickie sold Stella Nails.(Vickie being most all of the good reviews here) I've been going to Stella Nails for years. I was open to using the new owner. I will not be returning. I got a acrylic nail set. It was simple pink tone nails. I was was astonished at how the Artis was just slapping acrylic on essentially. The bead was so runny. She placed it right on my cuticle. Every nail is not even. They look like press on nails. I haven't even had them for 2 weeks and one has fallen off.... Most of them are lifting. I thought about returning to have them redo them. But my sister experience the same situation with lifting, chunkiness, and acrylic on the cuticle. In her experience she called to have them redone. Returning to the place my sister had the same experience the 2 time around. This is the worst nails I've ever had in my life. I have had better nails from Walmart. read more

I had such a terrible experience here. The woman that did was nails was extremely rude and got very upset when i said i didn't like my nails at all. They were nothing like the photo and I chose a very simple design. She was very harsh with my nails and the second time she did them they were still not good. Aw. Ful. Stopped in with my wife- she got a manicure, I got a pedicure. The salon was playing music videos from YouTube on their giant tv screens that did nothing for the ambiance which was otherwise dark and unremarkable. My pedicurist was rough with trimming my nails and cuticles to the point where I audibly said "ow" three times and pulled my foot back. The massage and exfoliating was rough and rushed and unpleasant, and the polish job is crappy. My wife's gel removal and clear manicure look awful, and the best scenario I can think of is a refund so we can go have a pleasant experience someplace else. read more

This is the 10th year that I have been going to Stella Nails and I highly recommend them. They are by far the best salon in Loveland. I have tried other salons over the years only to be disappointed in what I received. Vicky and Aaron, husband and wife owners, are awesome at their art and take pride in their work! My nails never lift and usually last a month or more. Their services are fast and friendly and they know their customers by name when we walk in the door. And then the short lady with a big ol NASTY attitude messed up two of my nails and wouldn't fix them. Then I ACCIDENTALLY handed her the wrong card for payment and she threw it back at me and pretty much shoved the declined receipt in my face after I apologized and reached for my other card. Not a very good experience. Made an appointment and still had to wait 20 mins. On top of it the guy who was meant to do my rebase took a smoke break leaving me waiting even longer in the chair. He worked very fast and aggressively. He hurt me on many occasions not apologizing once. When I pointed out a nail that was uneven he gave me major attitude. I was supposed to get a pedicure in addition but between the amount of time it took and late start I didn't have enough time left to do it. Quite frankly based on my nail experience I didn't really want to. Even the lady at the front was a bit abrasive and not very costumer friendly. Won't be back and don't recommend. read more

Maybe my expectations were higher based on the reviews ...but this is the last time I will visit this place for a pedicure. The first gentleman that began working on my nails was talking non stop with the other staff, took a cell phone call and left. After a brief amount of time another gentleman stepped in and kindly asked what I wanted done. I had explained to the first guy that I wanted a basic pedi and was sort of short on time. I explained to the second guy that my feet are sensitive. Not ticklish, but actually sensitive. Maybe he was just really focused but he pulled my big toes so far to the side that it hurt. Then he took a call on his cell...a couple of times. Maybe I am expecting too much but I haven't experienced anything quite like this before. The other thing I noticed was that the tools seemed very used and maybe not clean. Hard to be certain.
