Meal was delicious and service was excellent! Appetizer was honey chipotle wings and ahi tuna tacos. Both were great and the sauce on the wings was absolutely delicious. For the entires I ordered the hanger steak with smashed potatoes which was really good and a decent portion! Perfectly cooked and had that taste of the grill on it that every steak should have. My girlfriend ordered the Yucatán salmon that she said was delicious as well and was also a size able portion. For desert we had Reese's brownie with vanilla ice cream on it and creme brûlée's. Both very good. Overall we were very pleased with the prices and quality of food. Our server was Rachel who was very friendly, as were all the staff. The chef even came out to chat with us because we were making such a big deal of the honey chipotle sauce so he wanted to talk. That was a nice touch. Would probably return. read more

Ok. So please read my 2 stars not for the food or the service, but for the complete disregard for enforcing social distancing and mask wearing. I went on a Friday, for dinner. Service was great. Food was really good. I'd definitely go back for that! But. To get in, I had to walk through groups of people smoking right outside the door. That's an automatic turnoff. I'm not against the choice to smoke--not at all. I just don't want to walk through the clouds of smoke and especially not through crowds during the pandemic. The bar is open. People sitting shoulder to shoulder, and when I left the restaurant, the bar was in some places 2 people deep. The dining room was relatively empty when I got there so I felt comfortable. About 3/4 way through dinner, though, it began to fill up. There were groups of 10-15 people sitting at tables, one of which was near the bar. It was presumably a party--I saw balloons and gifts. Patrons would get up and walk to the bar and go back, leave to go outside, walk to the bathroom--no masks, and lots of personal, close contact. I won't go back there because I didn't feel safe. My choice. It was a demonstration of a complete inability to enforce social distancing and mask wearing among patrons, and risked their health--and mine. My opinion. I'm sharing it with you so you can make up your own mind whether or not to visit this restaurant during the pandemic. I left quickly after dinner. We always find a seat here because the place is so large. The bar crowd is diverse in age and look as are the diners. The food is good and fresh; it's basically pub food. Portions are generous. My boyfriend thinks their burgers are the best in the area. I enjoy the music on the weekends. It is our local go-to place. read more

First time trying this place. Clean and tastefully refurbished, this is the site of the old Velocity nightclub. We asked the waiter for an app recommendation and he suggested the artichoke and onion dip. Came with slices of French bread and crudités. It was smokey, slightly spicy and very good! I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken with Mac n cheese and gravy. Was odd seeing the Mac n cheese swimming in gravy but apart from the chicken being cooked too long it was forgiven by the creamy pasta. Also tried the Italian egg rolls which were pretty good and the broccoli rabe wasn't bitter. The bangers and mash were a hit too with plenty of mash. Maybe one of worst meals I ever had. I order prime r Rib it came out grey on the outside and raw on the inside. Waiter took it back to have i redone and manager brought out same piece of meat thrown on the griddle for a while. It was like eating rubber. I asked for bread because waiter never brought any out and waiter brought 4 pieces of stale itialian bread. The only reason we came was because my daughter got us a gift card. I tipped waiter $16. I picked Stone Fire Grille because of the name. It looks small on the outside, but is a sizable venue. I ordered a panini. So did my friend. They were very large in portion. The taste was good, but they could stand to upgrade on their meat. Get some Boar's Head. The bread was also hard, which is why I ate only half of my sandwich. Fries came with the order. They were delicious and I ate EVERY single one of my French fries. We ordered mimosas. At $4.00, who can resist? When the bill came out, they were charged at $5.00. So we had to get that corrected. It was definitely a side eye moment where you wonder if they try to get over on people unless they catch it. Nevertheless, they corrected it without any problem whatsoever. Service was friendly, and always popped up just when we were about to say how they've been gone. If I'm in the area, I would return. Lots of televisions. Very reasonably priced food. I was hesitant to eat at SFG because the outside didn't look like much, but was pleasantly surprised by the inside of the restaurant. I ate here with my wife and kids tonight. When we entered we were surprised at how well done the inside and outside deck were done. The bar area is huge, the dining room is two tiered and the construction and decor are modern and warm. Were were seated quickly and Maria, our waitress, took our drink order. She was very nice, open about the menu choices and made some recommendations when we asked what was good. I was originally ordering a steak but took the recommendation that the short ribs are moist and you do not even need a knife to cut them. My wife ordered the short rib dinner with smashed potatoes. I ordered the cheese steak - a twist thats made with short ribs instead of steak with onions, peppers and chess. The Menu is all over the place with out of place combinations and a "try-too-hard" attempt to be gourmet. Our server noted that the burgers are hand made, not prepackaged. My kids got the burger kids menu item, ordered well done and the Chicken tenders with fries kids menu item. In spite of the crowd of 15 loud mouth grown women acting like children in the main area of the dining room, we were looking forward to a nice meal in a new place thats close. I ordered a margarita for my wife and I to share.(hoping to dull our senses with the 15 person crowd of women talking trashier than any dudes at a football game). Appetizer - Chiplotle buffalo wings. Delicious sauce and cooked right I'd order those again. Burger kids meal - The roll was falling apart because it was old/stale. The burger, ordered well done , was medium rare and pink in the middle. We asked for a salad with ranch dressing instead of fries. The ranch dressing was restaurant made and good to see. My daughter didn't like it though so we asked for balsamic. Our server was great about it but we showed her the burger with one bite out of it. She asked if we wanted something else, we declined. Chicken tender kids meal - Good tenders, actual chicken and french fries. Fries were overdone but thats minor when it comes to kids meals. Short ribs cheese steak - Cold short ribs, unmelted cheese, and plenty of hard spots. I ordered the "Smashed" potatoes. The portion was enough for an infant which would be fine for an infant because they were cold. Big disappointment. Taste was good. Short ribs dinner- They weren't moist and needed a knife to be cut. With the amount of grizzle attached, a steak knife would have been appropriate. The gravy was good not great and the we have to mention portion size. We aren't huge people. But the three small Brussels sprouts cut in half to make 6 halves and the amount of the short ribs was in a huge plate just doesn't cut it. Again, the amount of "Smashed potatoes" was ridiculous. Two mouthfuls of anything should be called a sampler. or call it "A shot of smashed potatoes". Whatever. Oh, and the drink we ordered - the Margarita.....the one thing that may have dulled our senses enough to overlook the fact that the noise coming from the lower dining area was enough to force us to shout to speak to each other ......Not in a margarita glass. Really? With a bar that size, and with the number of people seated at it, you can splurge on the margarita glasses. They sell them at the dollar store. Why two stars? Maria, our server was very helpful, asked us about refills and asked several times if we needed anything. So an extra star for that effort. However, she failed to remove the pink hamburger from the bill. But she looked very busy. Time for a manager who knows food, and a chef who can put together a menu that is reasonable and doable. Doable enough to cook properly at the very least. I am not one to trash people who work hard to get it right. But the reviews about this place are out of left field and the management won't change a thing based on good reviews so here I sit, writing one. Please get the food right. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner. Unfortunately, our dinner was interrupted by an urgent issue that required us to leave. That being said, we still very much enjoyed our experience, despite this. We had ordered drinks, appetizers, and dinner prior to leaving. Next time, I'm getting dessert! A nice selection of beer and an awesome array of appetizers! So, of course, we got a beer each and we got fried pickles (which are whole pickle spears, not chips! Yum!) and a hummus sampler. Delicious. Our dinners, which we had to have the kitchen box up so we could leave in our unanticipated hurry, were fantastic even though we had to reheat them a couple hours later. The service was very friendly and very involved, without being overbearing. I would like to come here for the bar, it looked fun. It was packed for football and loud, but not crazy.
