TVs, indoor and outdoor seating, AC, and really bomb taco guy outside. Service is great. Love it here! I'm so impressed by the tacos outside. Can't go wrong with any order. My favorite is the Wagyu from the trio street tacos.

Love this place and will still be a regular however one of the staff today oddly asked me to not sit on my boyfriend's lap (on his knee showing him pictures on my phone) in the outside seating. I understand if the establishment was not a literal brewery, or if we were being lurid in our behavior, however neither was the case. What made it worse is the bartender asked us not to sit like that because the chairs are very old and weak which is troubling in its own. Anyway still great offerings and hope the chairs improve before someone gets hurt!!

With a couple hours of free time in Pasadena, Stone Brewing Tap Room is a great place to stop for some drinks while getting laptop work done (they have wifi!), read a book, or doomscroll in a beautiful patio space watching comer & goers from the train station. I went solo but they have tables in tons of sizes so group hangs and dates are good here, too! Personally, I love a good people watching spot and enjoyed hanging out at Stone yesterday afternoon. I grabbed a tall two top in the corner of the outdoor patio and was super relaxed. The staff was great, helping me with recommendations and super quick & generous on the pours. I came in to try a 2016 Imperial Russian Stout I saw they had tapped and ended up trying taster size portions of 6 beers - all very solid. I'm biased to love deep cuts so the 10.6% Imperial Russian Stout was my fav of the day but I also enjoyed the lightness of the Stone Wil Power, a 4.5% fruited kettle sour with mango, tangerine and lychee. They have a ton of indoor seating but also the patio is just so nice & relaxing here. Very chill, quiet vibes and they open at 12pm on weekdays. Perfect atmosphere for work meetings or a liquid lunch meetup. Even the bathroom was cool with colorful grafitti abound. I liked the whole vibe of Stone. It's a cool brewery plopped down in the middle of Pasadena! For non-beer people, a Miller Lite is 4.2% in comparison so why not have a much tastier craft beer in place of that swill! Really enjoyed Stone Brewing in Pasadena and it was a perfect experience. I will absolutely be back!

Always a must stop while in Pasadena ! Staff is always friendly and I love to get a flight and try all the small batch series .

Stone has a wide variety of beers here at this tap room so there's a good chance you'll be able to find something you like. In addition to the large seating area inside they also have a patio right in front of the entrance & additional picnic style seating in the courtyard area. Great spot to hang out and have a beer in the evening or afternoon. The tap room is also located right next to one of the stops for the Metro Gold line (or whatever letter LA decided to change the name to). I doubt they have a kitchen inside since we saw they had a taco truck catering when we came so I assume you can bring outside food with you or just order from whoever has their food truck here that day.

Stone Brewing Tap Room in Pasadena isn't the largest Stone location I've been to, but it offers plenty of beer selections on tap. They also sell merch, pretzels, and to-go beers in cans. Beers here are $9, which is pricey compared to what you'd find at a grocery store, but the main draw is the variety of options available. They also host events like game night trivia, adding to the experience. The space was lively with plenty of people inside. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, and parking is available in a nearby structure. The service was friendly--when I asked for water, they even asked if I wanted ice or no ice. The taproom was very clean and had the typical Stone Brewing aesthetic. They also feature rotating food vendors, like Bomba Yucateco Delicacy, which serves flavors from Yucatán. Overall, this brewery is in a prime location of Pasadena and worth a visit.

We love this spot for a casual beer. Staff are always friendly and quick service even when busy. Always a lot of different options to make anyone happy. Nice patio with a few tables outside which our kids enjoy watching the trains go by. They often have a restaurant come and offer bites on the patio to eat or conveniently can order pizza from next door.

First time here! Ordering is a little different, we sat for a bit until they mentioned you have to scan the code on the table. The app places order and keeps your tab open until you close it. REMEMBER to close your tab it stated 20% will be automatically charged if you forget. Which I don't mind since I tip that amount for great service anyway. This a pretty cool spot they have a patio and indoor seating, small snack selection chips, pretzels, candy etc. the staff was friendly . Drinks are cold and tasty, I just wish they had food. You can order from nearby restaurants and bring it in but I prefer being able to sit and order from one place and order throughout my meal service. Overall great place to hang out. We'll be back for sure.

Wish I lived closer or I would be here a ton! Great selection of core and rotating taps. Nice merch section and take home selection as well. Pleasure to meet Mike and the rest of the team; I'll definitely be back.

My group of friends and I went during the World Cup craziness. We had just come from another bar after the game had concluded and with an hour left before closing the hospitality was still as great as ever! I can imagine how crazy busy they might have been before we arrived but I'm glad the quality of service we received was good. I didn't know what to try and the sweet lady at the register gave me some great recommendations. I went with a seltzer and it was amazing (especially coming from another bar I wanted something light haha & no I was not driving). I will definitely be returning and with a group of friends again because the space is very nice and the vibes were great! Perfect spot for game days or an outing with some buddies. As for parking, it's located in the busy area of Pasadena and centered around a residential area expect to park far or in a parking structure; that means walking! There is no food service at this location but they seem to partner with a couple food trucks serving tacos. Some inside open air seating but the main draw is the relaxing patio. I liked their hard seltzers with fun flavors as jicama, tamarindo and passionfruit. I didn't like so much their signature Yerba Mate Pale Ale, but thought it was an interesting concept. The happy hour special is Monday all day and Tuesday-Friday open until 6pm $2 off full pours. Very family friendly, I always see a couple tables with children and dogs at them. Maybe I'm getting to be an old fuddy duddy but I hate when parents let their kids go free range. Screaming and running around like the establishment is a park these kids becoming trip hazards. There needs to be a revamp of their board game collection. There three boxes of games that looked incomplete or used up, not good with such games as Scrabble and Pictionary. Free Wifi with log-in is a bonus!

What makes 1894 truly special is how intentionally it celebrates literature. Everything in the bar pays homage to the bookstore. The drink menu is full of clever, book-inspired names. You'll find cocktails like Pride and PearJudice Pride, Fifty Shades of Earl Grey, and other fun literary twists. Every drink feels like a little wink to readers, writers, and book lovers, and it adds such a unique charm to the experience. The vibe is super quaint and warm, dim lighting, and a creative atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. The wine is on the pricier side ($19-$21 per glass), but the quality delivers. Customer service was excellent. One of the bartenders spent time chatting with us. He pointed out a chalk artwork behind the bar a dramatic portrait he drew himself featuring expressive, literary-style faces, like Edgar Allan Poe, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, etc. It fits perfectly with the creative, bookish aesthetic of the bar. Our server gave us a little insider tip and told us that if we wanted the biscuits, we should order them right away because they take a little time. Girl... those biscuits were SO good. I could have easily ordered another round. Warm, delicious, and absolutely worth the wait. We had the shaved celery salad with them, and I have to say, I'm not usually a big celery fan because I feel like it doesn't taste like much. But this salad completely changed my mind.
