My wheel and tire needed to be replaced, so I called their parts department. They gave me the part number and said to tell the service department when I got there. What they didn't say was that the part was not currently in stock! I took my car there, thinking this will just take a few hours, but after three hours of waiting, I was told that the wheel would have to be ordered and wouldn't arrive until Tuesday or Wednesday. I said fine, I'll be back Wednesday. I dropped off my car around 1:00pm, and was contacted around 4:00pm and told that the TIRE was not in stock, and I would have to come back tomorrow! They also recommended that I get the other three tires replaced and some additional maintenance done, but I was in no mood to get anything else fixed or replaced at Sterling McCall Nissan after what I had just experienced! At that point, Donald took over and offered a loaner car for the inconvenience. He was extremely courteous and professional, and left me thinking better about the service at Sterling McCall Nissan. Unfortunately, he had recently put in his two weeks notice, so I doubt he will be there if I ever decide to go back. Just be sure to do your due diligence, and ask follow up/clarifying questions like: "can you confirm that the part is actually in stock, so I don't waste a whole day waiting for it?" and Are ALL the necessary parts in stock, so I don't have to waste another day, and come back for that missing part to be found and installed?" read more

First, the only positive note ... Service Advisor Lorelei is a genuine asset to the organization. They need more like her. We are long-time Sterling McCall Nissan customers, having purchased approximately twelve vehicles, in addition to referring several friends and family members. Our history makes this recent experience particularly painful. In need of a smaller EV due to my wife's disability, we purchased a 2023 Leaf in February. All went well for the first couple of months, including charging it twice at home. We've had EV's for the past four years with no issues. This last attempt to charge the car resulted in an error message. Research revealed a couple of possibilities, so we took it to Service. We explained the problem to Lorelei, who made certain that she understood the issue completely. A couple of hours later, we received a call from her, asking for information on our home charger, which, incidentally, we've had for several years with no problems, including charging our other EV. We complied, and received a call back from the technician, who stated that, "You have to use the charger that comes with the car." Huh??? We can only use a 110V cable?? Ridiculous!! So how can it be explained that we were able to charge the car with our 220V unit until this one time? We picked up the Leaf after they were unable to duplicate the matter. For giggles, I also tried that 110V charger ... same error message. Note that while plugged into the Leaf, our home charger indicated all was normal (green lights blinking sequentially, display reading "Charging"). I disconnected it from the Leaf and hooked it up to my other EV ... charged it to 100%. I next called Service, spoke with a manager, who stated that there must be a problem with the vehicle, and apologized for us having to bring it back. Lorelei had apparently been informed, and stated that the car will be headed for their charger again. Frankly, I wasn't the most courteous after hearing that (for which I am profusely sorry), given that they couldn't find the problem when they did the same thing last time. As before, after hooking up the vehicle to several cables, they couldn't determine the cause. My question to them: If my equipment is functioning as intended, but the car is not, where does the problem lie? Given that four EV's have used that same cable without incident, the answer should be apparent, but they had none. At this time, we concluded that we simply couldn't trust the vehicle (especially for a disabled individual), but a traditional trade transaction would likely cost me about $7k. I asked to speak with the General Manager, something I was able to do previously here. One even worked the floor helping our friend's son purchase his first car. This time, the Service Manager advised me that the GM "is not available." Funny, I saw him in his office just a moment before. For the umpteenth time, I explained the issue to yet another person. While waiting for the vehicle to be pulled up, he approached me and stated that Nissan Tech Support wanted to see a photo of the connection at my home, along with a video of me charging the Leaf. It's a standard 14-50 outlet, installed by a licensed electrician ... they can see all they want of them at Home Depot. And am I too stupid to charge a vehicle incorrectly? Once again, the cable operates as it should, and charges any other EV without incident, so there must be a compatibility issue with the car, making it useless to us. Lorelei apparently heard the discussion and brought a salesperson over to talk with me about a replacement vehicle. Of course, he can't make any decision about resolving the matter of my taking a bath on the trade, but I appreciate her effort on our behalf. The salesperson advised me that there was no appropriate car available at any Group 1 dealership in the area, so the discussion was fruitless. With access to upper management blocked, if it was the intention of the service folks (other than Lorelei) to wear us into submission, they succeeded. I knew at this time that it was going to cost me, but my only option was to minimize the loss. A call to a sales manager at another dealership we've done business with resulted in the best possible conclusion under the circumstances. He was willing to bring a vehicle up from a Florida affiliate at his cost, or, if we were willing to consider a '22 with minimal mileage, he had an EV with some wiggle room on price. We liked the latter option ... really nice car. Furthermore, he allowed more for the Leaf than others we'd contacted. Of course, we made him aware of our problem with it, but it apparently had no effect on the transaction. He even let us take our new-to-us car home prior to finalizing the sale, to confirm that there wouldn't be a charging issue ... there was none. I'm not certain that anyone at SMcC could have done anything for us, but not having the opportunity, we'll never know. But I do know we're done with them. A shame. read more

So we called and they said for us to bring the vehicle back and we did but they wanted to charge us for the diagnostic. Like why do we have to pay for something they did! I purchased a 2022 Sonata Hybrid in early 2024 with many disappointing undisclosed flaws. Mo and his manager priced fairly for the vehicle they described; however, I was sold a vehicle with a faulty cell (one of the most costly repairs for the vehicle). Immediately coming off the lot, I was forced to jumpstart the vehicle using the battery cell but thought nothing of it. Some weeks and jumpstarts later, my vehicle completely died which forced me to called a technician to diagnose. The cell was dead. Not only was the cell dead, but it turns out the solar panel (also non-functional) was disconnected along with a ton of unreported glass found in the door panels. After they sold me my truck; I discovered that my EV charger is missing, I contacted the salesperson Ade who sold me the truck and he would not do anything about it. The same thing with the sales Manager, he didn't do anything to resolve my issue. I haven't received my Charge Cable, and no one will call me back. I had to seek help from the BBB, and the dealer Fraud unit to resolve this issue. Do not buy anything from this dishonest dealer. The GOOD: Our sales rep Jerome! He was patient, understanding and went beyond to take care of our needs! The BAD: Finance department with Mario and the finance director. I regret not recording our conversation / interaction with these people. They market their extra extended warranty packages in ways that was deceptive. Mario sold us on a 10 year or up to 100k miles warranty (gold preferred coverage) whichever came first. He also mentioned that this coverage would allowed us to transfer those features to another future vehicle of our choice. I had repeatedly asked him to confirm what he said since I was translating to my mom to make sure she understood how the extended warranty worked. He never sent our sales or warranty contract until a few days later AFTER the dealership sold us the vehicle. Long story short, I reviewed the warranty contract and it said 5 years or 100k miles. I went to the dealership to find Mario who happened to just "left for the day" and spoke with his finance director. Oh boy, this dude was ruthless! No apologies, no empathy and didn't help us one bit! Instead, he told me to get out of his office and cancel the warranty outside. Apparently, there was no such thing as a 10 year warranty! I can't imagine how many customers they've screwed up in financing just to make themselves money! Luckily, I was able to catch what they've done early on and saved us $2100! If this is how they're training their finance reps, I would strongly advise not to do business with this dealership! Tip: DO NOT add any "extras" from the finance department. When I arrived, the service advisor I believe name was Anna took my information to sign me in & after I told her what I was coming in for , proceeded to tell me it was too late in the day for them to perform the service to my vehicle especially if I wasn't able to leave the vehicle over night . Mind you this was 3 hours before they closed . I explained to her that I had called prior to avoid making a blank trip & she just chalked it up to the call center & said that there would not be technician available to work on my car . This was hands down the biggest waste of time & perhaps they should improve the call center accuracy . Will not return to this location . Everyone knows the stigma of wasting days at a dealership to get a relative decent price, well this dealership takes that to the next level. I came in pre-approved through chase and wanted to cut straight through the bullshit and not waste time, and the dealership did the exact opposite keeping me from 3pm until they closed at 8pm, along with that the Sales Manager kept pressuring me to finance through them or to buy the more expensive car even though he said it was "cheaper" (Shocker after seeing the fine print he tried to screw me). I finally get back to financing and get to signing paperwork and I see that they completely ignored my chase pre approval and tried to get me to sign their loan terms which were 5% apr higher. After I pointed this out they said they'd change it and showed me the same apr that chase had given me and said they changed it to them because I was very angry at this point. All for me to find out a few days ago that the Sales man and finance lady completely lied and STILL financed through themselves without my authorization, not only that but the sales manager and sales man LITERALLY STOLE my phone to give themselves the highest surveyed answers and lie about the experience to their higher ups. To make matters worse, the new swindle that a lot of the used dealerships are trying to run on customers is that they wait to get you into finance before informing you of a "mandatory" package (optional...let's be truthful) and/or of the ceramic coating they put on but fail to make any mention of until it's time to crunch number in the finance office. VERY deceitful practice, to say the least and should be illegal. It is no wonder why many customers choose Carvana where there is no middle man nor hidden fees. I'm very pleased with my purchase and experience and should note that I was preapproved from an outside source, which they accepted with no issue, but there's not an option through Acceleride (unlike Carvanna) that will allow you to submit any outside pre-approvals online. At any rate, I would recommend asking for Jerry "OK", should you decide to give them your business. He's a very courteous and patient gentlemen that really made this experience pleasant. Deceptive pricing practices - I was interested in a Fiat 500X listed on their site for $18,288. I asked for the best price and a slaes manager named Sameer Lakhani responded that the best price was $17,000 + TTL + Fees. As this was acceptable to me, I was ready to go in, but fortunately asked for a complete price breakdown. I was sent the attached pricing sheet and was totally surprised to find $995 worth of accessories/service items tagged on as "fees". Their sales representative made the claim over email that they reduced the price by more than $1000 to cover the "fees" . I am not sure in which world tint, nitrogen and wheel locks are fees.. I dropped my car off for an oil change and for service because of a light that popped up. I explained my situation about how my car was having trouble starting and that I would stay there until the work was done. The service tech Lorelei said it would be a few hours because they were pretty busy, although I did have an appointment for 2:30. They checked my car at 3:50 and texted me regarding the issues at 5:24. The service tech asked me to check the link to continue with the service, I did as she asked and then she quit responding. It was past 6, their closing time when I still hadn't received an answer. I went home in a loaner because they needed to buy the car I wanted from another dealership. I was dumb a niave and wanted to buy my parents a new car. When I wanted to back out of the deal they said I would lose whatever money I paid which was to buy it from another dealership, but they told me originally it was for something else. Very very disappointed on Billy Bui (Internet Sales Manager) I had a couple of chats with him to get pricing and specs on the car. I am 1 hr away drive from the store so I had to make sure of everything before I go there. After getting all the information I need, it just a matter of scheduling an appointment. I checked multiple times with him up until the last hour before driving there. I wanted to make sure that the car was still available before coming there. See picture below for the his confirmation before I got there. And guess what? when I got there after partially filling up some papers he told me "I am going to be mad... both cars that I am interested in was already sold". And I believe it could not have been sold from the time I was driving there. I believe I heard that it was sold the day before. It was really stupid that this guy did not do his job to check if the car was really there before having me come there. What a very inconsiderate person. I was planning for days and putting it on my schedule even moving things around to make it work and this guy dropped the ball. Not only did I lose the car but wasted my time and and gas going there. I had the same experience with another sales person there as well which was Carlos. He was good on the information then when the time comes when I am about to go there, suddenly no communication so I cancelled my trip. Still bad but better on the point that it did not add up on wasting my time heading there. On these two experiences for less than a month something tells me that people in there are not trust worthy nor considerate of their customers. Be very careful dealing with them. If zero was an option, I would score this location for its sales tactics and misleading information, I purchased a preowned vehicle that was advertised as no accidents are other major issues (not true). The vehicle in question is a Rogue with water damage and rear end collisions problems. Vehicle has an extremely bad Oder inside, due to my (TBI) traumatic brain injury I lost the ability to smell. Underwhelmed and annoyed for sure. Came here after emailing about a specific vehicle. I drove all the way here and was connected with a salesperson, and not the friendliest one either. Getting the car pulled up was easy enough but when I requested to take the test drive by myself there was definite pushback. I have never been asked to prove that I have full coverage to test drive a vehicle. I was even told that WITH the salesperson I wouldn't be able to test drive, LOL. Even if you have COVID concerns, it won't matter. When I spoke with the sales manager DJ, he assured me that they cared about covid but if you want to test drive (with or without a salesperson), they would not consider COVID a valid reason to do so. LOL. I spoke to the joke of a General Manager who stated that he explained to his MANAGER that potential clients can test drive with a salesperson, regardless of insurance. So the management team is functioning on information they pulled from the air I suppose. Listen to the other reviews too, they can't all be wrong. I would never do business with Sterling McCall. The point is, this dealership already had a low rating before I came here, I should have paid attention. I recommend Mossy Nissan to be honest. Never have these kinds of issues here. So I have a bit of a conflicting interview. Initially, when I purchased my vehicle, EVERYTHING went pretty well. Initially I came in for a oil change, and to see about my vehicle, and a new radiator fan that it needed. My vehicle at the time was a 2017, but it was actually difficult to try to find a specific part for the type of car I had. As I'm waiting for my car to be serviced, Patrick Nans (the salesman) comes to me, and Encourages me to get a new vehicle. After a while of debating my options, I went ahead and decided to make the purchase. This whole process was a success and Patrick & the General manager really helped me out because my credit wasn't the best. After the initial purchase, I noticed Patrick was very adamant about me writing a review for him, so I assured him I would when I got the chance. Maybe a week goes by, and Patrick starts calling me almost everyday about my license coming in, I tell him I'm out of town, and give him a date that I would be in town, to pick them up.. after I told him that, Patrick still called me everyday harassing me about it, and leaving voice messages about when I'll be coming to see him. That felt a little weird. The time comes and I'm back in-town to head to the dealership, I head there, and to my surprise, the receptionist tells me that Patrick locked my license plate in his desk, and there's no way she could access it, & Patrick was not in for work that particular day.. I called him, and he said the same, but he would be back the following day. I frustratingly told Patrick and the receptionist to please just mail the plates to my house because I already felt weird interacting with Patrick. I leave the dealership, and Patrick decided to call me a total of 8 times back to back, I answer and he says "so you're ignoring me now". That was totally UNACCEPTABLE! So I hang up. The next day, he calls me early and says if you come up here to get the plates, I have a gift card waiting on you. I agree to come up there. I come up to the dealership, and Patrick brings me my plates, and ask for my phone so he could give me the gift card. I was confused by how that would happen so I gave him my phone. *Patrick Nans took it Upon himself to go through my emails, find the sales service survey AND PUT IN A REVIEW FOR HIMSELF in my name! He actually put in a review through my email for himself!!!!! I found this out by going through my emails, & through the history on my phone! THIS IS VERY UNACCEPTABLE, and FRUAD! I'll never work with Patrick again or return to this dealership if I'm going to be harassed by the salesperson. read more

I'm updating my review because they have gotten much better with their service department and keeping appointments. On my last visit, I did not wait long to be seen, plus they have a system in place where numbers are placed on the top of the vehicles. I think this keeps everyone informed of which customer is next.
