The tacos were flavorful and the ingredients tasted fresh, especially with their house salsa on the side. I also grabbed a bottle of water ($3.09). One thing to note is that 18% gratuity is automatically added to all checks, which is common on the island. Also the billl is slightly less if pay by cash. They also had some interesting specials posted like two pork belly tacos with rice and beans for $22, and margaritas like a Spicy Pomegranate Lunazul Margarita ($15) and Orange Cranberry Margarita ($13). For lunch, we ordered their 3 flour blackened Mahi fish tacos (it was EXCELLENT; fish cooked perfectly and the slaw & salsa added extra crunch and flavor) and they had a special order Chorizo soft tacos w/ side of beans/rice (the bean/rice are AWESOME! The tacos were very tasty but adding the salsa from my Mahi tacos put them up another level). My only complaint was the slow service (& they added an automatic 18% gratuity). The bartender was working her butt off making drinks & delivering food. The other 2 servers were overwhelmed with the fact that there were 5 cruise ships in town (both made the comments when asked by patrons "how's it going"). Our server forgot to bring water (had to ask twice) and then had to ask twice and wait for the extra salsa for the tacos. So if you're not pressed for time, the FOOD is worth the wait! We will be back on our next port day (just hope there aren't that many ships in port. lol)

While eating we were surprised with a round of complimentary shots delivered by the owner herself, which really made us feel appreciated. (Funny story, we ended up running into her again at Sea Salt which was fun!) You could tell that she takes pride in her restaurant and it shows! The location and vibes of the spot, in a chill alley where you can just hang and relax, made it so we didn't want to leave. But we did stop by the next day just to say hi! If you can't tell, I'm a big fan of Side Street Pub and I encourage you to check them out - you'll have a great meal and time!

I'm not positive it would have been dangerous to get in the car, but it definitely felt like he saved us. My brother (a carnivore) had some scrambled eggs with bacon on the side. When the plate arrived, the aroma of the perfectly cooked bacon brought an approving smile to everyone's face. My nephew had an "Indian" omelette (with ham and veggies). Quite delicious. He also had a freshly made fruit smoothy. I sampled 2 of the coffees, and liked them both. I settled for the strong one with a shot of Bailey's Irish Cream. Scrumptious!! The hostess and the chef were so sweet, attentive and friendly. Made us feel like "regulars".
