We have always patronized Stewarts and have been very happy, but we visited there today and their prices have skyrocketed. And it seems as if their portions have decreased. It's getting a little too expensive for the average person to afford. We will not return. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I used to work for Leanne before she opened her own restaurant, so I already know she's a phenomenal manager. She and her husband have infused their warm personalities into Stewart's space and the classic breakfast and lunch menu. They are the definition of good people, and everyone will feel welcome as soon as they walk in the door. When you enter the restaurant, you'll order at the counter first and then select your seat. There's almost always a line, but it moves very quickly. I've had breakfast and lunch here, and everything I've eaten was always delicious. The coffee is also superior to anything else you can get in the area. It's always bustling, so if you're looking for a "quiet" coffee shop to work or study this may not be it. However, the tables turn over quickly so you can usually find a place to sit, and there's free WiFi if you're like me and you enjoy working with the background noise. read more

I went here for lunch with a friend yesterday. The service was excellent, the omelette were delicious, and we were so wrapped up in conversation they kindly let us stay till after they closed. Stewart's Bistro is a hidden gem in Wake Forest, I'm the Heritage area. It's in a shopping center on the end at the corner so many people don't realize it's there. Stewart's serves some of the best breakfast and lunch in the area. There's indoor and outdoor seating, it gets pretty crowded during peak times, but I've learned the best time to eat is really early or after 1pm. They close at 3 so keep that in mind. The staff is warm and friendly, they're great at making suggestions and helping you choose the best bang for your buck (everything). Someone is guaranteed to come out and check on you and make sure you're enjoying your meal. The atmosphere is bright and cheery, they have chalkboard signs and blocked sayings all around. Most tables seat up to 4 comfortably, they also have seating at the counter and a few high top tables. I love their fluffy, big pancakes and the crispy bacon. Everything is prepared fresh upon ordering. You really can't go wrong here. read more

We come here pretty often for brunch, the food and lattes are always great! The staff is always pleasant, the owners are usually there and greeting you as you come through the door. I've never had a bad experience. I highly recommend the shrimp and grits, the fried chicken biscuit with egg and cheese, and the pancakes! read more

This place is a great option if you are in the Wake Forest area! Note that it does get crowded on the weekends, but that is almost the case anywhere you go. The great thing is that their line moves fast. After we ordered, we sat outside and were served our food in less than 15 mins. Service was fast and food was great! read more

I ordered the sunrise special, eggs, toast, and side of grits or home fries with bacon or sausage The home fries were a bit underdone imo but the rest was good. The owners are some of the kindest people as well and are often there on the front lines to take care of anyone who walks into the door. For breakfast, I always enjoy the Sunrise Special with bacon. I have never been to a restaurant before that had signs up telling you what you were allowed or not allowed to discuss at your private dining table. Did not feel welcomed in Stewart's. Blatant one sided brainwashing going on in there. Very strange for a public restaurant. Food was just ok- a little thick on the grits. read more

I went here with a friend for breakfast. It was so packed. The restaurant was super cute. But you order your food first then go sit down. This place is okay. Nothing terribly special or bad. I had the sunrise special. It was okay. Not enough food in my opinion as portion sizes are smaller than expected. I had two eggs over medium but were over easy. My toast was cold. Hash browns we're okay. Bacon was good. Best thing here is coffee. It's nice and strong but not overpowering. read more

Stewart's never disappoints! From the food to the coffee - and their coffee is awesome! - to the atmosphere and the prices, everything is great! Some of my favorites include the french press Ethiopia Yergz coffee, Shrimp and Grits and their oatmeal with all the toppings. Highly recommend this gem! read more

Definitely our new favorite breakfast/brunch spot! The service is always great and the food is pretty tasty. Their caramel macchiatos are the best we've tried in the area. Seating can sometimes be difficult to grab, especially if you're visiting in peak hours on the weekend and want to sit indoors. They request that you order first and then find a seat. If the line is long, the tables fill up quickly before it gets to you. Most recently, we visited around 1pm on a Sunday and were able to find a table inside. They are dog friendly for those who are okay with sitting outside. That's always a perk for us :). We will definitely be visiting again! read more

I was looking at a new breakfast/brunch places and found this restaurant in Yelp. I checked it out and couldn't be any more happier with the owner Brad Stewarts warm welcome and wife Lilian's gracious smile at the register. I was given a complimentary Stewart almond coffee by Lillian. The delicious nutty coffee arrived before I could finally settle on my seat and the food arrived about 5 min or so but it seemed pretty quick for when I normally get it from other places. The fact that the owners were present in the restaurant and the staff were so pleasant and friendly made me feel so welcome. They have gluten free toast to my delight! I am so glad to have found this place! Even if I live on the other side of Wake Forest, I'll go out of my way to come here for a nice good breakfast. You can feel the love in this place! read more

Excellent breakfast enjoyed in peace. Very clean place and very friendly staff. Order was up within 3 mins of sitting down. Had an egg omelet and side of sausage both were excellent. French Press coffee was the smoothest cup of coffee iv'e had around here! This place is not huge so at certain times does get pretty crowded. Came here with my two little boys, my mom and the babysitter for lunch on the weekend. It was crowded, but food and drink were great! Best of all is the service. I recently visited Stewart's Bistro! And it was absolutely pleasant. I was looking for a atmosphere that allowed me to do some work. The clerk was very helpful although she was New and what she didn't know she got one of the barista's to help. The Barista recommended one of the Latte's (I can't remember the name but it was a featured Latte) and I ordered a biscuit (it was delicious). I ended up stay for an hour and a half. We came for breakfast on Father's Fay and there was a wait but we were offered water while we waited. When we got inside the nice gentleman who I think was the owner sat my husband at a table. This I really appreciated, my husband is a veteran and an ex-police officer who had a stroke and he treated us with tremendous kindness. Coffee products here are always good. BUT todays visit was so disappointing. The cinnamon roll my guest and I ordered was dark brown and so hard it couldnt be cut with a knife. When we commented to a waiter, he smiled and walked away. Before leaving we commented to the cashier about the rolls being inedible. Response was, I'll check with the kitchen, $4 inedible cinnamon roll with a very disappointing business response to a customer. Probably wont return. read more

This is a very cute cafe with independently made espresso drinks. It's a fun atmosphere but I am not sure the coffee artistry is there, the steamed milk on the espresso drinks (latte/cappuccino) seemed a bit overcooked. The omelette I had was of a country style, nice big portion but a bit hard cooked with butter, not fluffy mixed with milk. I'd probably get their regular breakfast special next time. read more

Ehh, I wasn't that impressed. Had a funny smelling coffee, and some abnormally chewy french toast. The floors were pretty dirty, guess they only sweep once before closing. The place is not as big as it seems in some picks, the waiters were pretty dull and just acted busy until you said something like can I order?
