I had to put my own bbq dice cause it needed something.

My rib eye was delivered dry. No sauce on the side. Lacking flavor. Asparagus were extremely overcooked, they looked like skimpy string beans. Smashed potatoes were also shy. I like the crab cake and Mac is delicious. I wish rib eye had more flavor.

Food in this area is very sparse, so we tried this on a whim. Food was tasty overall. I got the special- chicken Caesar wrap with French fries. The service was good. A friend was at our table who has a lot of dietary needs (gluten, dairy, and soy) and she struggled to find something on the menu, so fyi for others with that issue. Service was attentive and met expectations. Ambiance was a little dark for midday and maybe a bit outdated all around. While it was positive overall, it didn't feel like anything very special.

On our way to Cape May NJ & not wanting to stop at a rest stop we found this place & glad we did. It's a sports bar with a dining-room. Clean and nicely lit. The service was excellent, from the hostess to the server. The food was tasty and prepared to order. I had the chicken sliders with sweet potato fries and hubby had the short-rib cheesesteak with shoestring fries. He really enjoyed his meal. I did too but my fries needed an extra minute or two in the frier and the chicken was small and they are already sliders so the chicken should be the size of the bun, but in all fairness everything was very tasty and fresh.

Have not been here in a long time and was pleasantly surprised with the food. The fish tacos were so good with Ahi Tuna. The Macaroni salad was rob the best part was warm and garlicky. Our waitress was very friendly. Great atmosphere and comfortable booths.

Came here on a Sunday night after another local spot was too busy to seat us. We sat outside immediately (we have a large stroller and we fit perfectly fine) & our waitress Madison was attentive and friendly. We ordered Caesar salad and mozzarella pops to start. Both were delicious, fresh and flavorful. Both large enough to share between two people. I ordered the fried chicken and Mac and cheese which again was fresh and delicious. My boyfriend had the salmon with roasted potatoes and asparagus. We left full and pleasantly surprised.

Stone Fire Grille is a real friendly restaurant/bar just South of Toms River. Their food is very good and the staff are super friendly, especially at the bar, namely Tía..una camarera muy simpática y servicial. I asked for a beer menu, No, she replied and began to recite. No craft beer???.....so I ordered a Johnny Walker Black. Then I yearned for a Philly Cheesesteak, SOME COMBO, huh? The sandwich was great with pickles and fries. The jalapeños kicked it up a notch. They have a variety of food from snacks to full entrees. Big parking lot, clean restrooms, good music capped off a nice evening. I gave it four stars because it's excellent for the type of place it is, not gourmet but decent food, not a classy bar, just a nice local hang out. Tía says it's always busy.

    Gross chicken noodle soup!

I'm only giving it a two because the bingo hosted by BJ was so much fun! The food was horrible! The chicken noon soup tasted weird, seared tuna fishy and gross, and my sister's shared the French dip they said was good. I would go for bingo and a drink definitely not food!

Not only does the food taste truthfully out of this world, but you will also find that the service is incredible! From the moment you walk inside, you are met with a ton of friendly faces who without a doubt will treat you just like family. They are incredibly kind people who put hard effort into making sure that each meal is prepared with care, and that each person feels safe and comfortable under their roof. I must also comment that I myself am a very picky eater with odd sensory difficulties. It is typically very difficult for me to find many foods or meals that I feel are safe to eat, and that don't trigger any sort of reluctance. However at Thymes, they offer a wide variety of different meals and desserts, so locating something that I felt was both appetizing and safe to eat was no problem at all. I've been a proud frequent flier for the past 3 years, and without a doubt intend to keep going back as much as possible before I go off to college next year. To say that I will genuinely miss Thymes and more so the generous souls that have always been there for me is an understatement. More than five stars if I could. Keep up the amazing work.

They offer a creative kitchen and culinary trained owner/chef, that attempts to do most things from scratch, but does also sell bakery products from nearby ovens where the quality is exceptional. I stopped in after court earlier this week. I had driven a long way, leaving home early enough to skip breakfast, and was hoping to make up for that after exiting court. Yelp found me this bistrot, and as usual, the reviews were accurate and a strong invitation. I went with a short stack of french toast and bacon, with fresh coffee to wash it all down. I received two half slices of a good thick cut loaf, nicely soaked in an egg/vanilla/cinnamon/sugar mix, with well done bacon and a wedge of sweet cantaloupe as garnish. It was all tasty and an excellent flavor/texture balance. The java was refilled twice while I ate. Service was friendly and efficient - as would be expected when the only customer in the house. The only shortcoming was the table syrup, which was generic. An offer of pure Grade B maple would have made this a near perfect ensemble. Apparently, there is quite a brunch crowd on weekends, when the bakery offerings are also at their optimal choices.

Not that we needed it (explained later.) There is a 3.29% service fee on the receipt. They will charge it for debit cards, too, which I was under the impression that's illegal. There is nothing in there to absorb all the noise, so if you have sensory issues this is not the place. Both of us are constantly at concerts and this was overwhelming. We couldn't talk to each other comfortably. The bolognese ($24) looked more of a vodka sauce than tomato and had way too much oil in it. His gnocchi ($24) was a good sauce, but the gnocchi itself tasted like it came from a box. The real star was the bread and dip they brought out. Had a bunch of garlic and crushed red pepper in it. I ate more of that than my pasta. From the moment we sat down we were rushed. The server was kind, but we barely had time to look over the menu. Once the check was brought she hovered. My bf barely got his signature finished before she collected the receipt and tried to take all the glasses off the table (she did put the water back down.) It was very crowded so I'm sure they want to turn tables, but back off. We felt unwelcome, and it certainly wasn't a dinner we needed to rush through. Safe to say we won't be back.
