Left my house in search of food. Upon arrival at Stir Crazy for takeout, realized I had no wallet. Asked for delivery instead. Owner said "next time". I'm paying him back tomorrow. I've never been to this restaurant before. (Polar opposite of a) FML. Muu Shu Chicken was great, too. read more

NEVER AGAIN!!!!! What a horrible place. Cute name, and it's only about a mile from home (which means that if the food was good, I would probably order from them about every two weeks). I will never order from them again. Panda Express is MUCH tastier and better quality - and about half the price. Go there instead! Seriously! First off - this place is terribly over-priced no-frills Chinese takeout. I didn't know this, because the menu that came up on my smart phone showed allegedly the lunch prices only. Which were reasonable. We ordered a pint of fried rice ($8), an order of orange chicken ($12) and an order of Walnut Shrimp ($15). NOW, if the food was excellent, I wouldn't bat an eyelash, but the food was AWFUL. We didn't eat much of it, that's how bad it was. The rice was dry and flavorless, the orange chicken was mushy and swimming in sauce that tasted off. There were also chunks of dried out orange rind mixed in. My husband bit down on one and thought it was a bone! The Walnut shrimp was GARBAGE. Also it was $15 for about 6 "shrimp".. rubbery butterflied medium shrimp - over-cooked, coated in mushy breading and slathered with mayonnaise. They were not even warm either. GROSS! - the only flavor they had was yuck. Half of the pint sized container they were in was filled with raw shredded cabbage and carrots! What a blatant rip-off! All of this is bad enough, right? Oh, no. I became very sick. vomiting and intestinal issues all night, and now, still going on the next day. This place should be shut down, or serious changes in price point and quality should be addressed. read more

I've lived in the Aloha area for many years and have been to Stir Crazy Kitchen many times. I've had no issues when I've eaten there. My problem is in the past few months I've ordered Orange Shrimp 3 times to take out. All 3 times I've gotten home to find out it wasn't shrimp, I'm not sure it was even chicken. Whatever it was it was tough and rubbery. I had difficulty cutting it with a steak knife. It's no accident. I won't be back. read more

Over an hour delivery time for noodles? They are 10 mins from my house. Wow. Not very flavorful so ended up just throwing it out. Might want to tell them to hold the MSG f you are susceptible as my heart was pounding out f my chest afterwards. Won't be back. :( read more

We try many places but this is the one we have found to be the best food at good prices. Our favorites: crab puffs, the chicken fried rice and the kung pao chicken. Everything has been very good if you want to try something new. read more

We had a couple of friends over and they recommended this place for dinner. It did not disappoint. We ordered five different dishes and it easily fed six people. The food was very tasty and there was plenty for everyone. I especially enjoyed the general tso's chicken and the beef fried rice. I'm so happy I've finally found a good Chinese take-away! The lady I spoke to on the phone very kindly suggested the General Tso's chicken when I worried out loud that the orange chicken would be too sweet. It was great! The service was fast and friendly, and the food perfectly adequate. Best Chinese ever? Nah. But when you're home from a long day and haven't eaten since breakfast, it's mana from heaven. Food is so bland! I've given this place 3 tries, but I'm done. Ordered general tsos recently and the sauce was so salty! Tasted like soy sauce. Portions aren't great and the prices are too high for what you get. I would rather just go to Panda Express.. Went there yesterday for the lunch special. Still cost 8.25 plus tip and they don't give you much food! Not even soup is included. Definitely won't be back. read more

If anyone has seen "Shaun of the Dead," you'll get this reference... this is my family's "Winchester." Stir Crazy Kitchen is our fallback restaurant, whenever we want to go out, but aren't sure what we feel like. My folks aren't particularly fans of this place, but they've served us well. Located in a strip mall on TV Highway, they're reasonably priced and I can only recall one time when I had something that I didn't particularly care for. (I wish I remembered what it was!) Our family has particularly enjoyed the kung pao chicken (I LOVE that it's mostly meat and they don't add a bunch of veggies!), the orange chicken, and the chicken with string beans. We also like that they offer brown rice as an option. The service is friendly... it probably helps, since we're probably single-handedly keeping them in business! :-) Plus, they do offer delivery. And kids get a kick out of watching them cook through the big open window into the kitchen. Lastly, we often see $5 off $25 coupons in the little Beaverton coupon book that comes out every few months. So, keep your eyes open for that. read more

I was searching for a place that delivers to where I live, which is at least 5 miles from most restaurants and outside delivery zones. I came across this place on yelp and noticed it was surprisingly close. I checked out the menu online and called to order. 2 entrees and an appetizer costed me about $26 which is normal for a restaurant. Also, free delivery with orders over $25 so I was happy. The food arrived about 45 minutes after calling. The rice was a little dry. Those little containers actually hold quite a bit of food, which was pretty good. I had a friend pick me up an order of Sweet and Sour Pork with House Special Lo Mein. If you just came in from a desert island and haven't had food for a year and a half, you'd still want to avoid this place. The box of sweet and sour pork came with only one tiny sauce container, about the size of your thumbnail. It was only enough to cover a few of the pork slices because they were so dry it sucked in the droplets of sauce like a sponge. They should call this dish Dry and Dusty Shoe Leather. The House special Lo Mein is supposed to contain beef, pork, chicken and shrimp. Apparently that means one small piece of each. The scarce meat lumps were all the same suspicious brownish, grey color. When we ate one of these rarities in the greasy noodles it tasted fishy. We prayed heartily that it was the elusive shrimp. read more

This is a hidden little gem for great Chinese food...plus they deliver within a 3 miles! Order sweet and sour chicken/pork/etc...best I've ever had with the sauce on the side so the meat is crisp/ not soggy! Cashew chicken is fresh and great flavor. WE have ordered 4 times now for delivery and have been happy every time. Tonight, we ordered something which arrived different than what we expected. I called and they sent out a replacement item within the hour. The delivery staff have always been very friendly and deliver with a smile every time. We have enjoyed all the items we have purchased. As for the price...we ordered 6 large containers and an order of spring rolls and it came to a little over $50. I have a husband and 3 boys, and we even have enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow. If we went out for dinner, we end up spending 20 bucks more for only one plate of food each. This is one of the first reviews I have ever done because I am tired of chronic complainers spending all their time finding fault in everything and blaming others for all their misfortunes. read more

This place has become our go-to for Chinese food. While we do it at the restaurant itself sometimes, we are more likely to order food to go. THey are very quick and the food is always fresh and warm. We LOVE their General Tsao's Chicken! The restaurant itself is quite nice, although the decor is a bit dated and the chairs are not the most comfortable. When we've come with our small kids, the staff has been very accommodating! When we do eat "in" it is usually because we are part of a larger party and we end up ordering one of their family meals, which are delicious and HUGE! read more

Don't waste your time, money or appetite. Friends recommended after having lunch. We went to dinner yesterday and horrible service and food. Had to ask server twice for meal - other three already served stagger and almost done eating-the whole time our table watched 5 cooks mainly standing around the line. My "House Special Lo Mien" was not so special. Mainly soy soaked noodles with 2 small shrimp and 3 pieces of chicken. Soup not included at dinner like lunch (and most restaurants). Have been a fan for many years. Food is always fresh and good! In September, I placed a large order to go for a small party that I was having at home. The Orange Chicken was over cooked and tasted bitter, almost burnt. I called the owner and he offered to replace the meal the next time I came in. I stopped by last night and he immediately remembered me. I ordered a few entrees and appetizers and told him that I'd pay for half of my order since it wasn't what I had ordered the previous time. He gave me the entire meal, on the house. I was amazed. Got the food home, it was hot and cooked to perfection. Love this place and the staff! Recommend highly! read more

Bad service and horrible quality of ingredients, the waitress lady was mean and the quality of food was not good. Price is also high and quality of food was worse than panda express. The kung pao chicken and sesame beef tasted gooey and was expensive. I would much rather eat at panda express because it tastes better and is half the price. read more

I have been coming here for over 15 years. Their food is authentic and I really like the open kitchen view. Bonus is they deliver.

Not to say I still don't love thus place but I feel lately things have been HORRIBLE. I ordered the orange chicken with white rice and a side of fried rice. When I got there my order was wrong and the lady told me their was nothing she could do about it bc I already paid. I said well this wasn't how I ordered my food. She tried to argue with me. So I just gave up. I take my food home taste my chicken it's soooooooo SALTY that it isn't even edible. My boyfriend and cousin taste it and they both spit it out. I call them to complain and change my order she told me my only options were to bring back the chicken and get something else or get a refund. After going back and forth bc she wasn't trying to accommodate me and my situation I asked for a refund. She tells me she will have the manager call me and give me a refund. I have still yet to hear from the manager or get my refund and it's been about 2 weeks. read more

Very disappointing! The lemon chicken was like no other . The chicken was 10% chicken and 90% batter and the side of " lemon sauce " looked like chicken broth and I cant even describe what it tasted like!!! The Lo Mein wasn't any better. We won't be going back. read more
