Yum! Came here with family after they'd been raving about the schnitzel. It did not disappoint! It was cooked well, and came with delicious spätzle and roasted veggies. You get to pick from one of four sauce toppings-my parents both got the mushroom sauce, but I went for beer and bacon. I also got one of their seasonal drinks (I can't remember the name of it and the menu online isn't updated!)-it was good, but in the future I might stick to beer since that's kind of their specialty. Our server was friendly and helpful with questions. Even though the restaurant filled up as we got later into the evening, it never got overly loud, which was nice. I will definitely go back next time I'm in town!

Great service and nostalgic visit. Frequented this building many a time in college. Pleasant rediscovery.

I went at an off time. I still was able to enjoy all that stone arch brewpub had to offer. I did sit in the pub area, which was nice. Next time I think I might sit more in the restaurant area and see what that is like. I chose stone arch because of the sale that they were offering. It was a caprese, peach salad. The presentation was very nice. It was lettuce, sliced fresh, peaches, mozzarella pearls, fresh basil, and baby tomatoes. I think it came with a vinaigrette dressing. It did not disappoint. Being in Wisconsin I also got a side of cheese curds. Really unusual for me. Since they were square came with the ranch dressing. Quite excellent. Service was good. Prices reasonable I would return.

This was such an awesome place!!! We absolutely loved it here and spent quite a bit of time here. We had originally planned to make this a quick stop but ended up getting a tour haha. This is an old brewery which originally was two buildings. The Horse and buggies would pull up in between the buildings and unload/load up. This has since been bricked in and is the main entrance and hallway. The main brewery is downstairs. There is a tap room and gift shop on the main floor. Upstairs is an event space. There is also a very nice outdoor seating area. The beer is great! We didn't eat, but we loved the whole dining area in the brewery. There's also a game room which was super cute. The guy working in the gift shop loved his job and was super passionate. He and his wife got married there! I have already recommended people come here and check it out. It was fantastic!!

My wife and I rarely go out to eat and in the past stone arch was always a favorite. Not anymore, the food was mediocre at best. The short rib/brisket burger is a pre made patty that looks like a Burger King burger. My food was cold, and I mean really cold. The pizza was good so I'll give them a 2 star, but when you spend over $120 on a meal for your family and it not only sucks but they refuse to even say sorry. It's unacceptable

I am not from the area. I'm from a southern state. This place was recommended by the locals and I can see why. There were a lot of different choices in the kind of "atmosphere" you can have when you come here. You can sit outside, in the basement, by the music, and a large slew of other options. The food, comes out fast and with good quality. I've never had Cheese Curds before in my life and I'm afraid that wherever I go, it wont be as good as it is here. The beer is decent. there are a lot of beer options and I only had a couple but I thought they were good for the price paid. 9/10 would recommend.

The burgers were very good and the kettle chips had an excellent crunch. The waiter was constantly attending our group of 16 and put up with noisy babies and toddlers. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and the pub ambience proved an excellent overall experience, will definitely come again!

Excellent food and drink in a historic unique setting. Had the opportunity to stop by this amazing restaurant during work travels for a glorious meal and beverage. The service was amazing and the atmosphere energy and clientele matched.

"Meh." That was our thought while walking out of here (well, and after our first few bites of our meal too). I have been hankering for a GOOD plate of nachos for a few months now, and Stone Arch wasn't my initial choice, but after seeing their Carnitas Nachos on the menu, I thought I'd go here and give it a try! Isn't it deflating when you have been looking forward for a yummy, filling supper after a long week of work? Or a long day? and then you get your food and, while it takes care of the "filling the stomach" part, it fails on the flavor-fulfilling aspect of the meal? That was this. This was that. It filled my stomach, and by no means did it taste bad, but it just really didn't...TASTE like much. Very flat flavor. Boring, and super mediocre. I was expecting them to be better, especially for $14. My SO ordered their BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich, and he said his sandwich wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't memorable. Go here for average, and you'll be satisfied.

Outdoors area in February at lunch time.

Good food. Good service. Unique atmosphere. I would recommend the cheese curds and shepherds pie. Lots of good brews to choose from.

Ask the Community - Stone Arch Brewpub

Is this the original brew pub in the basement that I went to 40 yrs ago and got cherry beer?

We have been here for 17 years, and were formerly know as Stone Cellar (2004-2012). Prior to us there were a number of restaurants, breweries, and other businesses here in the "Between the Locks" building. We have an excellent Cherry Wheat brew that…

What's the difference between the stone Arch Brewpub and the Stone Cellar?

Hey! Stone Cellar was it's previous name. There was a name change a couple years ago but it's the same great place!

McFleshman's has a personality that immediately separates it from the cookie-cutter brewery experience. The taproom has a classic old-school pub feel, with beautiful woodwork, vintage details, artwork, a fantastic stained-glass backbar and plenty of little spaces to explore. The brewery's history and craftsmanship really show. The taproom incorporates old-growth Wisconsin oak, and the stained-glass backbar is reportedly more than 100 years old. We decided to start with a couple of beer flights so we could sample our way through the tap list before committing to full pours. That's always my preferred strategy when visiting a new brewery, and McFleshman's gave us plenty to explore. The beer selection reflects the brewery's focus on traditional German lagers and British/English-style ales, while also giving visitors some more contemporary options. But honestly, one of the biggest draws for me was the outdoor beer garden. This is the kind of patio where I could easily see myself spending an entire afternoon. The combination of picnic tables, greenery, string lights, hanging bicycles and the overall laid~back atmosphere gives it a very distinctive personality. Inside, the pub atmosphere continues with the woodwork, stained glass and cozy seating areas. It's the kind of place that feels like it has been around forever~even though McFleshman's itself opened in 2018. Our service experience was a little mixed. The beertender was somewhat standoffish & crunchy when we were asking questions, and the brewery had just opened when we visited. I didn't let one person's attitude define the entire establishment, especially because everything else about the experience was enjoyable. But hey--maybe we caught them before the first beer kicked in. Maybe she needs a team builder shot, 1st thing in the morning . And that's ultimately where I landed: Great beer selection. ‍Fantastic atmosphere. Seriously cool outdoor space. Loads of character. I'd absolutely return~especially for that patio. I could see McFleshman's being a fantastic brewery-crawl stop, beer~festival hangout, St. Patrick's Day destination or simply a place to post up with friends and spend an afternoon drinking good beer. Would return? ABSOLUTELY YES!!!.

They do not have physical menus or servers to take people's orders; customers scan a QR code to get the online menu and order at the bar area. I can't speak to the craft beer and wine aspect to the restaurant, but they do offer some delicious craft sodas for people looking for nonalcoholic options. Although they have "normal" woodfire pizza choices (traditional pepperoni, cheese, etc.), the highlight is their rotating menu of inventive specialty savory and dessert pizzas. I found their "normal" pizza to be just ok, but the tomato soup pizza (Souper Slice) was incredibly flavorful and unique! It's definitely worth taking the leap of faith for some of their more out-there sounding pizza options. Since they have limited oven space to cook the pizzas, food can take a while to come out if it's busy. Plan ahead and use that time to relax and enjoy their drinks, or come during an off-peak time for less wait.
