NY Style sub shop in downtown Phoenix; near courthouse & other county bldgs. I ordered their chix salad on wheat roll; bun was fresh & toasty; filling was just a lil sparse, which kept it from being authentic NY. Added a side of yummy macaroni salad & a latte! Was able to sit & work comfortably for a couple of hours! Many thanks!

I've walked by Sticklers a billion times but never have gone in. I decided to shake that up and really enjoyed my experience here. This lunch spot keeps things moving with its line that leads you to ordering your food with the kitchen, walking by drink and chip options, and finally paying for your food and drink. Sticklers was pretty busy when I went but the staff was still super friendly and fast. I ordered the tuna salad sandwich and really enjoyed it. Before eating, Sticklers gives you the option to chose your condiments and things like a pickle or something else to make your lunch better. I appreciated the extra customization. I also ordered a coffee here and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I really liked the iced coffee and thought it had a very rich flavor. I also liked the nice mix of outdoor and indoor seating. There is a fair amount of seating indoors but I thought the outside space looked nicer. The entire seating area is covered by the roof for a more enjoyable experience. Overall, I think Sticklers is a good spot to grab lunch downtown and I like the range of options to choose from. I'm definitely coming back for lunch soon to try something else.

Nice little sandwich shop. I got the Italian which was fresh and a tad spicy. The Oreo malt was pretty good as well. A little pricey but good quality food.

I was remiss in taking a picture of my food but this drink was legit. Cinnamon & vanilla. Yum, yum. Reasonably priced. Definitely efficient in service. Food was delicious. Would definitely come back & would definitely recommend. They were very accommodating with my food restrictions. Very friendly service.

Jury duty down town. We have 1.5 hours.. where to go? Head out and see Stickers And a lot of people going in. I get in the long line that doesn't seem to be moving. While on the website liking at the menu... I decide.. I'll order on line. Sure enough... placed my order... 12 mins it was ready. I had already taken a seat.. so I just had to get up to retrieve and pay for it. I got the Turkey and Swiss. With hot peppers and Mayo. Side of potato salad and can of soda. $12. When I went to counter they were so nice.. out of potato salad... macaroni salad it is. So delicious the sandwich was huge and filling. Could not finish it. ( wish I could have taken it with me.) If you find yourself downtown... check it out. Construction sucks all around... but once in there.. it's perfect!!

Sticklers is a nice little sandwich shop that also makes your sandwich Panini style. Lot's different sandwiches and build your own salad options too. There are also vegetarian sandwich options as well. Simple coffee and tea are available too. I had the Romain sand greens salad with my own toppings. Also a ice coffee. It came out to be $12+. A bit pricy yes, but considering it's is downtown is makes sense.

I'm just now giving Sticklers a review, even though I've been getting sandwiches at this place for many years. I guess it was the nostalgia of tasting their sandwiches after a 2yr stint working from home. The staff are totally awesome. Try the Italian or Traffic Jam sandwiches.

**July 2026: Saturday Night Visit**…read more My friend and I had been eating a lot of heavy food this summer and were really craving something healthy and nutritious. It was also pretty late on a Saturday night, so we wanted something fast and convenient, which led us to Flower Child. Flower Child is such a great fast-casual spot if you're looking for a lighter meal with bowls, salads, wraps, and plenty of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options. It's especially nice if you want something veggie-forward or gluten-free. We decided to order the Turkey Cobb salad for $14.45 and a seasonal summer salad for $13.95, which had strawberries, heirloom tomato, watermelon, quinoa, marcona almonds, arugula, and balsamic dressing. We also added shrimp for $7.45 and got their housemade lemonades, which were really refreshing. The meal was exactly what we were looking for. My body definitely appreciated the nutrient-dense food, but it still felt light, which was perfect since we were eating so late. I'm definitely a fan!

I especially loved the little side salad that came with it that I wasn't expecting. The French dip itself was savory, tender, flavorful and the horseradish added the perfect "kick" to the wrap. I'd definitely order it again but there were also so many other things that I'd try on the menu! I'll stop back every time I'm in Arizona because it's worth the trip to try everything that looks so yummy!

Afterwards, he mentioned that he tasted it and agreed about our comments- I appreciate that level of attention. Shortly after, the food arrived. Spicy pork tacos for me, and BLTA for my wife. The tacos looked a little overdressed. I was so wrong. Flavor and texture were balanced perfectly. The tortillas were firm, but again, perfectly suited to the juicy pork, that had a teriyaki vibe. Sprouts, carrot and cucumber toppings worked well, despite my expectations. The BLTA was HUGE. Great flavor. Both entrees were ordered with sweet potato fries. Unusual cut to them, but seasoned perfectly. I paired mine with chipotle aioli and ate every last one. My only complaint is that I'm only spending one evening in the Phoenix area, and won't be back soon. I would eat this food three times a week without hesitation.

We brought family from out of town and had a party of 11 (six adults and five kids). There was a long wait, which we completely understood. We spent the time at the bar where the service was excellent, and the kids browsed the nearby shops. Unfortunately, once we were seated, the experience went downhill. Our server seemed to have little sense of urgency. Everything took an unusually long time, but the biggest issue was the food, which took well over an hour despite being a very simple order of burgers, sandwiches, and other basic menu items. Throughout the wait, we watched tables seated after us receive their food and leave while we were still waiting. The most frustrating part was the lack of communication. Rather than checking in or providing an update, our server was frequently visible chatting with coworkers and rolling silverware. When our food finally arrived, it was at best room temperature, making it seem like it had been sitting for quite a while before being brought to the table. We asked to speak with a manager, who said she would look into it, but never returned to follow up. That lack of acknowledgment or accountability was even more disappointing than the delay itself. We declined the offer of dessert because we needed to get the kids home, yet instead of bringing the check promptly, our server spent additional time clearing the table before finally processing our payment. As someone who has worked as a server, I understand that delays happen and kitchens get backed up. What makes the difference is communication, ownership, and making guests feel like their time matters. None of that happened here. It's unfortunate because we've had good experiences in the past, but this visit left us embarrassed that we chose this restaurant to host visiting family.
