Been coming to this restaurant for a while and love the food. The owners and cooks are great but their staff sucks at waitresses. Two waited on the floor but it seems like they did not want to serve us. They took quite a while to get our water and gave us an attitude. I doubt I'll drive to come back to this restaurant anymore. My and my boyfriend were first timers here to check out their Phò. Despite reading about the mediocre reviews on the Phò and decided to give it a shot. I also purchased the deal on Yelp $10 for $20. Just in case the food was terrible it wouldn't be such a waste. They're in the process of doing renovations so it's looking just a lil rough inside. There was no one else there when we arrived so the service was prompt and our server was courteous (who happened to be the manager). We placed an order for 2 large Phòs and an order of Thai Egg Rolls. The wait time for our food was average so no complaints there. Our total was 23 and some change so outta pocket 13 and some change was paid, well worth it =] the full price wouldn't have been too bad either. Had it 3x before and it wasn't good. But this time I went one more time to see maybe it has changed since the last time (4years ago) and yes it was way better. Papaya salad was good, jerky was good, sausage was good but wasn't spicy, and pork belly was nice and crispy. Kao piek was little sweet. They ran out of kao poon. I really like this spot because there is nothing around like it in the area but the consistency is never the same. I always get nam Khao I think but the crispy rice with lettuce and it just never is the same.. it's good sometimes more sour which I love. Over all everything is great, they are quick wether you order on the phone, though app doesnt matter, also they gi e good portions for price. I have been coming here for over 5 years I love this place but today I had the worst experience ever they had fake sticky rice it didn't look anything like the rice I use to get it taste nasty the orange chicken was soggy and nasty also how can place be called sticky rice and they got fake sticky rice. I called to tell the girl and she didn't care I told her that she should tell people that they have a new sticky rice and she says ok like she didn't even care. Called my order ahead, they said it was going to be a 30 minute wait. . I get in paid for my food, they said it was going to be an additional 15 minutes, 15 minutes go by. It's now been an HOUR and FIFTEEN MINUTES since i called and placed my order, and they haven't even worked on it yet. They said that they have big orders placed, but people who came in after me already got their food. All i ordered was 2 papaya salad, kasoy, chowmein, and sticky rice. It wasn't a complicated order. Disappointed in the service. Big a$$ sign in the front says $10 off with $50 purchase. I spent $60 plus and I checked the receipt and the guy working the front told me I should have told him about the $10. Ummm what??? I've tried this place several times and used to get the spicy fried rice. Today I tried the yellow curry, pad kra pao, som Tom, pad kee mao, and pad thai, All with chicken. This is the closest to Thai/Lao food that I prefer other than my precious Sab e lee in San diego. The girl taking my order was patient and very professional. She helped me use my restaurant.com voucher. I believe this will be my go to for Lao food. only complaint, Thai tea was extra diabetes sweet but great food! Happy eating! read more

Let me start by saying I'm no expert in Thai food but the food here is off the charts. I'm a foodie by all means and was blown away by the quality here. Door dashed the beef pho, basil wings, and the chicken pad Thai. The beef pho with all the fixings put in is right at the heat threshold before it's painful. The heat lingers in your mouth and your lips leaving you wanting more. Do yourself a favor and check this place out as I know I'll be back to try some other things. I figured maybe it was just a bad day so I tried again today and it will be my last. First off let me start by saying that their food is authentic and extremely tasty. I have not had a chance to try many Laotian soups but this place definitely is not your super fast/super deep fried variety of asian food common in the valley. I tried the Pad Thai, Papaya Salad and Sabadiee Soup which may be the most aromatic soup I've tried this side of the Altamont. All are solid choices and served with the traditional sticky rice. The only downside I had was that they tend to run out of things like duck almost every time I go. I did find the service to be slightly understaffed since it is a family business but the food vastly outweighs any deficiencies there. Just ordered Sticky Rice thru Door Dash my first time eating from this Restaurant was a great experience all the way around. I ordered to try because they were offering free delivery I need that with all the other fees for sure. The food was stand out delicious and fresh, very good portions for a very fair price compared to my old favorite. The green curry had lots of veggies and very tender perfectly cooked chicken. I love Thai food for vegan dishes because so many dishes can be made that way with little fuss. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Staff was super friendly. They got a little swamped, but that's expected during lunch hour. Beef pho was decent. Didn't taste like beef broth though. Spring rolls were pretty plain, and huge. Made it hard to bite, and they ended up just falling apart. Wish they had like grilled pork rolls or used noodles inside. It was just too flavorless. I loved this place till today. I got the soup and there's tails on my shrimp no one wants to put there hands in hot soup to remove tails. The flavor of the soup was ok but then here comes the inedible bamboo. It's more like tree bark also something inedible. The spring rolls half had shrimp half did not. Barely authentic Thai food lacking the complexity and not at all having the 5 flavor laws of all Thai food: sour,sweet, spicy, salty, umami . Had the classic pad Thai and the spring rolls . While well presented, the promise of flavor died after the first bite . Spring rolls had a watery quality that was mildly off putting and the peanut sauce was basically watered down peanut butter. No spice , no song , no acidity, no Thai basil, practically a bad "fridge raid" version of a spring roll. Pad Thai was even more disappointing . The egg on top was a hard scrambled egg dumped in a lump ... as appetizing as a glug of warm fish sauce. The noodles were bathed in a sickly sweet thick sauce with no other discerning flavor beside sweet. Our server never asked how we'd like our pad Thai, so I assumed they knew their stuff . The spring rolls were way better when they had cilantro and mint inside. I have been buying from them since four years ago and it seems like they have been changing their menu a lot. Their pho has also changed. Sometimes the broth is really dark and delicious and other times it is watery; The only thing you can taste is garlic.
