Yum! Came here with family after they'd been raving about the schnitzel. It did not disappoint! It was cooked well, and came with delicious spätzle and roasted veggies. You get to pick from one of four sauce toppings-my parents both got the mushroom sauce, but I went for beer and bacon. I also got one of their seasonal drinks (I can't remember the name of it and the menu online isn't updated!)-it was good, but in the future I might stick to beer since that's kind of their specialty. Our server was friendly and helpful with questions. Even though the restaurant filled up as we got later into the evening, it never got overly loud, which was nice. I will definitely go back next time I'm in town!

Great service and nostalgic visit. Frequented this building many a time in college. Pleasant rediscovery.

I went at an off time. I still was able to enjoy all that stone arch brewpub had to offer. I did sit in the pub area, which was nice. Next time I think I might sit more in the restaurant area and see what that is like. I chose stone arch because of the sale that they were offering. It was a caprese, peach salad. The presentation was very nice. It was lettuce, sliced fresh, peaches, mozzarella pearls, fresh basil, and baby tomatoes. I think it came with a vinaigrette dressing. It did not disappoint. Being in Wisconsin I also got a side of cheese curds. Really unusual for me. Since they were square came with the ranch dressing. Quite excellent. Service was good. Prices reasonable I would return.

This was such an awesome place!!! We absolutely loved it here and spent quite a bit of time here. We had originally planned to make this a quick stop but ended up getting a tour haha. This is an old brewery which originally was two buildings. The Horse and buggies would pull up in between the buildings and unload/load up. This has since been bricked in and is the main entrance and hallway. The main brewery is downstairs. There is a tap room and gift shop on the main floor. Upstairs is an event space. There is also a very nice outdoor seating area. The beer is great! We didn't eat, but we loved the whole dining area in the brewery. There's also a game room which was super cute. The guy working in the gift shop loved his job and was super passionate. He and his wife got married there! I have already recommended people come here and check it out. It was fantastic!!

My wife and I rarely go out to eat and in the past stone arch was always a favorite. Not anymore, the food was mediocre at best. The short rib/brisket burger is a pre made patty that looks like a Burger King burger. My food was cold, and I mean really cold. The pizza was good so I'll give them a 2 star, but when you spend over $120 on a meal for your family and it not only sucks but they refuse to even say sorry. It's unacceptable

I am not from the area. I'm from a southern state. This place was recommended by the locals and I can see why. There were a lot of different choices in the kind of "atmosphere" you can have when you come here. You can sit outside, in the basement, by the music, and a large slew of other options. The food, comes out fast and with good quality. I've never had Cheese Curds before in my life and I'm afraid that wherever I go, it wont be as good as it is here. The beer is decent. there are a lot of beer options and I only had a couple but I thought they were good for the price paid. 9/10 would recommend.

The burgers were very good and the kettle chips had an excellent crunch. The waiter was constantly attending our group of 16 and put up with noisy babies and toddlers. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and the pub ambience proved an excellent overall experience, will definitely come again!

Excellent food and drink in a historic unique setting. Had the opportunity to stop by this amazing restaurant during work travels for a glorious meal and beverage. The service was amazing and the atmosphere energy and clientele matched.

I got dinner with two friends on a Saturday night. The place was packed, but we had a great server and didn't have to wait long for our food. Two of the meals were overly salted, but that would depend on your preference. The decorations and setting were very original and fun. The cheese curds were great!

"Meh." That was our thought while walking out of here (well, and after our first few bites of our meal too). I have been hankering for a GOOD plate of nachos for a few months now, and Stone Arch wasn't my initial choice, but after seeing their Carnitas Nachos on the menu, I thought I'd go here and give it a try! Isn't it deflating when you have been looking forward for a yummy, filling supper after a long week of work? Or a long day? and then you get your food and, while it takes care of the "filling the stomach" part, it fails on the flavor-fulfilling aspect of the meal? That was this. This was that. It filled my stomach, and by no means did it taste bad, but it just really didn't...TASTE like much. Very flat flavor. Boring, and super mediocre. I was expecting them to be better, especially for $14. My SO ordered their BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich, and he said his sandwich wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't memorable. Go here for average, and you'll be satisfied.

Outdoors area in February at lunch time.

Good food. Friendly service. Cool historic place. We went for lunch which is probably lower key. All of the food was good. We had pizzas, Schnitzel, salads. All good.

They have very good pizza and some unique appetizers like the Scotch egg. They also have a variety of burger options with meat like elk.

Ask the Community - Stone Arch Brewpub

Is this the original brew pub in the basement that I went to 40 yrs ago and got cherry beer?

We have been here for 17 years, and were formerly know as Stone Cellar (2004-2012). Prior to us there were a number of restaurants, breweries, and other businesses here in the "Between the Locks" building. We have an excellent Cherry Wheat brew that…

What's the difference between the stone Arch Brewpub and the Stone Cellar?

Hey! Stone Cellar was it's previous name. There was a name change a couple years ago but it's the same great place!

I don't know how often the menu changes, but it seemed clear that it did change. There is also a menu of wine, beer, and spirits available. I enjoyed excellent service from Claire and a truly exceptional meal consisting of the Scramble (duck egg, ramps, fingerling potatoes, and topped with crispy potato chips), Country Pate (toast points, stone ground mustard, pickled collard green stems and carrots, and fennel), and Smoked Ribs (corn bread with thyme butter and collard greens)! I loved the vibe of the place, which made it seem like a casual bar with decent bar food. I did not expect the high level of quality dishes I saw on the menu, which followed through to the plate compositions, and then onto my palate! There wasn't a single disappointing bite in any of the three dishes I ordered, which were all from the small plate/appetizer section of the menu under "Colds" and "Hots." The Country Pate board was a perfect start, and the Ribs are smoked in their outdoor smoker, providing a slight smoky flavor and very tender meat. Ribs are served over delicious collard greens and with a side of cornbread and thyme butter. I tasted an herb in the cornbread and forgot to ask, but it may have also been thyme, or just my imagination. The cornbread wasn't moist, but also wasn't dry, and it had the crumbly texture one looks for in cornbread. I did not expect to taste collard greens this good in Neenah. The Scramble was absolutely perfect! You can tell from the photo how perfectly the duck eggs were cooked. There were fluffy and flavorful, and they were served over sliced fingerling potatoes, and then topped with crispy housemade potato chips. I wanted to order more, but I was satisfied, and it was getting late. I still had a 90 minute drive back home and work the next morning. If you're anywhere Neenah, I highly recommend you eat here!

My wife and I visited Town Council for the first time on a Thursday evening, and the place was…read moreabsolutely buzzing. Thankfully, we had a reservation for two seats at the high-top bar directly in front of the open kitchen and service line, which gave us a front-row view of the chefs and dishes heading out to the dining room. More on those seats later. The restaurant itself is modern, stylish, and upscale without feeling pretentious. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. For drinks, I ordered a Lion's Tail beer while my wife enjoyed a prosecco. We started with two appetizers: the Country Pâté for me and the Wisconsin Cheese Plate for my wife. Both were served with pickled vegetables, including cucumbers and red onions, and both were excellent. The portions were surprisingly generous and, in hindsight, we probably could have shared just one appetizer and been perfectly happy. One of the highlights of the evening was watching the kitchen in action. Despite a packed dining room and the added chaos of Thursday burger night, the chefs took time to chat with us and were incredibly kind and hospitable. The chef-owner, who was working directly in front of us, recommended the Roasted Trout, while my wife chose the Roasted Beets. The trout was beautifully cooked. The skin was left on and crisped to perfection, pairing wonderfully with the spaetzle. My only criticism is that it was noticeably oversalted. It wasn't enough to ruin the dish, but it did have me reaching for my water glass more often than I'd have liked. A few bites from my wife's beet dish provided a nice balance, as it was light, fresh, and flavorful. By the end of the meal, we were far too full for dessert, so we settled our tab and prepared to leave. Now, back to those high-top bar seats. The chairs are very tall. I'm six feet tall and still had to hoist myself up into mine. My wife, who is five feet tall, practically had to climb aboard. The view is fantastic, but after an hour and a half, a couple of drinks, and a great meal, it's easy to forget just how far off the ground you are. As I got up to leave, I nearly lost my footing and almost tumbled out of my chair. Unfortunately, my wife wasn't as lucky. She fell backward, hitting her head on the concrete floor and bruising her leg and forearm as she tried to break her fall. Thankfully, she was okay and didn't need medical attention, but she ended up with a sizable bump on her head and some impressive bruises. So, a word of caution: if you're seated at the high-top bar, be aware of the height. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent, but those chairs are not for the faint of heart. Consider bringing a parachute. Would definitely return, though perhaps next time we'll request a table closer to ground level.
