My kitchen plumbing clogged, then the rusted pipe broke open. Mark was quick with the work and first class work it is. The previous pipe set up was done by a handy man that didn't know what he was doing. During the leak test we noticed the garbage disposal had a cracked housing and was leaking. 30 minutes later mark had a new disposal installed and the job was finished. Prompt, professional, fair, courteous, honest. I had two conversations before they came out. In both cases, I did not reach them on the first call, but they returned my call within a half hour. I had a slow drip on the valve of the water service line into the house, and it was not urgent work. We scheduled time for the fix, they showed up on time, and gave a free estimate before starting the work. They ran into some difficulties using the parts I provided them, but they did not charge me anything additional to work around the problems. Amazing plumber! I found Mark while scanning through yelp, and I hit the jackpot. Needed an emergency plumber very quickly, and as soon as I left him a message, he called me back. He said he would be at my home in about a half an hour, and he was true to his word. He fixed my problems with my toilets, all the while explaining what happened to them, and giving me pointers on how to fix minor problems. As long as he was there, I had him fix a few minor things on my sinks, and redid my faucet in the kitchen. He even told me I was using the wrong brand of toilet paper, and explained the reasons for that as well. He's fast, very knowledgeable, and most pleasant. After getting a high estimate for a toilet line unclog, I called Stephen to set up an appointment based upon a recommendation from a Friend. He said that He would work me in early the next morning. It was a great experience having Stephen Plumbing to repair/replace my toilet's broken water supply line, which is part of so called "single piece angle stop and supple line". The repair requires shut-off of main water line to the condo building where I live (a very small 2-story building), to comply with our HOA's strict rules/guidelines, I called around to find reliable and licensed plumbers for the job. I first used Stephen Plumbing Services to modify my laundry area for a gas dryer I had purchased (not realizing I had the electrical hookup). He told me over the phone that it sounded like something I could get a handyman to do for a lower rate, but he provided an estimate nonetheless. Since he had such great Yelp reviews, I hired him for the job, and the work cost less than his estimate. Mark is awesome! 1st time I used him, I had leaks under 2 sinks. I called other plumbers, who tried to diagnose over the phone or they said they'd charge to come by to diagnose and they would have to come another day. I found Stephen Plumbing on Yelp, called them, and Mark said he could come over in 1/2 hr! He diagnosed and gave me an estimate free of charge! Of course, I went with him, and he did a great job installing 2 new faucets, and with a reasonable charge. Few months later, my toilet leaked. I called Mark, who again, came right over. I really appreciate his consistently quick service! He diagnosed the problem and then unfortunately, a new crack appeared in the tank while Mark was handling the toilet. I had to buy another new tank. A couple days later, Mark graciously picked up the tank from the shop and installed it. And here's the kicker...He didn't charge me anything because of the whole crack issue! Mark is a man of integrity and is simply a very kind man.
