I love love love a good Rainbow Slush! Today I tried a new place, Sticky Icky in Long Beach & I was not disappointed! They had ALL the flavors I loved, like Cherry, Strawberry, Blue Raspberry, Green Apple, & Lemonade.. I got them ALL! What I really loved was I went during Happy Hour So My Slush was only $4!? A DEAL! & I love a good deal! My slush was so flavorful! It wasn't watered down & didn't melt too fast! Tea clean establishment! Lots of other sweet treat options! Great customer service! *Late post* For the LOVE of sweets! When visiting my hometown LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA it's a must that I stop by Sticky Icky for the best funnel cakes in Los Angeles County! My favorite is the Strawberry Sundae, however the others are just as good! The service is always pleasant, and quick. I like the fact that the owner is attentive to his customers and business. This venue is small, however there is a few tables if you choose to indulge there. The hip hop art on the wall captures the rhythm & flow of iconic rap artists from the city. I have had this place bookmarked for a LONG time. I was finally in the area a looking for dessert. Decided to mark this one off my list. It's located on in a small shopping center that had plenty of parking at the time I visited. They have lots to choose from so it was kinda hard to decide. Service was great the employee was so friendly. My son and I shared and it was plenty. There are a few tables inside to enjoy your treats. I saw many take their orders to go. The decor was cool. Pictures of Snoop, Tupac and even Fluffy!!! Yes Fluffy the Long Beach Legend!! I am a very simple woman so take this into consideration when I say this. This a perfect date idea. if you plan on coming here make sure you bring back up. Funnel Cakes are big enough to share with 1 or 2 extra. Unless you're a fat ass and can knock it off all to yourself. Been here couple of times already and can honestly say its been good every single time. They make them to order, so if you have no patience or in a rush, suggested that you come during a time that you're not rushed.

Fresh strawberries, bananas, warm chocolate drizzle, powdered sugar, and those brownie bites, I almost forgot to mention the vanilla ice cream over this delight ! We were in the mood for a funnel cake. I luckily we found this place through Yelp. It was tasty, fresh, and the prices were between $15-$20. I would give it an 8/10. The size was more on the small size (funnel cake). Not too shabby.!

I really enjoy their funnel cakes here! The Strawberry Sundae is my go to. The funnel cake is topped with strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top is just tooooo good I haven't tried the rest of the flavors yet because they are a shareable size and I really can't eat that much sugar by myself. I will try one of the chocolate ones next time. I wish they still had the rewards program but they took it away They're usually nice here. I love that this place is usually clean. Parking can be a little tight sometimes but I think anyone that has a sweet tooth will love it here.

These funnel cakes sure do good! They have different specialty options which are so good! I placed an order of 4 cakes and they are still ready in under 10 minutes! They work quick and are very time efficient. Very limited seating and parking, unfortunately. Still a good spot to try out.

Been here 3 times now since finding this little gem. Have tried the Oreo and Reese's funnel cake and Both were delicious. Staff always friendly. Parking lot is small and may need to park on street nearby.

Very cool spot. Had the strawberry shortcake funnel cake with ice cream. This thing was to die for. Great portion too!! Service was awesome and quick. The atmosphere was very cool, and hip. We will definitely be back!!

We ordered PB&J with Butter Pecan Ice Cream and the O.G. Split with a couple of small Mangonada Smoothies. The portion size was just right. The funnel cake was cooked well. The toppings were fresh and all the flavors worked nicely together. The smoothies are tasty and the chili stick adds a little more kick to the overall flavor. The service was friendly and efficient. There are 3 tables with about 5 chairs per table if you choose to eat in. The music played is mostly rap. Parking is tight. read more

STOP RIGHT HERE AND READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO......... So I went into this place wanting a smoothie and was told that this was the place to get a great refreshing smoothie as soon as I saw the way they were making it so I already knew it was like a slushy and once I tried it it was pretty bad but because I wanted some thing refreshing I drank it all and another thing was it was expensive to just throw away. Customer service totally sucked but I still went through with it. Now that I think about it maybe that's why they made the smoothie so bad long story short if you want a smoothie do not ever come here I will say they do have a lot of people in and out and some of their other desserts look great will I ever try this place again maybe one more time to redeem itself. And if it's good at that time I will update my review. They do have parking but parking is limited but there is street parking as well I will say that this place has a very cute atmosphere but has limited seating. It looks like your typical weed spot. This spot opened up by my aunts house in Long Beach and is the perfect spot for those epic cheat meal type grinds!!! I've been here a few times now and everything I've had has been amazing!!! If you want a good funnel cake with lots of options this is the place to go. It was delicious. This was our first time at this place and we played it safe with just strawberries and powdered sugar. This place is the best spot for funnel cake. It's a dispensary themed funnel cake spot, with made to order funnel cake. Not greasy, and so many options for everyone. I shared an OG split with my wife and it was more than enough for both of us. Highly recommend this spot if you want freshly fried desserts with ice cream and lots of different topping choices. Will definitely be back to try out the other flavors and fried Oreos. read more

The girls that were working were not welcoming, sassy, and seemed like they hated their jobs. Maybe they were having a bad day...? It sucked that no restrooms were available Prices ranges from $9+ We got the churro funnel cake, paid $16. The portion was huge. You get to choose from a list of different funnel cakes or you may create your own. Ours came with ice cream, churros, Nutella, and I added Cookie Crisp, all piled on a funnel cake. It was really good! Funnel cake was nice and hot, churros were crispy and crunchy. Great presentation Just wish the service was better and to offer public restrooms, considering people travel far to try unique places like this AND I'm a paying customer who spent $16. This place is amazing! So many options, from simple sweet food cravings like fresh fruit platters and smoothies to insane sugar rush options like loaded funnel cakes! From fried Oreos, to churro deliciousness to my favorite the cheesecake funnel cake with cheesecake ice cream, fresh strawberries, powdered sugar, pie crumbles and strawberry drizzle! These things are huge too, can be shared decently by 4 or savagely by 2. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Only downside for me is they have no restroom for customers, totally worth the UTI though. Will continue to come here when I need my funnel cake fix! read more

Kinda sucks that there's no seating cause everyone knows funnel cake is so good when it's fresh. So everything is to-go. We asked for everything on the side cause we had about a 20 min drive home. When we saw all the toppings - omg it was crests they gave us very generous portions. I loved it. Super tasty, but honestly it's kinda pricey. Yes, this purchase is during the 2020-2021 pandemic. You cannot go inside and they assist you directly at the door. Once you've placed your order & paid you'll receive a number for your order. I have never had a funnel cake until I had one the day before at Dana point wine music festival, I visit here. Stringy fried (similar to tempura and pancake) batter topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and powder sugar. I instantly fall in love with this carnival dessert! Then I yelped to find this place as a starter of finding the best funnel cake mission. This place is located in a neighborhood that is not so pretty. In the corner of a small commercial mall. Everyone here must be locals because they just pick up and leave. There's only two tiny sitting area. The funnel cake is HUGE! The funnel that they squeeze the batter is bigger so the cake doesn't have stringy texture, but fatter and thicker, so it tastes more like a fried pancake. For toppings, I didn't like all that artificial syrups, so I chose cinnamon powder with a scoop of cookies n cream ice cream. They give you more than a half pint size of ice cream scoop. Fresh and firm ice cream won't melt much nor too quick over steamy hot funnel cake!!! Location and ambience suck so I won't probably go out of my way but for locals, this place provides the best funnel cake I bet. read more

For my main meal I had to go with the Casarecce - one of their pastas that's made fresh in house daily. The braided pasta was wonderfully textured and soaked up all the pesto sauce without being overly oily, a perfect meal for a hot summer day. We finished our meal with a Nutella Croissant, from their artisan bakery that also makes their bread fresh every day. Perhaps I am a little biased, but the laminated dough was perfectly light and flaky, encasing a very generous filling of hazelnut chocolate cream. Weekend traffic on the sidewalks has become overwhelming, customers often park in alleyways or in unsafe locations, and it has made our neighborhood much more difficult to navigate. We brought these concerns to an employee, but were told there wasn't much they could do. If this business truly wants to be part of the community, I hope they take more responsibility for the impact they're having on the surrounding neighborhood. Encouraging customers to park responsibly, helping keep the area clean, and offering more reasonably priced menu options would go a long way toward building goodwill with the people who actually live here. I always want local businesses to succeed, but right now I can't recommend Zuzu's Petals based on both my experience and the ongoing issues it's created for nearby residents. Also beach cleaning isn't cleaning our neighborhood. That's no support to our neighborhood. Maybe have a neighborhood clean up day instead.

Sticky Icky Funnel Cake used to be my go-to spot for the best milkshakes (probably better for my health that they stopped serving them ), but once those were gone, I tried their funnel cake -- and wow, it did not disappoint. It instantly reminded me of summers at the Jersey Shore when I lived in Philly. The taste felt like home and was so nostalgic it honestly made me miss it. The funnel cake is fresh, warm, and comes in so many different varieties that it's hard to choose just one. I would absolutely order it again. The service is good, and while there isn't much of an ambiance -- it's more of a grab-and-go kind of place -- there are tables if you want to sit and eat. Most people seem to take it to go anyway. The crust has so much flavor and the texture of the cheesecake isnt crazy dense like most. Its the perfect amount of density. Not only is the cheesecake great but the owner and his family story is heartwarming.
