Eventually I sold the Prius (over 200k on the original battery, and going strong!). I bought a 2015 Chevrolet Volt, and got into the habit of having the Tonkin Chevrolet dealership maintain it (I recall I checked and Atomic Auto wasn't in a position to do work on it back then). But over the years, the dealership kept increasing their prices, and I just wasn't happy. So, I decided to go back to Atomic Auto. I'm glad I did. First off, I like how they have invested in simple technology/tools. They have a good system to text with you, so that you don't need to get on the phone. I love that. Their system includes photos, and detailed notes. Also, I like that they have an after-hours drop-off, *and* an after-hours pick-up. I also have found them to be honest in terms of the services. As my old Prius aged, I was getting an occasional error. They told me what was going on, and gave me a low-cost way to maintain it (spraying some mass airflow spray into the intake). It helped keep that guy on the road (heck, it's probably still driving today). Finally, I have found their services to be complete. I complained to the dealership about a super-obvious sound coming from my wheels when I turned, and the dealership said they couldn't re-create it (which seems sus, since it was super obvious and re-creatable). I didn't even mention it to Atomic, but they picked up on it during a test drive, and diagnosed it easily. I'm looking forward to keeping my Volt going for many years to come with the help of this crew.

I have not had good luck with the new owners. issue 1) i paid the old owners for a new battery. the battery failed, still under warranty, the new guys would not replace the battery because they do not buy from Interstate Battery any more. my option was to try and find someone who would exchange the defective battery, or have them put in a new battery- at full price. i was not happy! issue 2) i had Mike and Rodger put on some expensive tires for my car (it was the 4th, and last set i will ever get at Division Tire. they were about $800.00 installed in the past. all the tires were bought there, like most respectable businesses like Les Schwab and all others i have talked with. i called Division Tire 12-16-2020 to see about getting them rotated. there response was they would charge me $19.95 instead of there typical charge of $29.95 for a service that should have been free. i did take i did take the car to a different mechanic and they rotated them for just $15.00 never seeing me before. consider this warning if you are thinking of doing business with this lot. they will do what ever they can NOT to stand behind their name. keep in mind i bought ALL the services at Division Tire, not just Mike and Rodger. it was with the company not just the people. when they bought the company i feel they bought the customers, location, and the obligations. Division Tire should stand behind the products and warranties, but they did not for me!!

They did the job and got the AC working for me but, when I went to pick it up, I noticed that the backup camera wasn't working. I informed the guy at the desk and he immediately started gaslighting me by insinuating that the camera going out was an intermittent problem that had probably been happening for a while. I told him that the camera had worked perfectly EVERY time I put the Tahoe in reverse ever since I purchased it until his shop serviced it that day and asked him to have the technician that worked on the vehicle undo whatever he did to make it stop working. After three "attempts" to fix the issue over several weeks, he gave up and admitted that they hadn't even tried to figure out the problem because he said that, by working on the AC, they hadn't came anywhere near the information center where the camera picture would normally appear. Through the entire process he continued to gaslight me by insisting that it had been an intermittent problem BEFORE I took it to them for the AC service. Bottom line; they never fixed the issue and I still don't have a working backup camera and now I have to find a new, reliable garage to service my vehicles.

RUN do not walk away from this place. If I could give a 0…read moreI would. They are swindlers with a smile. They literally have left hardware in my truck in addition to using substandard parts. We used them to to brake pads which needed to be replaced quickly. Under the advice of a former employees of theirs who remembered us and happened to have moved to Meineke where he was now our service tech, we took it to Midas for the brake pads to be replaced under our existing warranty. As apparantly required by their warranty we paid labor on the pads and they insisted that the rotors had to be replaced as well as they were shot. Over an additional $1000 later we walked out with new pads and rotors Fast forward to now. We are in the same boat. My husband spoke to the manager who stated everything world be covered and made right. We would just have to pay 195 for the labor. We made an appointment for the repair. However once we arrived, we were told the pads need replaced but they will not honor their warranty unless we pay them an additional almost 600 plus labor to replace the rotor also. I mentioned that we world just go to Meineke, whom have shown themselves to be ethical and competent, for the rotors and have Midas repair the pads under warranty. The manager then explained that if we do that it nullified their warranty. He said of anyone else touches the rotors Midas will not honor their warranty for the pads. Since they aren't honoring it anyway we made an appointment elsewhere to pay them to do the job correctly for a change since Midas is unable. Since, I have spoken to others who have had similar experiences but just didn't speak up. They just did as we are and had another company fix Midas's problem. BTW. The manager pulled out the warranty he kept referring to and it says NOTHING about the rotor at all especially as a prerequisite. Also the rude and condescending attitude of management especially regarding his and his tech's "work hours and effort" were the height of unprofessionalism How they get even 1 good review is beyond me.

They found a small pebble in my rear drum brake (wait what?? LOL) And didn't charge me for diagnose. Just very nice people there. Impressed by their service as well. Professional staff, great service, good work, very polite crew with warm and friendly attitude. That's how you do a successful business. I will recommend them on TireRack and Google Maps too. This was just a couple hundred miles before my warranty expired, so I knew I needed to get it looked at immediately. I found Sun Auto Service through my CarMax warranty as a preferred vendor. The reviews were solid, so I chose them. The main person I worked with was Cody, and he was excellent. As a woman, it can be difficult to find an auto shop where you do not feel talked down to or pressured into unnecessary repairs. That was not my experience here at all. Cody was transparent and straightforward. He clearly explained what needed attention now versus what could wait a few months. No pressure, no condescension. They had my car for about two weeks, which I understand is normal given how many variables can cause starting issues like that. I explained that my warranty was about to expire and asked them to be thorough. They absolutely were. They identified nearly $3,000 worth of repairs, all of which were covered under warranty. They handled the entire claims process. I never had to contact the warranty company once. I simply paid my deductible and was on my way. Everything felt professional, organized, and above board. It has been about two weeks since I picked up my car and it is running perfectly. I would absolutely return if I ever needed service again. Highly recommend Sun Auto, and especially Cody.

But it's possible it'd been cleaned up before they arrived... - Mechanic arrived at dealership more than two hours late and I received no notification about this, and my calls asking for an updated ETA were dropped From time of mechanics arrival to when I received findings, the inspection took between 30-45 minutes including a test drive.
