The staff here is incredible hands down the best customer service experience I've ever had. Everyone is involved and genuinely caring. It never feels like a rushed "hi-bye" visit; they take the time to connect, make you feel seen, and somehow manage to be personable, funny, and kind all at once. Honestly, I wish I could be friends with all of them! I've come here for pictures, X-rays, cleanings, deep cleanings, and most recently wisdom teeth removal. Every experience has been amazing, but it was my wisdom teeth removal with Dr. Kamal that drove me to finally write this review. I was terrified going in. I put off getting my wisdom teeth out for 5-7 years because my pain tolerance is laughably low (getting my ears pierced was traumatic enough). I had to get all 4 removed at once to relieve some pain I was experiencing, and from the first conversation, the team completely reassured me. They went over everything, post-op plans, expectations, recovery tips and made me feel like I was genuinely in good hands. But even then, I had no idea just how committed they were to making this comfortable for me. The surgery? Flawless. I didn't feel a single bit of pain or discomfort not before, during, or after. I'm someone who cries at a paper cut, so to walk away from oral surgery without pain? Truly a miracle. I chose IV sedation, and it was so easy , i fell asleep, and next thing I knew, I was at home, pain-free and minus four teeth. Recovery has been just as smooth. No pain, no issues, and if there ever was a moment of mild discomfort, Tylenol took care of it. I went in for my post-op checkup and everything is healing beautifully. Ill now be starting my invisalign journey with them. Dr. Kamal is amazing, and I still can't believe how positive this entire experience was. I couldn't have asked for a better team or outcome. Parking: There's a private lot shared with another business (a different dental office for surgical procedures I think) with plenty of parking. Overall: After multiple appointments, still continuing the BoomCloud membership although my teeth never felt as clean as I would like them to be, I have decided that I would much rather go back to California to my primary dentist than to continue with Island Dental. Alicia at the front desk is the sweetest human I have ever met, Tamara is the best dental hygienist I've ever had (she is so laid back and understanding, we always have great conversations). Dr. Robin Lee is not only the BEST dentist I've ever worked with but he took me from terrible teeth (needed multiple crowns and many cavities filled) to the best case scenario, I now have zero dental issues. Isabella and Roy are also excellent at assisting Dr. Lee with patients and procedures. I used to be terrified to go to any dentist but Today's actually makes me excited to come see the staff and catch up. Thank you all so much for your help! Also, the doctor would not check on you during teeth cleaning appointments unless you book in advance and pay an extra fee. I never saw this before as dentists are supposed to check on you every 6 months during your teeth cleaning visits. The last teeth cleaning price I paid was $210. Standard price in Vegas is $129 and that includes dentist check-ups every 6 months. Things are not going the right way here.

I called to make him an appointment a few days later, and when we got there, the facility was beautiful and clean, and the waiting area has freshly baked cookies and water. The assistant showed him to the waiting room, and on the way showed us all of the certifications of the doctors, their modern machine that can do same-day crowns, and gave a free reusable water bottle filled with some gum, drink powder, and chapstick. I was very impressed and assumed that the experience would be great. However, my partner had a very bad experience. The appointment was for 1020am, and they did the x-ray, then he waited an hour, and then they did the exam and told him he had to come back to do the cleaning and the earliest opening was in two hours. How disrespectful of people's time to assume they can come in two visits. Why couldn't they do the cleaning during this hour where they had him waiting for nothing? They never told us when I made the appointment that it was broken up into two visits - in California for these new patient specials they always do it in one visit. So then he went back a few days later for the cleaning and it was HORRIBLE. Usually there is a dentist who cleans, and then an assistant who mans the suction, but this was one lady doing it all herself. She was not communicative (usually they tell you when they're doing the suction, when to close your mouth, etc, she said nothing) nor detailed (she jumped around from a left tooth to a right tooth when usually they go sequentially), and an overflow of saliva built up in his mouth. Then she POKED his lip with the sharp pick point and didn't even apologize!!! And she was scraping a tooth and missed and scraped his mouth!! Ugh!! How is this person allowed to even clean people's teeth? I'm very disappointed that we didn't get to experience the good dentists that other people refer to in their reviews. My partner was in shock after the appointment and said it was the worst teeth cleaning experience he's ever had. The fact that they have this incompetent tooth cleaner to where they hurt you is unforgiveable. Definitely will not be going back.
